Is there any way to REMOVE the Junk Mail Box? I do not want any of my mail going to the junk mail box because it's too easy to miss mail you DO want that way. I want all downloaded mail to stay in the inbox until I move it. I always was able to DELETE the junk mail box in Outlook, and that is the way I prefer it. Why does MS have to make things harder instead of easier?!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to permanently disable the Junk E-Mail filter in Windows Mail on Vista, but no matter what I try to do it still moves email to the "Junk Email" folder. This wouldn't be so bad if it were any good at it, but the problem is it moves a LOT of legitimate email. I have missed some very important emails because they are moved to junk. My ISP has a spam filter which is pretty close to perfect (Ironport), so I don't really get spam. I have set to "No Automatic Filtering" in options. I have disabled phishing filter in Internet Options and in Windows Mail. I have deleted all block lists etc.

View 7 Replies View RelatedOver the weekend, my Windows Junk E-mail Folder mysteriously started not filling up. On a usual day, I used to get maybe 20-30 pieces of spam, and they were always smoothly sent off to the Junk E-mail Folder. Now at times there is no junk mail or, when there is, there are only 4 or 5 pieces at a time. Normally I'd be thrilled not to be inundated, but occasionally mail is sent mistakenly to the Junk E-mail Folder, and I'd like to be able to retrieve it if necessary. So: Am I in fact receiving junk mail but it's just not "registering"? If so, how do I get to see it again, like I always could before? I notice that the Junk E-mail folder itself now has a small red slash-in-circle on it. I don't recall seeing that before this behavior. Is it related to my issue and, if so, how do I set things right?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis keeps happening. Let me note that I never have missed paying a bill to Comcast. Why do people keep getting the messages they write to me back again? Here is what the most recent one said. "Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

Mail server for "comcast.net" unreachable for too long" I collect my email numerous times a day. Is there something I can do to receive email again? I do get some email but many times people are getting them back again.
In my previous email program of choice, Outlook Express, I used to beable to select the "to" function within the email message template and see a display of contacts that included the FOLDERS. In Windows Mail, the same action calls up ALL the contacts and NO folders. ALthough I can select multiple contacts from the Windows Contacts folder and through "action", install them in the "To" pane of an email message, I cannot jump from folder to folder to, for example, select contacts within another folder whom I wish to CC on the same message. The "Action" sequence always generates a new email template, posting any selected contact or contacts to the "To" pane.
I do not wish to create GROUPS and then go through the convoluted process of calling up the group in the "To" pane, and then deleting the ones I don't want. Needless to say, this feature was critical to my email flow and organization. Am I missing something? I have checked every forum and group I can. Others report the same issue without resolution. One forum individual said, "That's the way Windows Mail is".
