I'm wondering if anyone knows of a toolbar icon add-on for Vista Windows Mail? I hate having to right-click to "mark mail as Junk." I know Mozilla Thunderbird had an add-on for this sort of thing. where I can get Vista Windows Mail add-ons (and free)?
View 4 Repliesi just installed the latest windows live mail beta software client and i wanted to know how do i get junk mail to be displayed automatically ? before it would show automatically on the layout of the reading pane to the right of the message list but now i have to click to open them because they wont show in the reading pane like they did before

Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. (0x80070002)" After closing that error out I get "Windows Mail could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized.

View 7 Replies View RelatedOver the weekend, my Windows Junk E-mail Folder mysteriously started not filling up. On a usual day, I used to get maybe 20-30 pieces of spam, and they were always smoothly sent off to the Junk E-mail Folder. Now at times there is no junk mail or, when there is, there are only 4 or 5 pieces at a time. Normally I'd be thrilled not to be inundated, but occasionally mail is sent mistakenly to the Junk E-mail Folder, and I'd like to be able to retrieve it if necessary. So: Am I in fact receiving junk mail but it's just not "registering"? If so, how do I get to see it again, like I always could before? I notice that the Junk E-mail folder itself now has a small red slash-in-circle on it. I don't recall seeing that before this behavior. Is it related to my issue and, if so, how do I set things right?

Is there any way to REMOVE the Junk Mail Box? I do not want any of my mail going to the junk mail box because it's too easy to miss mail you DO want that way. I want all downloaded mail to stay in the inbox until I move it. I always was able to DELETE the junk mail box in Outlook, and that is the way I prefer it. Why does MS have to make things harder instead of easier?!

View 5 Replies View RelatedUsing Windows Mail. Junk mail box seems to have emptied itself. I tend to hold onto some junk mail that may be of interest but can't be bothered to read at that time. Obvious junk I delete from the junk mailbox. Now the junk mail box is completely empty? Has this happened to anyone? Is there any way of recovering these emails?

"All your emails are coming through as "Malevolent and Phishing" and go to my junk mail box"! I'm certainly not Phishing - nor am I malevolent! View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to permanently disable the Junk E-Mail filter in Windows Mail on Vista, but no matter what I try to do it still moves email to the "Junk Email" folder. This wouldn't be so bad if it were any good at it, but the problem is it moves a LOT of legitimate email. I have missed some very important emails because they are moved to junk. My ISP has a spam filter which is pretty close to perfect (Ironport), so I don't really get spam. I have set to "No Automatic Filtering" in options. I have disabled phishing filter in Internet Options and in Windows Mail. I have deleted all block lists etc.

Every time I open Windows Mail up, or the news groups, I get a message saying Windows mail isn't my default mail program, and asks if I want it to be. I click yes every time, but I will still get this message when I open Windows Mail again the next day. Everything's works OK after I click this message. No other errors or anything.
