I am using Adobe flash cs3 and other adobe softwares as well as other softwares.when i try to open any flash file using open with list it showing TWO Adobe Flash cs3 program names Remaing other program names are showing only one time.
How to clear that unwanted program form open with list..i try to this solution
I had ad aware 6 on my computer. I intstalled ad aware 7 without uninstalling 6. Ad aware 7 uninstalled it, but it is still on my add/remove programs list. How do I remove it from this list?

When it loaded up I noticed that everything is taking 2x as long to load and it is taking long time to even get the start button list up. I was able to get into the add/remove program list but nothing was there. I waited for about 10 minutes and then nothing still, I don't know any other way to remove McAfee, how to remove McAfee, add/remove program list won't work here.

1.I cannot open the "Properties " Dialog box in the "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. In Control Panel, I right-click "Add/Remove Programs" to open the "Properties" Dialog box. But, when I right-click, all that appears is "Open" and "Create Shortcut." The same goes for all the programs in the Control Panel, except a handful may display a 3rd option..."Explore." However, I can click to "Open" any of the programs in the Control Panel. My problem in this case is the "Properties "dialog box is not available. There must be a way to restore this command option.
2. It might be related in some way to Problem # 1. I cannot open "Add/Remove Windows Components" in "Add Remove/Programs." In Control Panel, I click to open "Add/Remove Programs, and click on "Add/Remove Windows Components." It will not open. Instead, this message box appears: "Setup was unable to open information file games.inf. Contact your System Administrator. The specific error code is 0x2 at line 0." I click "OK" and the next message box reads: "The application could not be initialized."

I can't seem to get rid of the remnants some Nokia programs that my son installed on the PC.
They wouldn't uninstall using the conventional method so I just deleted the folders and used Registry Medic to clean up the mess.
The only thing left is in the add/remove programs list.

How can I fix this?
When I go into the add remove programs from the control panel, the list never gets displayed. I get a 'Please wait while the list is populated...", but nothing happens after that. This is on a fresh install on a new PC, with only about 6 programs installed (Photoshop, Photomechanic, etc). Nothing out of the ordinary.

At the top of my Add/Remove Programs List I see a blank listing. It is 3.71 MB in size, it reports as being used "frequently" even though it says it was last used 3/5/2006.Odd.I don't know what would be causing this, any ideas?May I mention that there is NOT a button for change/remove program.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to the start button and click on all programs a screen comes up with all my programs. The problem with this is that I can't see all of my programs. Win XP Pro creates a screen that is not wide enough to display all my programs. My question is there a way to move the left edge of the screen to the left edge on my monitor so I can see all my programs. This screen doesn't go to the left edge of my monitor and you can't just click on the left edge and drag it to the left. It doesn't move. There should be a piece of code that tell XP where to display on screen. Can I get access to this code and move the left edge of this screen to the left as far as possible? I have approximately 115 programs and XP displays 3 columns plus a half of another column that I can only read a few letters in the forth column. Can the width of these columns also be made smaller so that I could view all of them? I'm sure there is a way to do this but I have never seen this problem addressed anywhere.
