There's a very annoying program called dfg shutdown installed on my computer that shuuting down my computer at certain time.I can't uninstall that program.Is there a way to prevent my computer from shutting down?

She can't get into windows at all. When I turn on her computer it goes to a black screen that gives me a choice to boot in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration. It is Windows XP Dell Laptop. I've tried them all, everytime it just goes straight to the same Blue Screen with same message.
She doesnt have a recovery cd with her.
So I reinstalled XP Home on an MPC Pentium 4 HT. After installing all the windows updates, including SP3, and some basic programs, I was up and running. The pc was running fast, and it was a joy to use. Then, just 1 week after the initial install, I'm on the computer playing a flash game, when it suddenly shuts down. It was in the middle of Shutting down windows and the power breaker went so my computer got shut off incorrectly. I started getting a memory dump screen when i tried to log into windows. So i put in the windows disk and did a Repair Install. that worked fine, I got it working and everything. Then I got a windows update installed from MS website... the whole Automatic Updare thing. So first of all, I have a Dell Inspiron 600m with Windows XP Home SP3. Some background info that may or may not be relevant: I just had this OS installed though the computer is several years old (I had an ingenuine XP Pro before I cleared my C drive and installed a genuine XP Home). The XP installed was SP1 and then I did all the WUDs up to now I where I have SP3. Also, during that period, I had done a repair install because of some error I was getting following installation of a WUD. I don't know if any of that will be relevant at all, but just thought I should mention it.

A while back while using my computer a blue screen popped up saying that windows encountered an error and that it would shut down to prevent damage. When that happened I simply restarted my computer and everything was fine. This happened one or two times later and everything was fine. Today it happened again and when I went to restart it it the blue screen popped up immediately after that. On the third time I went to restart it the computer just said boot failure and did nothing. Every time I try to restart it does the same thing. It will let me press f2 for the start up settings but when I press f8 for safe mode it does nothing.

I decided to shut down the computer after I finished. The next day a teacher says do not shut down the computer because last night teachers could not use the computer. Is this just a security reason once you shut down you can't use the computer again for that day? I know when the problem is occurring because the sound card icon doesn't show on the task bar.I don't know if all programs are non-functioning, but the internet connection and the sound card are not only when this occurs. I'm running Windows XP home sp2 on a WD Raptor hooked to a Gigabyte 7NNXP mobo inside a Lian Li tower. I have all the latest drivers, BIOS updates and Windows updates. The problem is that when turning off the computer from Windows it continues to run, (Windows shuts down but power light is on and fans are running). At this point I used to be able to turn it off by pressing the power button [Instant off set in BIOS]. Then that stopped working and I tried the four second delay after pressing power button option in BIOS and that is working but I'm afraid something is not right and continuing without isolating the problem will result in broken computer.
