Moving My Music Folder From Shared Documents Folder
Feb 6, 2009In previously highlighted issues regarding backing-up shared documents to my Seagate Freeagent hard drive, I simply decided to move the My Music Folder from the shared documents folder, but Windows is disallowing me from doing this stating that My Music is a Windows system folder & cannot be renamed or removed? Any help please on getting around this to move My Music from the shared documents? I'm running XP with servce pack 3.

May 20, 2006I have xp home and my computer and laptop are connected wireless.Had it set up to share the printer and an extra hard drive that I have (but not C Drive).This all works fine However I have looked at my Shared Documents on each computer and even though I can open them and no error message comes up, I cannot see files I put in them from either computer.I have Zone Alarm on one and Norton on the other Disabled them but no change

I have a Maxtor 250GB external hard drive where I store my music files at. May 3, 2010I am running a PC clone, Win XP SP3. It is using a wired connection to a router. Yesterday, out of no where, I lost connection to the internet. No browsers, Trillian, nothing that uses the internet works. I tried running a virus scan, malware scan and found nothing. I tried doing a system restore and it seemed to work, for a brief moment I had the internet again. Then, once more, it stopped working.
Right now, the current speculation is that the onboard network connection is dying. What I'm trying to find out, is if that is possible or not. I'm not worried about having to buy a card - they're cheap. I am worried about buying a new card and it not fixing the problem.Are there other things that can cause this to happen that I can/should look into first?
Lost Huge Folder
Oct 7, 2005I had my thumb on the left mouse key with a folder selected in wdws explorer tree and was startled by a sound outside. I inadvertantly "dragged" that folder to the left of the tree -- and now that whole huge folder has disappeared. It is not in the recycle bin, and I have even searched the drive with wdws "find files."
