Error Finding Vfloppy.sys-fake Floppy Driver Not Found

I tried to create a separate partition on this hard drive, using partition magic, to use for backup.I had just successfully created one on my other computer using partition magic five minutes ago.It went through all the steps and then told me that it did not successfully create the partition on this one.I tried to run the "create restore discs" utility and it kept asking for a floppy disc which my machine doesn't have.I then press enter and it brings up the black screen asking me to choose which operating system to start. The choices are: Windows Media Center or System Restore.

I have a Gateway 7422GX which as a Mobility Radeon 9550. I repaired windows using the cd because I restarted my computer and it was either going to take 7min+ to boot, or just wasn't going to. I got stuck at the windows splash screen. I'm using windows professional. Whenever I try to install any of the drivers, I get the same error message: Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system. Setup will now exit.

I need a driver for the floppy, supported by XP, but different to the one it installs automatically.It´s due that I can´t write to the floppy, but when I disabled the onboard SIS AGP Graphics Adaptor on the Device Manager, then I´m able to write to it.The graphics driver was updated, but the problem persists. For this reason I need to test with a different floppy driver.But to find it on any site of the web has been impossible for me. Does anybody knows exactly where to find it ?

I been trying to find the driver for my integrated network card for the computer HP a1640n. I recently connected a faulty HDD to my working PC and it trashed it.I have managed to get it to boot now and reinstalled the graphics but the Soundmax drivers will not reinstall.I have tried downloading fresh drivers, and using the original motherboard driver disk, but I keep getting 'driver not found! reboot your system and run this setup again'.I have tried this but it doesn't work, neither does the install hardware wizard and soundmax doesn't appear in device manager. I have tried system restore and also tried to install soundmax in safe mode nothing works.

After reinstalling Windows XP Home edition on my PC I have found that a driver for the Network Card could not be found (see attached file containing pics). In Device Manager the network card does not appear under network adapters but instead under other devices as an Ethernet Controller with a yellow question mark and exclaimation point. Unfortunately, Windows does not appear to have a driver and I can't connect to the internet to search for one.I tried installing DriverGuide which says the device is an "82551 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller" made by Intel.

I've tried googling, I've tried driver-guide and I tried just about every place I can think of but for the
life of me, I just cannot seem to install this CDRom in WinXp SP2. Every time the computer reboots it finds this new hardware and cannot find the drivers anywhere! Internet or on my computer.It just can't find them. I've gone to Lite-On Site but with no luck. I would just toss this piece of out the window and just get a new one but the fact that it finds it tells me that it does works. My DVD-ROM has no problem.

My CD-Rom won't work, I mean theres power but it won't play anything. I tried the troubleshoot tips of uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it couldn't find the drivers. I can't find my installation disks, it won't even play audio CD's. I bought a new game and now I can't lay it.It is a Teac DV-516E. I think that the driver just needs to be reinstalled, but can't find anywhere, can I download it from the net or do I need the disk, what. I haven't messed with my computer in a while, so I have forgotten what I need to do.

i have 2 western digital 80gb on raid0. on this array i have installed windows 7 and now i want to install windows xp on another partition.the problem is that windows xp setup won't recognize my array even with the original raid driver floppy-disk. i created even an nLite customized xp with those drivers installed and it doesn't work.

I recently just re-installed windows xp on my hp pavilion laptop. I just got a used computer from a friend,they told me it was xp well it is,im pretty sure,but vista is on it for some reason and whenever it asks for the key(thats on the side of the tower)i put it in and it says its not the right code,i think because its not a vista computer?I can put it in safe mode and stuff i was wondering if i could take the vista off the computer would the xp be there?it doesnt let me do anything when its in normal mode well it lets me use the internet but i cant see my destop or use programs listen to music you know.Anyways im not interested in anything illegal i just want the computer to work properly.

i have a dell dimension 310 with Window xp. when started the first screen is black and says floppy disk seek error, i dont even have a floppy drive. press f1 and will go to sign on screen, you press the user and xp pops up for a second and back to sign on screen.it wont stay open.

i am using a windows xp, sp2, computer and here is a low down on whats been going on:fake security center alert, about a virus called "win32.netsky.q" try to run msconfig get a warning saying "msconfig has caused system failure" and system restarts firefox / ie will not load and crash instantly msn loads then just disappears avg and Anti-malware scan show nothing. managed to get msconfig to stay open and removed from startup something called "fhexj6825097" under "Application data/google" and now msconfig will not close

my xp software is fake as i am always reminded of by the computer,but the problem is that now, everything is comparitively slower, even for the computer to fully boot takes about 6 minutes and cpu always makes a loud an annoying noise which i think is from the fans. i want to know if the slower rate and the noise is a hardware problem or if the two are caused by two different problems

I have one HP Presario C700 with Windows Vista. All my family know on XP. When i try to install windows xp , i have one problem :no HDD found. The error is : Setup did not find any HDD installed in your computer. Make sure any HDD are powered on and properly connected to your computer and that any disk-related hardware configuration is correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program. Setup can not continue. To quit setup press F3.” Dont have floopy disk, with pressing F6 not happens nothing. The version of Windows is SP2. When i enter in BIOS, i dont see my HDD disk.
