Hey all I wanted information on how to find a corrupted file in OE ... I'm unable to delete any messages and all my sent files are gone. I would like to reinstall OE but I don;t want to add in the corrupted file AGAIN
View 2 Repliesrecently me my brother and sisters computers all got the same virus it seems and where all on one wireless net work and it started with my sisters laptop sayin the harddrives not instaled wheni start it up and nothing els and my brothers desktop kept feezzeing like my desk top did then mine stoped turning on all togther and would get to the desk top and crash and take 3-4 trys to get started then i did a destructive system recovery on my brothers comp and it is fine perfect like the day we got it then i did it to mine and it started up and worked but kept frezzing on the desk top and then now when i start it up and try to restore from last know workin configuration it says windows/system32/config/system is missing or corrupted hit r to start repair from original cd rom disks and i dont have those is there a way i could find this file and put it on a cd form one comp and fix my comp with it? or do i have to go buy a new windows and hardrive? and when i try to boot it any ways it says system not fully installed error

I was running AVG anti virus. Now I removed AVG and installed Microsoft supplied security essential software. View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently reformatted due to slowing of my computer and things have been great, playing alot of Battlefield 2142 and it looks amazing on my rig, however today I was playing and things were going excruciatingly show, and eventually just stopped. I had to unplug it and turn it back on. I noticed problems immediately after XP loaded up and got on my user. Resolution was to a minumum, my AIM, Steam, and just about everything crashed and gave me the error report message. Everytime I load AIM or Firefox(IE too), it gives me an error report screen, however there really isn't a problem, i just move the error window to the corner of my screen and I'm able to browse freely.

She has a DELL laptop and keeps getting an error message about her VIRTUAL MEMORY being too low or something to that effect. It's a DELL P4 with 256meg of RAM and a 1.7 gig processor.

I have Windows XP 2000 and yeah it can be a bit slow but I admit my laptop is a piece of junk, I have never had this problem, no recent applications or unusual downloads. When ANY of the following messages appear, I close the window that pops up and it closes whatever window I was browsing the inet with. It's really annoying and its happening more and more frequently (every 2-3 minutes)
