I'm trying to run a game program and I'm getting the error message saying, " The Midi driver for your sound card cannot be found. This program requires a Midi driver to be properly installed on your system. Please read your sound card's documentation to install the appropriate sound drivers."My sound card is working normally. The sound on my computer works.
I have a Gateway 7422GX which as a Mobility Radeon 9550. I repaired windows using the cd because I restarted my computer and it was either going to take 7min+ to boot, or just wasn't going to. I got stuck at the windows splash screen. I'm using windows professional. Whenever I try to install any of the drivers, I get the same error message: Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system. Setup will now exit.
I bought a Dell Labtop from a friend which runs on Windows XP, but when i put a CD in the drive i get" Driver not found " can someone help me with this problem,
I recently connected a faulty HDD to my working PC and it trashed it.I have managed to get it to boot now and reinstalled the graphics but the Soundmax drivers will not reinstall.I have tried downloading fresh drivers, and using the original motherboard driver disk, but I keep getting 'driver not found! reboot your system and run this setup again'.I have tried this but it doesn't work, neither does the install hardware wizard and soundmax doesn't appear in device manager. I have tried system restore and also tried to install soundmax in safe mode nothing works.
I've a problem with HDMI Audio after I've formated and reinstalled my PC, I've a "ATI HD RADEON 4870". When I intsalled the audiodriver which is ATI HDMI Audio, nothing shows in device manger and I can not select it as a sound playback source, I've reintsalled it several times now with any better luck,
After reinstalling Windows XP Home edition on my PC I have found that a driver for the Network Card could not be found (see attached file containing pics). In Device Manager the network card does not appear under network adapters but instead under other devices as an Ethernet Controller with a yellow question mark and exclaimation point. Unfortunately, Windows does not appear to have a driver and I can't connect to the internet to search for one.I tried installing DriverGuide which says the device is an "82551 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller" made by Intel.
I've tried googling, I've tried driver-guide and I tried just about every place I can think of but for the life of me, I just cannot seem to install this CDRom in WinXp SP2. Every time the computer reboots it finds this new hardware and cannot find the drivers anywhere! Internet or on my computer. It just can't find them. I've gone to Lite-On Site but with no luck. I would just toss this piece of out the window and just get a new one but the fact that it finds it tells me that it does works. My DVD-ROM has no problem.
My CD-Rom won't work, I mean theres power but it won't play anything. I tried the troubleshoot tips of uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it couldn't find the drivers. I can't find my installation disks, it won't even play audio CD's. I bought a new game and now I can't lay it.It is a Teac DV-516E. I think that the driver just needs to be reinstalled, but can't find anywhere, can I download it from the net or do I need the disk, what. I haven't messed with my computer in a while, so I have forgotten what I need to do.
I am receiving an error as shown below: "C:windowssystem32xp-A59327F7" is not found ACPID driver error network controller driver error This system is a cloned. The original system I cloned is working fine. My OS is winxp.
I recently just re-installed windows xp on my hp pavilion laptop. When I attempted to install the sound driver off of hp site I receive an error message stating."Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the Media device for this driver."I have a basic understanding of operating systems. If you can please explain in detail. I don't know what other information to list. So if more is necessary I do my best to provide.
I tried to create a separate partition on this hard drive, using partition magic, to use for backup.I had just successfully created one on my other computer using partition magic five minutes ago.It went through all the steps and then told me that it did not successfully create the partition on this one.I tried to run the "create restore discs" utility and it kept asking for a floppy disc which my machine doesn't have.I then press enter and it brings up the black screen asking me to choose which operating system to start. The choices are: Windows Media Center or System Restore.
I'm really at a loss for words. For some odd reason, every now and again, I hear what sounds like the first second of the Linkin Park song Crawling. No idea where it's coming from. All of my mp3 players could be running or not and I've heard it. I've checked to make sure that if I had any browsers open, that there wasn't any kind of annoying flash advertisement doing it. I've updated my AVG Anti-Virus and ran that as well as AVG-Anti Spyware but I still hear the midi.
I posted this on October 19th, but had no replies, so I'll try again. When I click on a midi link, WMP will open then freezes. CPU usage for WMP at 99%. Have to close WMP with task manager. If I go to a page with an embedded midi file, the page will freeze, no sound and cpu usage at 99% for Internet Explorer. This does not occur using Firefox only with Internet Explorer. As far a WMP, this was occurring with WMP 10, a friend suggested that I should upgrade to version 11. No change.
I have a Windows XP with a 2.66 Pentium 4 and 786 MB of RAM. I am working on a slideshow using PowerPoint and I would like to insert some sounds. The MIDI Sequence files will appear to play but no sound will come.
For two months I have been trying to connect my (simple) "Midiplus 61" piano keyboard to my Acer "Travelmate 4150" laptop (under Win XP Home) using one of its USB ports, so as to drive a music program. The keyboard produces a MIDI stream. I must have downloaded 250 Mbytes of so called "USB-MIDI Drivers", some from Acer, some from MSoft, many from individuals who profess to know the solution. Now, in desperation I seek help from my CNET colleagues,I must add that the keyboard works fine when driving through Win 98 on an old machine and the laptop produces excellent Steinway piano sound when running, say, a "Pianoteq" demonstration file.
I have a couple thousand midi files broken into smaller folders. I click one to play with Media Player or there was a link that said PLAY ALL. That doesn't appear anymore and I have to keep selecting tunes each time one ends. I looked in the window drop downs but can't find how to bring back PLAY ALL.

MFC42U.dll was not found. Search of computer reveals file not on computer. Google found many advertising free download but when visiting sites want you to download a scan for dll issues and many want a fee.Very leery of these sites.
When starting up my Dell computer, running Microsoft XP, I get an error every time I start up. I'm just not sure what this error is - I have been having performance issues with the computer lately and am not sure if this error is related. The error says: CoreFoundation.dll was not found.
My brother has given me his old PC and I was planing to do a complete re-installation... so after a few attempts I keptr getting loads of error messages! So I thought it was the HDD... which I completely wiped... Now I boot up with my SP3 disc and it starts to load and then I get " set up did not find any hard disk drives installed on your computer"
After some googling I think there is something to do with a RAID driver?!! The motherboard is an ASUS K8V-MX and I dont have the disc!! So I've been on their website and downloaded the appropriate raid driver... so I started the re-boot with xp disc in, then pressed F6 as instructed and now I am lost... how do i get the driver files on the disc into the system?
i bought a ASUS motherboard about 8 months ago its a A8V Deluxe i believe and when it boots it says detecting BIOS then a bunch of. then it says BIOS NOT FOUND!
I just installed XP on my new rig; I then put in the motherboard CD and got that all installed. However, when trying to install the USB 2.0 drivers a text message comes up saying that I don't need to install the drivers if I have XP SP2.My problem is that when I try to put in ANY usb device windows does not detect it, so I cannot use my printer or external hard drive.Anyone know what's wrong? Is it a BIOS problem? Or do I have to find the drivers somewhere? Or are my USB things broken?
