I have a Desktop which has Windows XP installed. I have some Favourites music DVD`s saved in Real Players Favourites Section,but I am having great difficulty in burning them on to a CD. I have been using Nero to burn other things in the past, but I can not find 'Real Player Favourites' using Nero`s 'Add' Section.

View 6 Replies View RelatedDownloaded SP2 for Windows XP Home and immediately lost all video (not audio) in both Real Player and Windows Media Player. Removed each of these and reloaded "fresh" version - same problem. Then removed SP2 and presto - video returns.

I am having a problem with my computer.When I try to close applications like internet browser, real player, dxdiag there comes a blue screen and it says something about memory dump error. It says beginning to dump and so on. This started happening aftr the installation of Sp2 where as before there were no service packs installed.
View 14 Replies View RelatedIam having touble burning audio files from my windows media player. it begins to burn and then I get a bubble from my task bar that warns about low disk space. The burning only goes for anywhere from one to five songs worth then stops. When I click on those that didn't burn I get a window that reads, "Windows Media Player cannot burn the files because there is not enough free disk space to store the temporary files. Delete some unneeded files on your hard disk and then try again".

I can burn to DVD-RW and CD-RW and CD-R but not DVD+ or DVD-I am adding the error message, I know its long but in other posts it has been said that not enough info is given.Nothing unusual happened at shutdown last night or bootup this morning.Problems seem to start at 8:48:15 AM #21 I don't know how to interpret this data
After I use twitter I cant open a folder in my favourites to go to anbother site, I can click on a favourite not in a folder but it wont open a favourite folder.I have to close down the window and open a new one then everthing works fine.It only happens after going on Twitter

multi-format player, it won't play. The Sony supports regular CD's, DVD+ RW/+R, DVD- RW/-R, JEPG, MP3, etc, it's brand new. So who do you call Microsoft who created the PS3 software, Toshiba (new laptop w/awsome
mulit-dvd burner drive), Record Now (software that does the burning) or Sony who manufactured the DVD/VCR unit (new).Each tech seems to want to brush me off on the other.Like, is there some simple switch or something I'm not doing that makes a big difference when I want this movie to burn to a disk to be played back on

3 months ago I installed Service Pak2. Prior to the installation Windows Media Player9 had been running flawlessly on my system. After Installation, however I have been totally unable to get Windows Media Player to open. I downloaded Version 10 of Windows Media Player and installed it but again I was unable to get it to open. I cleared all traces of WMP from registry and turned off system restore and then re installed WMP10. Still would not open and the system will not permit me to use version 9 anymore.

I have done the following:
1. disabled it in MSCONFIG
2. checked it in SERVICES.MSC and it is disabled
3. ran highjack this and removed the 04 wmpnscfg.exe from the list
4. Deleted wmpsncfg.exe and the wmpnssci.dll from the cprogram fileswindows media player.
and the thing still is in msconfig startup after i opened and closed Windows Media player,so has anyone been able to totally remove this crap form startup?
I use WMP for everything but dont need all that other crap running i dont even have a network cable connected to my pc.
dose anyone know of a good all in 1 media player i could try instead?
No wonder you need a newer pc to run windows Vista, Microsoft puts so much crap in there programs and OS that even when its disabled or windows says it is ....... it still runs !!

i have it on a 5g drive, and it has bloated itself beyond proper functioning. Is 10g enough or should i go to 50g? I do not install program files on this drive. or my documents. or my images. or anything else that i can possibly put somewhere else.
My system is incredibly slow opening programs. Real slow! Could someone take a look at my HJT log and see if anything is there?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know what happened, all the sudden while my daughter was in the middle of being on the internet website called evergirl.com (kids games & talk like barbie.com) the computer hung up and got real sluggish. After she was able to close completely out of it I restarted the computer. It came on slowly and gave an error message, as I went to write it down, it blanked off (it said something about unable to open *some* local files and something about a *damaged* registry key. Then it opened to a desktop from like when we first got the computer, most my files are their but the shortcuts are gone off the desktop and mozilla asked if I wanted to import all my data from OE.

Why can't Windows XP be intelligent enough to verify that I myself am the Administrator and sole User of the Computer, as can be seen from the Users in Control Panel?
