I have a Canon Scanner. When I want scan something and I click on print then after the document is finished printing and if I want to click print again to print another document then I get an error saying: " The parallel port may be used by another application. Error Code: 0x00060800 " How do I fix this Problem? The Scaner Program is called: CanoCraft CS-P 3.7.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWe've had to change our address space and therefore the printer address has changed. I've changed the address on all but one computer. On this particular computer when I try to edit the TCP/IP port I get the message:
"An error occurred during port configuration. Access is denied."
If I try to create a new port I can select that I want it to be a Standard TCP/IP Port and then it tells me:

The printer is a SHARED printer (HP Deskjet F380) on another machine on the network. The printer was previous installed on this machine before the crash and reinstall of WinXP.After nearly 2 hours on the phone w/ HP support, it's been determined (by HP support) that somewhere in the XP install, a missing XP driver is keeping this install from properly allowing any printers to be installed. The printer will 'appear' to be installed, but any attempt to print brings an error saying printer drivers aren't properly installed.

It also shows Windows Virtual Memory Minimum too low your system is low on virtual memory, Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file, during this process, memory requests for some applications may be denied. I also tried to install Microsoft Office Word 12, it came up there is not enough memory on your disc space to run Word. I got fed up and was going to delete some old Microsoft Updates but instead deleted as many temporary files I could and cookies as well.

It is telling me: the file "asms" on windows xp home edition service pack 2 cd is needed. Type the path where the file is located and then click okay.I enter d: ( my cd drive) and nothing. it says: globalrootdevice cdromoi386 in the path line. nothing. I have read as many posts here as I can and it is stopped in the middle of the installation at 39 minutes waiting for me to become an instant genius and solve it.

Now when I try to re-open them for revisal, or even just to look at them, I get a msg in a small window that says "Works task launcher cannot open the file you selected. After I start Internet Explorer it does not cause any problem but when I close even one Internet Explorer window it asks me if I should send the error report. Then he had me download the latest printer drivers from Epson and them the subject title error message came up. The balance of the error message is: C:WindowsSystem32Autoexec.NT
System file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications. Chose Close or Ignore
Every time I try to update a programme I get this message, I notice it says IE5, I'm using IE6 if that makes any difference to the error report.
