Jan 8, 2005It seems my recycle bin keeps saying I have 17 items, i keep emptying it but it always says the same thing. I open it up to look inside but there is nothing there. but it shows files in it every time.

Jul 2, 2008I have not had a problem for a while regarding my desktop icons not refreshing, but have recently had my recycle bin display as the full icon when it has nothing in it? When I click refresh in the recycle bin menu,it remains "full"(I have even checked to see if its full by opening the "bin,but nothing shows up after opening it),and I was wondering if anyone familiar with this particular problem might have an easy solution?

So I've been randomly disconnecting when playing games like WoW, and CoH & losing connection on the internet as well. It can't be the router I assume since the laptop upstairs which connects to the same thing never disconnects. I have a D-Link router and a D-link gaming router which connects to the PC. Any help?

Aug 1, 2008All was well until the 16th July. On the 17th July, according to my PC it was the 23rd. For some reason know only to IT technology, my PC decided it didn't like the third week of July and promptly gained a week. I put the date back - only to literally watch it slowly then highlight the date it had decided upon. What happened on the 16th July originally that prompted this - I have no idea - no event log or anything else. Have synchronised with internet time stamp and it tells me it can't because my date is wrong. Every time I change it, it holds for one or two seconds and then literally unhighlights todays date (that I have just changed it to) and highlights the date approximately a week ahead.

I don't see any reports of nastiness after running MBAM or Avira AV, thought the system has been infected in the past.
