Page Cannot Display In Ebay Or Bank Site
May 2, 2005I changed from road runner to sbc. now my computer tell me that this page can not be displayed every time I go in Ebay or bank site. I thought it was my computer until my lap top (wireless) started the same thing.

Jun 26, 2010Until recently there were a large number of Windows operating systems for sale on ebay. Particularly Win XP Pro OEM versions at reasonable prices. I purchased one several months ago, and it came in a sealed package, with COA and that beautiful CD. I finally got around to installing it on a new build, activated like a champ. But when I went to download some security updates it went berserk...THIS IS COUNTERFEIT, blah, blah. So I mailed it off to MS WGA. Now there are very few OSs listed on ebay. Could someone fill me in on what happened, and did MS make good on their offer to replace the fraudulent system with a good one? Also, how come it activated if it was counterfeit?

Nov 9, 2005I love MF but I cannot use it because I sell on Ebay and it won't let me use any of the tools for formating. Fonts, color etc. and I need that for description purposes. I went onto Crucial Technology's website, and it said I needed a:512MB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR PC3200 memory module, Can someone direct me to what would be compatible on eBay or Newegg.com because i have no idea of what I should buy. Would any 200-pin memory card work? And do I really need to spend the extra money on a 1 GB, or will a 512 be good?

Dec 24, 2009I have a six year old dell. old installation of Windows XP is damaged beyond repair so I will have to reinstall it.I have the dell serial number, service tag number, and most of the other relevant information. I even have the original Windows XP license key number printed on a label on the side of my computer.the one thing that I do not have is the Windows XP installation disk.What is the best way to resolve this?I have seen XP disks for sale on ebay craigslist. Can I purchase one of those and install it on my old computer? If I do that should I get a new license key from them or do I use my old one.

Jun 19, 2005I downloaded a program from Ebay and after installing it I noticed it didn't have a uninstall. I used my add & remove program to uninstall the program but not all of it got uninstalled. I deleted the folder and then did a search in my registry for anything with refernce to the programs name "Ebay's Blackthorne" and deleted all entries with that name.Every time I reboot windows tries to install something for Blackthorne and I have to keep cancelling it out.

Mar 24, 2006I'm having an issue I just can not understand. When I have two IE browsers open, I sometimes get the "Page Cannot Be Displayed" error on the second brower. When I try to go to the same page as the working browser I get the samel thing. It's like the second browser is not connectted to the internet.After shutting down both browsers several times and even rebooting sometimes, it will eventually work fine.

Jul 13, 2005A few weeks ago it started and got worse now that Windows shows the message "EXPLORER.EXE is not responding" during logoff/shutdown after it has been up for a couple of hours. After 2 or 3 minutes showing this message (I resist to abort the program), heavy hard drive activity and a low CPU load of approx. 5-10%, mainly kernel time, it continues and shuts down fine. Task manager shows that nothing much is happening during this 2-3 minutes except for page faults of explorer.exe thus I
assume it must be some paging performance problem. Generally, after these 2-3 minutes explorer.exe has accumulated another 20000 page faults before the system continues which seems a little bit much for a 25MB process. Sometimes, the heavy swapping for 2-3 minutes also happens while the system is running.The computer got a fresh XP Prof. SP2 setup from CD about two months ago. 512 MB main memory from which there is according to task manager 1/3 still available and the total memory usage is still far from that, too.
Program Not Responding At All
Jan 6, 2005Several times a day when trying to open certain sites I get a pop-up telling me "This program is not responding" - I have no idea why this happens, it isn't just one program - it could be anything. Does anyone know why this is happening and what can be done about it.
