Downloaded IE 7: Lost The Tool Bar?
Jul 1, 2006When I downloaded Internet Explorer 7, I lost my tool bar across the top and I do not know where to access it. Also, I do not know where to go to ask help for Internet Explorer 7.

Downloaded A Tool Bar
Feb 11, 2005Some how I have downloaded a tool bar. It is at the bottom of my screen at all times, even when I am viewing pictures. It just wont it to go. How can I get rid of it . Can any one help please It has a search box, which takes me to a search web site but when I close the site down the tool bar is still there.

Feb 7, 2009For Some odd reason, After I downloaded an AVG free update I lost my desktop. All the profiles on my computer only show the background when you open them. All programs still operate correctly. I can open the task manager and run programs from it, but all the icons and the start bar are gone. I am not able to open any display controls, nor can I right click and get any options. I am not even able to pull up the control panel.

Aug 12, 2005Every time I download service pack 2 I lose my task bar and icons. Internet explorer will not start. I tried to download off the computer and finally sent for disk. Nothing seems to work. I have a 64 bit computer but my XP home is a 32 bit. I tried to turn off all firewalls and Norton and nothing seems to work. Thinking of saving all files and starting over(re download XP). The only way I get everything back is to restore to the earlier time

May 7, 2007My wallpaper has disappeared even though it appears under display properities-themes. Under the desktop tab my wallpaper is set correctly. When I try to change the theme from modified theme to windows classic the change is not accepted. My screensaver was the picture slideshow and is now windows xp moves across the screen as the screensaver. When I try to change it back the change is not accepted.
This all started because I am trying to back up my computer to an external hard drive and keep getting error message "windows delay write failed". I tried updating the hard disk driver but there wasn't any update. While searching for fixes for that problem, I came across Panda Software online virus checker. I used it and it deleted a few viruses. They were all old, some may have only been unopened email attachments and they were all from 2001 and 2002. Two days later, I was using logmein - remote access and while rebooting (not the first reboot) I got the blue screen. Here's the error message.

Lost Photos - Data Lost Writing On Cd
Jun 26, 2005I have burned some photos onto a CD -R and have gone back into the cd drive but they are missing!! where have they gone. The photos were definitely burned on. I thought that once on a cd nothing could be lost.

it's appearance and functions. I am not using cmd in full screen mode. I can see it by right clicking the minimized cmd on my task bar, using properties or I can use edit from that right click context, but I want the name bar back. When I go to the right click context>properties and click normal window it should restore this but it doesn't.

Tool Bar Is Hidden
Mar 8, 2010Upon hitting a sequence of keyboard keys in error, my tool bar at the bottom of the screen has disappeared. The space for it remains, but I cannot find the correct path (or set of keys) to bring back the tool bar at the bottom of my screen.
