I have searched everywhere for the Realtek Integrated Ethernet Driver for a HP 3000 MT and running Win XP Pro.I can't get on the internet with that computer so I can use any updating software.
After installing Windows XP Home last night, I updated to SP3, installed drivers from toshiba.com. However, installing the driver for Ethernet controller didn't work from toshiba.com. Realtek ethernet is listed and working in device manager. This ethernet controller with yellow question mark maybe from the wireless card? The wireless xp utility is not in the system tray. I have an atheros internal wireless card. This is a Toshiba Satellite A25-s2792 laptop
I need to track down drivers for my Packard Bell Imedia 3082 XP Pro service pack 3 desktop. I have been to the packard bell support/drivers site and found 5 out of 7 missing drivers. I had tried the suggested site previously but when i clicked on download products i kept getting a "server not found message". Tried it yesterday again and it worked so thanks to the people who suggested that. Problem now is I am still missing my ethernet controller driver and my multimedia controller driver. I dont know the exact device details in order to download the two missing drivers. to tracking down the ethernet and multimedia controller. I have downloaded and installed the multimedia driver from the Pack Bell Imedia 3082 site but still it is yellow with exclamation mark. And i still cant connect to my Belkin router. So in brief: I need the device details to my ethernet controller and multimedia controller so that i can track down the drivers.

I just reformatted my comptuer/reinstalled windwos, and when I went to get online, I couldn't. Turns out the drivers to my computer's ethernet card were not installed. Kind of confused me a bit, since the card is exactly the same since we bough the computer about 3 years ago. I'm wondering were to get these drivers, since I cannot connect to the internet, none of the installation cd's drivers work, and the device manager is so vague about what specific hardware it is.
ok, i recently ordered verizon online dsl the first area of concern is the fact that the brand new installation cd is scatched beyon the point of working. so i call the number and tell me we are going to it manually. OK that is fine by me. well then they tell that my dial up connection is getting in the way of my ethernet card. how i can check and see if my ethernet card is properlly installed?
I'm trying to get my Canon IP8500 printer to work with my Samsung NC20 netbook which is running Windows XP.Usually I simply plug the printer into any Windows XP computer and it'll automatically install the necessary drivers. However, when I plug it into my netbook and instruct Windows XP to automatically search/find and install the drivers, it can't find any.So I've gone onto the Canon website and manually downloaded the drivers, but when I try to install them via the setup.exe it says that a newer driver is already installed, and aborts the setup.The weird thing is that there definitely isn't a driver already installed, because I've even gone into device manager and uninstalled the printer/driver before trying again.
I am using Windows XP Home with SP1 and SP2, a 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 with 1 GB of Ram. The problem involves a Coolscan 9000 film scanner with Firewire connection. I was updating a video driver, then restarted my computer. It takes a LONG time to boot up, then flashes an error message on the screen for a second, then restarts. I've tried holding down F8 to startup in safe mode, but it doesn't respond. Also, even when I have the win xp CD in while rebooting to try to repair the OS (yes, the CD drive is the 1st boot device), it won't recognize the CD either. I'm in a heap of trouble without my computer;
When I try to put my computer on standby the following message appears: "The device driver for the Communications Port (COM1) device is preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If problem persists, you may need to update the driver." I believe I need to install an updated driver for my display adapter.However, I am having difficulty locating an appropriate download (for no fee, f possible). Could someone point me in the right direction?
I have an MP3 player that I want to hook up to my computer, but it is asking for Drivers (MTP Device). After going through the installing driver process, it doesn't find the driver. From what I remember doesn't the Windows Driver Foundation control the MTP devices in the INF folder of my windows directory?
This happens when I watch videos, or do anything that has to do with videos such as windows movie maker or use media player, anyways, I keep getting this page http://oca.microsoft.com/en/response...&SID=10.My question is, how do I find out which device driver is causing the error so I will stop getting to many unexpected restarts/freezes?
