Is there any way to use 2 XBOX 360 Controllers for Windows and 2 XBOX 360 Wired headsets at the same time in a game on the same PC? I have tried and both headsets are working properly independently but was just hoping to get them both outputting sound primarily with both microphones recording as the secondary priority.
Can I use two Wired Xbox 360 controllers to play games like Fifa 12 & Virtua Tennis 4 multi-player with a friend locally? I've read you can do it with the wireless controllers but I cannot find any evidence on using two wired ones.
I want to buy a controller that will work with new games that requires Xbox 360 wired controller. I bought a cheap Chinese controller but it works on games prior the year 2007. I am trying to use an xbox controller to play RAGE on my pc, but even when I select the gamepad for use it does not work. Yet, the xbox controller buttons are displayed for the mouse, eg A instead of E for interaction. I am probably missing something really obvious, but I am not terribly pc literate. What should I do to use the gamepad?

So I just got this Xbox 360 controller for gaming and downloaded the hardware at the Microsoft Hardware web site, but when I go to activate it in the "game controllers" option in the control panel, the icon doesn't show. So I went on the internet trying to find some way to get around this whole thing. I found a post on this web site that was very useful and it took me to device manager where I followed the step by step instructions to install the driver, but when I tried to install the driver on my PC it would say: "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it." Then it says: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
I want to buy an xbox wired controller to play games on pc with the controller. My question is that the controller works as the same like on xbox? Actually, I mean the analog sticks. It has the same sensitivity on pc like on xbox? Because in the keyboard you can push the button or not. With the analog sticks you have more possibility, sensitivity.

First some info: Windows 7 Professional x64, Intel x58 Chipset So, looking in my device manager I've noticed that a lot of the stuff are not updated.i.e.: [URL] The date is still June 2006 According to DriverEasy they need to be updated: [URL] Other devices include the devices like these: [URL]First I tried to do the automatic update through device manager, but Windows insists that these are up to date.So then I went here: Intelïŋ― Driver Update Utility Ran the auto detection and installed everything it says I needed. These are still not updated.Then I grabbed the download via DriverEasy, and placed the Windows 7 version of these in a folder, then pointed to them. Update still say the current drivers are up to date.

I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit on an Intel Corei32100T processor on a Gigabyte H67A motherboard with 8gb ram, connected via HDMI to a Sony Bravia. No sound or video card as its all on the processor. I want to set up the system to record a line-in source for (1) my turntable and mixer, and (2) interface for my guitar and microphone. My device manager shows both Intel(R) display audio and Realtek HD audio. Clicking on the speaker icon in the notification area brings up the Intel display audio mixer with three sources, the Sony, system sounds and Firefox. I'm sure this is controlling the system audio output. No way to a recording mixer. Bringing up the Realtek audio manager still shows me no way to set recording levels. Since I'm planning to use the pc for recording LP to disc (on my second thousand, now, switching from favorite old programs on an XP machine to the newly built system)and for live recording, properly setting up the basic sound paths in the system before setting up Audacity and Artist One from Presonus.
Is it possible to move my Windows 7 installation from the partition (both the Sys. Reserved & OS partitions) of one drive on one controller to the partition of another drive on a different controller, AND have it boot? I know "something" would have to altered, but I'm not sure "what" or "how". Is this even possible without going through a lot of hoops. Specifically I have an installation of W7x64 installed on the 1st partition of the master drive on a PATA controller. I want to move it to the 1st partition of the master drive on my SATA controller.
FROM PATA0 {sys reserved}{OS install}{data} TO SATA0 {sys reserved}{OS install}{data}
I also have another install on the 2nd partition of my SATA4 controller and want to move it to the 1st partition of my SATA0 controller
FROM SATA4 {data}{sys reserved}{OS install} TO SATA0 {sys reserved}{OS install}{data}
Previous OS on my Sony Vaio Notebook was Windows Vista, since Windows7 64bits was installed my graphic driver doesn't work and Sony as well as Vaio don't have updates for driver. Microsoft can't recognize driver to update.

When I install a game in Windows 7 and Windows recognizes it it dumps the game's shortcut in the Game folder of the Start Menu. That wouldn't be a problem except Windows 7 prevents the game from creating the shortcuts it would have created had the operating system not been Windows 7- things like the game's Read Me, Uninstaller & Configuration options.
