I am using Windows 7 Ultimate and I also have IE 9. I go to news websites and I am unble to view the video feeds from their websites. Is this possibly an intenet option setting that I need to adjust?
View 3 RepliesIt got to the point where I restored my computer to factory settings. Everything worked until I used Windows Update. However, I just uninstalled them and tried and I couldn't view them this time so now I'm not sure if it really is because of Windows Update. I have yet to install an anti-virus as it was literally just yesterday I did this, so I know it's not an issue with an anti-virus. I cannot view any product images from the sites katespade.com, luckybrand.com, and claires.com. (was trying to do a little Christmas shopping, ha!) I noticed all of them have a zoom + and - feature.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been downloading pictures to Facebook, Walgreens, and Shutterfly for 3 years with no problems. All of a sudden I can not upload any pictures! I had no difficulties downloading them from my memory card to my computer and I can view them just fine. When I go to upload them it will let me select the pictures I want and start the process, but then just keep "loading" or "thinking" for hours if I would let it. It will not upload even one photo.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded K Lite Codec after reading that that's what I need to make Windows Media Player play .MOV files.
It didn't work. I still got a "Codec Needed" error.
So I searched online again, and found Quicktime Alternative 322, and although installing that "successfully" the software still won't play the files.
I have had a lot of trouble with Windows 7 putting drivers/ codecs in strange places, and having to go online and find laborious instructions of how to locate them and transfer them to the correct location.
I am seriously wishing I had asked for an XP machine to be built. I have had to buy a new printer despite my old two working perfectly on my XP PC. Then it took two days to get my mobile phone's software working on Windows 7, and now to cap it all, I cannot watch any of the videos from my main Olympus camera, nor hear videos from my mobile phone.
Now, I want to make some more and I CAN NOT for the life of me do it anymore. I do have to admit that I searched for the right paths to get them right, but now, I can't get it anymore. Is anyone able to tell me how to make a favorite into an RSS feed?

If you wish to rename the feed in order to organize your Feeds. You must use the manage feeds option from the right click menu. After opening the manage feeds windows. Create a new folder and then move your RSS feeds to the new folder. If you have saved feeds, they will need to be moved as well before deleting the old RSS folder.
I must say this does not seem user friendly. I do hope they fix this. Simply renaming the RSS feed from the right click menu should not break the RSS feed links.

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy computer did have BSOD problem since I've tried to add 2 GB of RAM on my Windows XP SP 3 on October 2011. BSOD came out after playing a game for 6-30 minutes (or game application crashed) or viewing a video (random occurence). After getting no results of all to cure BSOD, I decided to change my OS to Windows 7 and I still got this problem. I've tried to bring my CPU to service center with no luck at all.
Here, I attached my recent dump and perfmon report with it. Although a few hours before I post this thread, I cleaned earlier dumps with CCleaner. I'll be sure to attach new dump and report if another BSOD occurs. And let me know if my attached files get corrupted or cannot be read. Attachment 214777 Attachment 214778
Oh yeah, another thing, my antivirus scanner detected BSOD & System File Collection app as a virus, so I ignored it.

I have an MS windows 7 64 bit system. I used CCleaner to clean the registry but did not backup the changes. I have lost my media and video thumbnail view for my movie files with an avi extension. I use both winamp and a VLC media player to play my movies and tv programs.Could the registry cleaning have changed something and is there a way to get the thumbnails back?

I seem to be unable to view some of the videos on the windows 7 laptop but able to view those same videos on vista laptop. the error is normally "200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip". Is it a settings problem as both of my laptops are installed with the same version of flash players.
I have tried to uninstall the flash player and re-install the flash player but the error still persist.

It appears that the "Thumbnails" (picture) option has been eliminated from the video files "View" menu options, so I can no longer see a pictorial snapshot of the contents of my video files.
Is this option completely eliminated or is there something I can do to retrieve this feature for Windows 7?
I am having a problem downloading the latest version of flash player. It appears to download but afterward when I try to play something that requires flashplayer I get the "you must download the latest version of flash player to view this video".

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy brother gave me a new motherboard last weekend and I had to reformat consequently, since then however I have been unable to view or access my netbook or network drive. Before reformatting I was running on Windows 7 ultimate x32 and I am now running on the same however in x64 instead. I know that my network is working as I can access my network drive through my netbook but I am unable to see my computer or netbook through both devices, but seen as my net-book was able to see my pc prior to reformatting I am pretty sure it is an issue with my computer. I have done all the usual checks through the network and sharing center to ensure that everything is shared correctly and that network discovery is turned on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new Sony SVT13112FXS - hard drive is a hybrid of 500 GB HDD and 32 GB SDD.I was attempting to reformat it to get all of the anti-virus stuff off, except when I tried to reformat no disks were shown in the reformat tool. It asked for drivers, so I assumed I'd need to install the SATA/chipset drivers. I downloaded them from the Sony website but it wouldn't allow me to install them (from a flash drive). Specifically the error is "No drives were found. Click load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation."In my troubleshooting I (stupidly) marked the wrong partition as active and got the dreaded "bootmgr is missing" upon restart. I attempted to repair using the windows 7 disk as a recovery tool and selected "startup repair" 3 times, but it still does not work.I am able to get into command prompt and I am assuming I can inactivate the (wrong) active partition there. However, when I go into DISKPART and type "list disk", all that shows up is my flash drive that I am attempting to install windows from - the computers hard drive does NOT show up here.I will also happily completely reformat instead of repairing, but I cannot do that since I can't get the disks to show up in the reformat tool.

Anyway, I tried running the command "sfc /snannow" in the command prompt (in admin mode) but to no avail even after I restarted the system. Also, I can no longer create a system restore point manually. Which when clicked "create a restore point", they will show me these errors.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy DVD drive suddenly stopped reading Movie DVDs. If I load data CD and data DVD it reads successfully. But when I load redbox or netflix dvd it does not read atall.
I tried changing the registry entries as described in this forum but no effect. I am stuck. Tried re-installing the device driver too but no effect. Still the same.
I'm having major problems playing HD video. This includes my own home videos (1440 x 1080 / 29 fps) and dual-layer DVDs. I can't use WM Player because it's useless, the picture looks like a moving oil-painting. I can't use VLC player because the audio cuts out every few seconds when I play either HD video files or a dual-layer DVD. I can't use GOM Player because the audio lags severely when I play HD video files and it squeezes my wide-screen videos into a square for some reason (it's okay with dual-layer DVDs though, thankfully). I can't use KM Player because it just won't start, no matter how many times I reinstall it.EDIT: The GOM Player audio lag is caused by the software playing the video at several times normal speed, but not speeding up the audio.
