May 29, 2012I have a windows 7 64bit laptop and a window vista 64bit laptop.
I seem to be unable to view some of the videos on the windows 7 laptop but able to view those same videos on vista laptop. the error is normally "200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip". Is it a settings problem as both of my laptops are installed with the same version of flash players.
I have tried to uninstall the flash player and re-install the flash player but the error still persist.

Jun 12, 2012my brother gave me a new motherboard last weekend and I had to reformat consequently, since then however I have been unable to view or access my netbook or network drive. Before reformatting I was running on Windows 7 ultimate x32 and I am now running on the same however in x64 instead. I know that my network is working as I can access my network drive through my netbook but I am unable to see my computer or netbook through both devices, but seen as my net-book was able to see my pc prior to reformatting I am pretty sure it is an issue with my computer. I have done all the usual checks through the network and sharing center to ensure that everything is shared correctly and that network discovery is turned on.

Sep 13, 2012I have a brand new Sony SVT13112FXS - hard drive is a hybrid of 500 GB HDD and 32 GB SDD.I was attempting to reformat it to get all of the anti-virus stuff off, except when I tried to reformat no disks were shown in the reformat tool. It asked for drivers, so I assumed I'd need to install the SATA/chipset drivers. I downloaded them from the Sony website but it wouldn't allow me to install them (from a flash drive). Specifically the error is "No drives were found. Click load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation."In my troubleshooting I (stupidly) marked the wrong partition as active and got the dreaded "bootmgr is missing" upon restart. I attempted to repair using the windows 7 disk as a recovery tool and selected "startup repair" 3 times, but it still does not work.I am able to get into command prompt and I am assuming I can inactivate the (wrong) active partition there. However, when I go into DISKPART and type "list disk", all that shows up is my flash drive that I am attempting to install windows from - the computers hard drive does NOT show up here.I will also happily completely reformat instead of repairing, but I cannot do that since I can't get the disks to show up in the reformat tool.

So I went to the series of iso files and extracted them to a new folder but 4 minutes later all the files were in just one big iso and when I tried to extract that, it said the archive couldn't be accessed. May 9, 2011I am running winows 7 ultimate 32bit as a server, i have the c: drive shared to all 13 users on the network. All 13 computers are running windows xp pro. The problem that I am having is this:When i open up the shared c: drive on a windows xp computer, and open a folder to view files, it only shows 122 out of the 227 files.when i open up the c: drive on the windwos 7 machine, i can see all 227 files.when i open up excel or word, and open a file that is stored on the windows 7 machine, it will open fine, but when i try and browse for the file that is stored on the windows 7 machine, it does not show it.now here is the interesting thing:when i open up the shared c: drive on another computer running windows 7, (not the server) i can see all 227 files and have no problems.i have multiple folders, ex: mypics2008, mypics2009, mypics2010, mypics2001, mydocs2000, mydocs2010, all shared off of the c: drive on the windows 7 server. this problem started a few weeks ago, i was able to see all the files in every shared folder off of the windows 7 server through all of the windows xp pr machines a month ago, and all of a sudden in the past few weeks, i am no longer able to see all of the files shared off of the server.i have rebuilt the index on the windows 7 server i have removed and redone ALL security, and sharing settings i have checked, rechecked and checked again all the file sharing settings I am stumped, and i consider myself knowledgable with computers.

It didn't work. I still got a "Codec Needed" error.
So I searched online again, and found Quicktime Alternative 322, and although installing that "successfully" the software still won't play the files.
I have had a lot of trouble with Windows 7 putting drivers/ codecs in strange places, and having to go online and find laborious instructions of how to locate them and transfer them to the correct location.
I am seriously wishing I had asked for an XP machine to be built. I have had to buy a new printer despite my old two working perfectly on my XP PC. Then it took two days to get my mobile phone's software working on Windows 7, and now to cap it all, I cannot watch any of the videos from my main Olympus camera, nor hear videos from my mobile phone.
