Windows 7 Single Click File & Folders?

I checked the files and folder property and found, double click is greyed out. Please let me know how to fix this issue. We want to have double click activated for all the win7 machines

Mar 11, 2011Like my title read, I can't open any folders in my Windows Explorer with a double click. It gives me the error message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." This also happens whenever I try to open any drives, such as C: drive. I can however run programs from Windows Explorer, and can right click, then choose open to open folders.
I have already done extensive searching on the subject, tried deleting autorun.ini files, tried some registry fixes, with no luck. I'm obviously running Windows 7, 32-bit, on a HP desktop.

Dec 10, 2012It is very strange. If I right click right now anywhere it will work. When I am in any game, however, it acts very strange. The right click sometimes does not register, and other times will be inconsistent.
For example, if I have to hold down the right button for me to eat a jelly bean, it will cancel mid hold, as if I had let go. This all started happening after an episode where I accidentally messed with sticky keys.

The desktop icons can't be used I can't click or select any icon, also right click of the mouse doesn't work. I can right click on the taskbar or in windows explorer but not on the desktop. Oct 6, 2011I my middle click function has stopped working on my mouse, at first I assumed it was a Chrome update and that I could no longer use it to "Open link in new tab" however it seems that it now does absolutely nothing and I am unable to reassign it. There was a nasty virus on it that I managed to get rid of, but now programs won't run unless I first right click and click "Run as Administrator". Shortcuts also won't work (I assume for the same reason.) Does anyone know of a fix for this so we don't have to constantly click "Run as Administrator"? By the way, there is only one user on the computer and it is an administrator.
