After Today's Windows Updates Hotkeys Are Not Working
Nov 8, 2011Basically, i used to be able to use my fast forward, pause/play, stop, and volume control buttons to control my itunes and the volume.now, the volume control does not show the bar on the screen that shows what level the volume is at when it's changing volume, and my pause/play, fast forward, rewind, and stop buttons only work when itunes is the main window.it used to control itunes even when itunes was in the background.

I say this because I used to use launchy in my xp and my hotkey for starting that was alt+space but now I am using 7 and 7 has a better search index than xp so I dont see the point of having launchy again.
Windows Explorer Stops Working When I Right Click Inside Recycle Bin
Feb 16, 2013I have Windows 7 Home Premium edition. Whenever I go into the Recycle Bin to permanently delete files, when I right click, it freezes up and gives me the message "Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working" then it proceeds to "Windows Explorer Is Restarting" Now I can delete files just fine when I'm on the desktop and simply right click, and choose Empty Recycle bin off of the Recycle Bin icon.

I have already tried:
-deleted .reg files.
-disable enable context files with autoruns or shellexview
-replace explorer.exe
-replace shell32.dll
-deleted broken .reg files with Ccleaner.exe

Dec 10, 2012It is very strange. If I right click right now anywhere it will work. When I am in any game, however, it acts very strange. The right click sometimes does not register, and other times will be inconsistent.
For example, if I have to hold down the right button for me to eat a jelly bean, it will cancel mid hold, as if I had let go. This all started happening after an episode where I accidentally messed with sticky keys.

Apr 30, 2012I did a clean install of Win 7 32bit last week and I am facing this issue once in a while. The desktop icons can't be used I can't click or select any icon, also right click of the mouse doesn't work. I can right click on the taskbar or in windows explorer but not on the desktop. Even show desktop icon doesn't work when the above happens. There is no specific time when this happens or it doesn't happen after running a particular program so I can't figure out what is the reason for this random fault.

Oct 6, 2011I my middle click function has stopped working on my mouse, at first I assumed it was a Chrome update and that I could no longer use it to "Open link in new tab" however it seems that it now does absolutely nothing and I am unable to reassign it. My fn button is broken so i always used 'sound volume hotkeys' program to change the volume by using the win button + up/down arrow key to change the volume on my laptop with xp. But now when i click the win + arrow button it just minimises/maximises whatever window im looking at.
In a perfect world id like to remove the windows hotkeys so i can get that program to work, so just wondering if its possible.

Jul 25, 2009as I have a ntb without buttons for controlling sound volume, I have installed a program called Sound volume hotkeys - it allows to control volume with hotkeys: WIN + UP (resp. DOWN). The problem is that Win 7 has "occupied" the hotkeys, is there a way how to change it? I do not need the function by Win 7 (maximize × restore/minimize) at all.

Sep 17, 2011Windows 7 synaptics left click acts like right click after reboot and the right click doesn't work at all. I've downloaded the most recent driver & searched for a solution online but haven't found anyone who has fixed this issue. Did everyone just give up or am I not patient enough & haven't dug deep enough. If I use a USB mouse there are no problems it just seems to be with the built-in after I've used the USB mouse.
