is there anyone to use network load balancing on windows 7 without using expensive NLB modem. People told me to use VMware with Kerio but is there anyway to use it on win 7 w/o the 2 above and work with IDM + utorrent, since i got 2 fibre internet connection?

I know there are heaps of topics out there, but they all seem to saying things which I dont understand and dont apply to me. All I need to do is to enable certain applications use connection 1 and the rest use connection 2. How do i do that?

What everybody wants is to sum their internet links, what I want is kinda different...I have two Internet links here, one 10Mbit cable and other 4Mbit ADSL.What I want is a way to make some programs use the 10Mbit and others use the 4Mbit.For example, force all the games to use the 4Mbit link, uTorrent and Firefox to 10Mbit link.

I figured something just happened to the drivers (happened before) so i'd just reinstall them...except this time I'm hit with:
Code :This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
I have tried everything short of a full restore. I tried downloading the drivers straight from Sony, just the driver files for Atheros, I can't do a restore point since I don't have any from before the problem. I have searched everywhere for a working solution but haven't found anything yet. I would like to avoid sending it in.....it's still under warranty but I don't have a Sony store near me and I'm gonna be going out of town in a couple weeks..
In Control Panel, when I click Network & Sharing Center, it freezes and does not recover. I am logged in as Administrator. I have no Internet connection; the taskbar icon for Wireless is greyed out.

When I enter the IP address for my Router it just sits there and then comes up with a Page Load Error? this happens also in IE8. I have turned OFF the firewall, all the settings are the same in both machines, except the IP adress of course .
I've just installed the Windows 7 RC on my lab-pc. It's a 2,4GHz Celeron, 1GB DDR-RAM, everything installed on some old 160GB PATA-HDD. Two hi-speed USB Keys are used for ReadyBoost (love that feature).
Everything works like a charm, except the file transfer from my WXP machine.
I mount the SMB share (which is on my WXP) from the Windows 7 machine and start to copy some big files. Transfer speed is ~1MB/sec on 10MBit, ~5MB/sec on 100MBit and ~11MB/sec on 1GBit. When I start file transfer the CPU load pops up to 50% while 10MBit is active, for 100 and 1000MBit it jumps to 100% and stays there until the transfer is over.
Since I read about IRQ issues I tried some NICs. An onboard SiS-900, an RTL8139 based PCI card and an Intel Pro 1000/MT Desktop adapter. I thought that - at last - the Intel NIC should stop my problems as it comes with IRQ moderation and TCP/UDP checksum offload.
None of these 3 NICs solved my problem.
All these NICs run on the driver Windows 7 has found for them. None of the vendors had a special driver for me.
What I tried to do in addition:
- disable Windows 7 firewall
- disable IPv6
- disable QoS
- tried another CAT5e cable
- restart the switch (Netgear GS108)
- hit the whole machine
Note of the above worked.
I just hope you just have an idea left for me. Just ask if I missed out some details.
I have a problem on my iMac 2011 (20go ram) under windows7.Whan I start my computer all is fine. I dont know if this is posted in the right area but I'm so desperate to get my laptop working its unreal. First it started off with my laptop crashing, I had totally forgot it needed to do a windows update and turned off my laptop in hopes that it would work properly. After that my laptop has not been working. The machine turns on and gives me two options. Start windows normally or do a repair. Upon starting windows normally, it loads so far before sending me back to the two options of start windows normally or repair. On the second time I clicked repair. My laptop then goes so far before presenting me with a blue screen that is usually the screen where my accounts are. The cursor still moves but it loads no further even after leaving it an hour. I decided to make a repair disk, hoping that the problem was because of windows. the disk loads, gives me a choice on the keyboard language then does nothing. I honestly have no idea what to do, I want to keep all the files safe on my computer as I havent backed them up and I have worked so hard on the projects.

I have a home network with 2 laptops and 1 desktop. The desktop I use as a "file server" in that all work done on the laptops is stored to the desktop. The desktop computer name is HAL. One laptop is fine and sees the network. The other just stopped seeing it; rebooted the laptop; rebooted HAL; did a number of refreshes without any luck. I opened EXCEL and found a worksheet that was listed that I knew was saved on HAL. Was able to open the file and when I tried the SAVE AS I could navigate through all of HAL just as normal. Went to Windows Explorer and still no HAL listed as a COMPUTER on the NETWORK. I have a internet connection so I know I am making it to the router at least. And when I check NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER it shows an active home network. The laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 Build 7601.
My problem is windows 7 hangs and freeze when access 2003 server Enterprise edition. This is not a small network, one of the biggest network.i have doubt on individual users on domain. before 2 months we had department wise users mean, for example Accounts@domainname.local. But after we created the individual users like john@domainname.local to all users. this is i believe the cause of problem. When we acess the server via the software it freezed for 5 seconds and then repeat to normal state. And after some time it hangs for 2 minutes.

(I don't know all the specs to her machine) Windows will not load.Gives me two options at start up, normal or Repair start up, I have tried.both, normal brings me back to the same menu, so then I check repair, itruns through to the windows loading, then goes to a blank screen with the cursor.When she got this pc I created 4 recovery discs from the start menu the.4th one I have labelled Recovery Environment 64 bit. I have made sure there is enough disk space, updated the drivers & run cCleaner registry check - all to no avail.I have also explored the Microsoft suggestions for the failure to load. It would appear that it might be caused by the Background Intelligent Transfer Service as this doesn't start. It won't start if you access it manually through the control panel either.

I was thinking about buying two different hard drives, one smaller one (250GB or smaller) and one bigger (maybe 2TB). I would use the smaller hard drive to only load the operating system on and the other hard drive would be used to load all my programs, files, emails and such on.I'm thinking that by having the OS only on one drive it would be easier to recover from should I have another hard drive failure on the drive the OS is loaded on. Same for the programs, files etc.. should that disk develop a problem down the road it would make it much easier to recover from if everything was on a separate disk than the OS?I eventually plan on building a small server for my home network that would be used to run a network that consists of 1 server, 2 Pc's , 1 laptop, 2 Netbooks, several smart phones and 1 centralized laser printer that everyone can print from.

View 7 Replies View Relatedcant get windows to load normally, nor in safe mode and i cant even get into system restore, it loads then there is a quick blue screen and then restarts on its own.... i have a 1TB HD in 4 partitions i can only see the C drive listed and it says 132 out of 931 free which makes sense with all the data on all 4 parts......i took the HD and used an enclosure but the i cant get the D to recognize anywhere......i was thinking maybe using the Combo fix on the boot up might work??
View 8 Replies View RelatedI was turning on my laptop but realised i had to be somewhere else at that time and needed to leave so in a silly rush i just as it was loading i held the power button so it shut down (I know that is a terrible thing to do but was in a rush and wasnt thinking clearly) and now when i turn it on it load but it gets the screen that is all black with only the mouse cursor showing and stops there and does not load to the log in screen. Anyway to fix this without a fresh install as i have documents on there i really cant afford to lose.
