Ms Office Picture Manager Renaming?
Nov 16, 2011I downloaded a lot of pictures on to my computer and openned them in to picture manager. I renamed them and a bunch of the pictures were named the same thing. When I tried to find the picture that I named before it with the same name it was nowhere to be found. How do I go about finding the other pictures I have with the same name I have at least 5 pictures with the same names which is about a total of 20 lost pictures.

Oct 9, 2012I have a user who said she was in MicroSoft Picture manager and when she quit the program, it changed all of her desktop icons to look like the MicroSoft Picture Manager Icon. Except My Computer, My Network, icons. Does anyone know how that happened and how to put it backI logged into the computer as myself and the icons are okay. I also, went to C:\Users\"her Name"\desktop and the icons looks okay under that. I had her re-log in and the icons still look like MS Picture Manager.

Given the errors on the drive, I'm unable to image or clone it to the new drive as imaging will not complete.The laptop was given to this person. It has Office Enterprise 2007 installed. They don't have the install CDs. I am able to extract the product key with magic jellybean, but my copy of Office is home and student.Will I be able to install from my Office home and student 2007 CD and use their Office Enterprise product key? I know that there are different programs with Enterprise, but I think all they care about is Word and PowerPoint.

Oct 20, 2011Just started using a new workstation with Office 2010 installed by OEM. Everything worked fine for a few days, and then every time i attempt to open a Word file or Excel file i get the MS Office dialog box that states "please wait while windows configures Microsoft Office 2010". The dialog box stays visible for 30-45 seconds and then the program opens and works fine.
Ran a repair, four times, didn't fix it.
All of my research leads me to a solution of uninstalling and re-installing. I'm not buying that if everything worked fine for several days, that a bad install will make the program stop functioning properly.
I also noticed, while visiting help within outlook, that the product was still a trial version and not currently activated. I have entered the activation code numerous times with no luck.

Run Office setup again to repair the installation" PowerPoint- Splash screen flashes and nothing else happens
I have also tried going to install and clicking repair but it still doesn't work.

Nov 8, 2011I'm not sure what's going on so I'll quickly describe what I've been experiencing. First off, this a three month old computer. I don't use any P2P applications. I'm good at not clicking false links, etc. I'm up to date with Microsoft Updates and all of my software is up to date as well. I ran a virus scan and it came back completely clean. Sunday afternoon, I left my computer up with a bunch of windows open in Google Chrome. Everything was fine. I came back and no web pages would load. I disconnected my ethernet cable and plugged it back in. Everything was fine for a little while. Then everything started getting choppy. Programs were taking forever to open and once they did, the entire computer started lagging. For example, songs in iTunes would pause for about a half a second and jump right back in. It happened almost routinely, every 3-4 seconds. The mouse cursor was also jumping. I restarted and the same effects were observed. I can no longer open any MS Office products. This REALLY screws the computer up. I opened task manager and I can see Powerpoint, for example, running in the background and using about 100kb of memory. "End Process" does not even end the process. I tried using PSKill.exe to kill the process, but to no avail.
