File origin : Hard drive on this computer
Program location : "C:ProgramFiles(x86)CommonFilesInstallshieldUpdateServiceISUSPM.ex e"

I've set my sons log in on his PC to a 'standard ' user as he was going into the registry disabling cyberpatrol and so on. Now I'm getting it in the neck because he can't download programs games etc...how can I set up his standard user to download programs or at least to prompt so I can put a password in? I don't mind him downloading games, just don't want Cyberpatrol disabled. At present it just says something to the effect 'you require administrative rights to perform this task' but no option to log in as an administrator on his account.

As an administrator, I have User Account Control set to "always notify" in Windows 7, but one of my kids (standard user) can still install Google Chrome. Shouldn't this require the administrator password? Also, UAC does not seem to limit a standard user's ability to Uninstall Programs. Is there a way to restrict that?

how I can run a program, Core Temp.exe, on Windows 7 without having to manually enter the admin password and manually run it after logged in.I tried 3 ways:
1) Run as Admin Went to both the shortcut and the program location -> properties -> "Run as Admin" ---> didn't work Also checked "Run in Compatibility mode for windows 7" ---> didn't work
2) Task Scheduler Use Task Scheduler to run the program at startup---> didn't work run whenever any user logs in---> didn't work run whenever I log in ---> didn't work All of the above triggers at once ---> didn't work
3) Registry Editor Local Machine -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Run Made a string to run the program ---> didn't work All I want is this program to run whether I'm logged into any account. Specifically, my Limited Account so that I can monitor my CPU temperature and usage. It works after I run the program manually, this pops up "do you want the following program from an unknown publisher....", and enter in my admin password, but this is tiring.

The other day I had to access User Account Controls because I was having some problems with Itunes and when I tried to open the Configure User Account Controls panel, a blank window opened for about 10-20 seconds and then it closed on its own. This kept happening even after I had restarted the computer. Also, this is the only thing with which this happens. Everything else opens perfectly.
I've been looking around for a while now, in other forums and costumer support, and I couldn't find anyone with the same problem or any thread addresing it.
I have a Windows 7 Professional, 32bit and I was using the Administrator account when this happened (it is the only account in the computer).

have had this problem for a while now and any help would be greatly appreciated. Essentially I cannot install anything, as it requires User Account Control verification, but the password field for the admin pass does not show up, so the only option each time is to click 'No' and cancel the installation. I assume this is because there is no admin password set. I tried for a long while previously, I have tried to enter using safe mode and try and disable UAC, yet when doing so the UAC actually pops up in sade mode without the pass field again. I have also tried using Offline NT Registor and Password Editor to create a new pass for the admin, yet no luck as the admin afterwards doesn't require a pass nor does the pass field in the UAC show.

This Adobe Flash Player User Account Control popup has become extremely annoying, and I cannot seem to overcome it.
I allowed the computer initially to install Adobe Flash Player. It now regularly displays the User Account Control window popup asking: "Allow changes to yout computer? Adobe Flash Player Installer".
I have 'allowed it', and it still goes on. I have 'denied it' and it still goes on. I have uninstalled Flash Player and the same things happen.
Is this Bloody thing a CURSE, or is the remedy at my finger tips? I cannot open the snip tool to capture the User Account Control popup as snip will not open when popup is dispalyed.
This header is sometimes present:
This website wants to install the following ad-on: 'Adobe Flash Player Installer' from Adobe Syatems Inc'. If you trust teh website and the add-on and want to install it, click here...

So I am very familiar with windows 7 and stuff, and for obvious security reasons I don't want to use a an administrator account just to browse the net and do day to day activities like most people do and then wonder why they have malware. So I have installed some software from the administrator account that was originally created during install and then I changed that account to a standard user account and created a separate administrator privileged account named admin. All should be good right? When windows starts up now in the standard user account that I want to use most of the time I need to use my password for certain startup programs like core temp i.e. you have to verify you want to them to run using the administrative password. What if I don't want to do this? I just want them to run without the password? I tried going in and changing the permissions to allow full control for authenticated users and my standard user account but it still asks for a password on log on.

Whilst using my Acer laptop it crashed and went to 'startup repair'. The repair lasted roughly two hours but once it had finished and I had turned the laptop back on, the user account had become de-personalised and looked like a 'guest' account. My immediate reaction was to switch user but then it remained at the 'welcome' screen and wouldn't stop until after an hour I gave up and switched it off.It then wouldn't get past that screen on the numerous occasions I restarted the laptop after that.I have tried a startup repair after pressing f8 at start up and have tried loading in 'safe mode' and its other two variations and I still have the same problem. The startup repair this time detected no problems and I have now let it do a 'Windows Memory Diagnostic' check.

Ever since the last update of my Windows 7 system I have been experiencing problems with my user account. When I click on my account and enter the password, I get the message that the computer is "preparing the desktop" and afterward I see a neutral background and I get the message that I have been logged into a temporary account. In the beginning, I just had to restart my machine and I would still be correctly logged in to my own account after 2-3 attempts. However, yesterday it took me about 15 attempts before I finally logged in.

There is only one user on my computer - me. So is it possible to bypass the user system completely or would that require a full re-write of the filing system? Seems to me that I have little if any control over where files are stored. For instance, every time I download a file, it is stored in downloads by default. I then have to fish it out from this directory to save it where I want it saved.

I am using Windows 7 Pro 64x and apparently the default user account (Owner) that I use is not working correctly. Unless I have UAC set to Never Notify, I cannot open Control Panel or UAC again. I have created a second user account as Administrator and it works correctly.
I would like to know if there is any way to fix this problem short of a clean install of Windows. If not, is it possible to move all of my settings to the user account that works correctly and delete the one that does not.

I would appreciate any help identifying the cause of extremely slow log on times for a user account on our family laptop. The machine is running Windows 7 - 64-bit version, and currently has 3 users accounts 2 admin and 1 regular. The regular account has begun to experience log on times that last for minutes (The Welcome splash screen prior to log on screen), while the admin accounts have no problems. I have seen other posts regarding slow log on times, but I haven't seen those which address the issue for a specific user account.
