Program name: ISUSPM.exe
Publisher : Unknown
File origin : Hard drive on this computer
Program location : "C:ProgramFiles(x86)CommonFilesInstallshieldUpdateServiceISUSPM.ex e"

I've set my sons log in on his PC to a 'standard ' user as he was going into the registry disabling cyberpatrol and so on. Now I'm getting it in the neck because he can't download programs games etc...how can I set up his standard user to download programs or at least to prompt so I can put a password in? I don't mind him downloading games, just don't want Cyberpatrol disabled. At present it just says something to the effect 'you require administrative rights to perform this task' but no option to log in as an administrator on his account.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAs an administrator, I have User Account Control set to "always notify" in Windows 7, but one of my kids (standard user) can still install Google Chrome. Shouldn't this require the administrator password? Also, UAC does not seem to limit a standard user's ability to Uninstall Programs. Is there a way to restrict that?

View 3 Replies View Relatedhow I can run a program, Core Temp.exe, on Windows 7 without having to manually enter the admin password and manually run it after logged in.I tried 3 ways:
1) Run as Admin Went to both the shortcut and the program location -> properties -> "Run as Admin" ---> didn't work Also checked "Run in Compatibility mode for windows 7" ---> didn't work
2) Task Scheduler Use Task Scheduler to run the program at startup---> didn't work run whenever any user logs in---> didn't work run whenever I log in ---> didn't work All of the above triggers at once ---> didn't work
3) Registry Editor Local Machine -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Run Made a string to run the program ---> didn't work All I want is this program to run whether I'm logged into any account. Specifically, my Limited Account so that I can monitor my CPU temperature and usage. It works after I run the program manually, this pops up "do you want the following program from an unknown publisher....", and enter in my admin password, but this is tiring.
How to change a power user account to administrator account
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe other day I had to access User Account Controls because I was having some problems with Itunes and when I tried to open the Configure User Account Controls panel, a blank window opened for about 10-20 seconds and then it closed on its own. This kept happening even after I had restarted the computer. Also, this is the only thing with which this happens. Everything else opens perfectly.
I've been looking around for a while now, in other forums and costumer support, and I couldn't find anyone with the same problem or any thread addresing it.
I have a Windows 7 Professional, 32bit and I was using the Administrator account when this happened (it is the only account in the computer).
On the user account control panel it is asking for password for administrator but no box appears for it to be typed in and cannot remember password.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhave had this problem for a while now and any help would be greatly appreciated. Essentially I cannot install anything, as it requires User Account Control verification, but the password field for the admin pass does not show up, so the only option each time is to click 'No' and cancel the installation. I assume this is because there is no admin password set. I tried for a long while previously, I have tried to enter using safe mode and try and disable UAC, yet when doing so the UAC actually pops up in sade mode without the pass field again. I have also tried using Offline NT Registor and Password Editor to create a new pass for the admin, yet no luck as the admin afterwards doesn't require a pass nor does the pass field in the UAC show.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis Adobe Flash Player User Account Control popup has become extremely annoying, and I cannot seem to overcome it.
I allowed the computer initially to install Adobe Flash Player. It now regularly displays the User Account Control window popup asking: "Allow changes to yout computer? Adobe Flash Player Installer".
I have 'allowed it', and it still goes on. I have 'denied it' and it still goes on. I have uninstalled Flash Player and the same things happen.
Is this Bloody thing a CURSE, or is the remedy at my finger tips? I cannot open the snip tool to capture the User Account Control popup as snip will not open when popup is dispalyed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running windows 7 ultimate and am trying to install some software off of a secure server at a remote location to my hard drive. The install fails every time because the my user account (an administrator) does not have full write permissions to the program files directory. I have tried taking ownership of the directory, but I don't have permission to change it from TrustedInstaller.
I turned on the built in administrator account and logged in through that, but there is no difference in permission level. When I attempt to change the permission level I get the following error dialog box: An error occurred while applying security information to:
C:Program Files (x86)
Access is denied
Then the following: Unable to save permission changes on Program Files (x86)Access is denied. I've been fighting with this for three days now and I consider myself pretty adept at typical windows bs. Yes, my UAC is set all the way down. That was the first thing I turned off. I also tried shutting down virus protection and firewalls to no avail. Any help here would be awesome since none of the posts I've been able to find say what to do when the admin can't take control from TrustedInstaller.
I changed my user account name on Windows 7, and now the account is inaccessible. I have another account on the computer, but I cannot change the name back. Is there any way to make the account accessible again without re-installing Windows? If not, would a full back up from the other account back the data on the inaccessible account up as well as the other account's data?

There all always some files or folders that are not accessible. Unfortunately they are a lot. Also I tried everything while I removed the guest account but the problem still persist.

Changed User account name in Control Panel but the User folder in explorer remains the same. No option to Rename at rightclick. I notice in User Accounts it says the name change is for Welcome screen and Start Menu. Why can't we change the User folder name?Is there any option besides to delete account and start over? It is the only account and Admin. Will we lose anything other than files in User folders?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought an HP Pavilion floor demonstration computer from a general retailer. The salesman assured me that all previous user accounts and information had been removed and the computer restored to its factory configuration before I took delivery. However, when I boot it up from a cold (power off) start, I get an error saying that the password entered for user Kiosk is invalid. Kiosk is apparently the name of the default start up user account. My workaround is simply to switch users to the administrator account. The Kiosk account does not appear in the list of user accounts in the 'add or remove user accounts' tab in the control panel. The Kiosk file folder in the Users folder is empty. How can I change the default start up user account? The store did not create a password reset disk.
