I have installed amd usb audio filter sp46291 downloaded from the HP website for Windows 7 x32.I seem to have problems with the usb wireless Internet.The usb internet times out when pinging after few hours and the internet becomes unstable. Although my usb mouse and usb sound works fine. I have to then reinstall the usb composite devices in the device manager to fix the internet problem.
View 5 RepliesI have a Gateway AMD laptop running Win 7 Home Premium and it will not recognize a couple of my USB devices. After doing some research, I read that it can be caused by AMD's USB (Audio) Filter Driver and that I need to disable or uninstall the driver.
The driver does not appear anywhere in the Device Manager; but, I did find it in the C:/Program Files (x86)/AMD folder.
The problem I'm facing is that I cannot uninstall it. If I go to Control Panel and pull up the Programs, it does not appear there.
Can someone please tell me how I can uninstall this driver?

But there is only one thing that is reproducible: When both my audio driver and my network driver are enabled, and a sound is played, the sound infinitely stutters and windows totally freezes. (There is no BSOD, the screen and cursor just remain frozen). If either device/driver is enabled independently, the computer seems to work.

This information is found in the Device Manager, under "Network".The driver for the card was 5.30.x.y (I can't remember the specific version number, but I do remember it was 5.30.something.something). Upon navigating to the Dell webpage, I wanted to see if there were any drivers for the same wireless card that were more updated, to perhaps increase performance.I navigated to the page for my computer (Dell Latitude D830), here. That page is for my model laptop. You'll notice that, in the drop down for "Operating System", there is no option to select Windows 7.Regardless, I navigated to the driver under "Network", the Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini-Card, and downloaded it. It was version 5.60.188.1, from 11/9/2009. This is where my problem began. After installing the driver and rebooting, my internet speed instantly went to below 1 Mbps. I have no clue why installing a later wireless card driver would mess up my speed.
My only hypothesis is that the driver I downloaded is only compatible with Vista. Do I just re-download driver version 5.30.x.y or something to get it back? Why did it get so slow? How do I get my computer back to the download speed it was/should be?

I have a Dell Inspiron N5110, Intel core 3 processor, and Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit os. I have recently reinstalled windows 7 from the windows 8 os. I can't access my wireless internet, I can only get to the internet via hard wire. I have searched Dell and Intel for the network controller driver and the sm bus controller driver, but to no avail.

View 3 Replies View Relatedhow i can reinstall my main audio drivers so they stay installed and so i don't have to uninstall and reinstall them at every startup. it still says it's in use if i try to test it before reinstalling. to reinstall it i've been going to playback devices, right click properties, click properties on the new window, change settings on the next, last window click the driver tab and uninstall. then i go to device manager and scan for changes. it's really a pita DISREGARD THIS: ok so i've been trying to port audio from firefox to reaper + asio4all and found that i can do it with VAC. i first tried another program called virtual audio streaming but that didn't work. when i got VAC i uninstalled VAS first. since i've had VAC installed i can't listen to anything over my monitor's speakers (have computer hooked to monitor with hdmi). if i have "Digital Audio (hdmi)" set as the default audio device, the audio won't even start. for example if a start a movie in vlc and then realize there's no sound i can't just switch the default device to something else (usually can do this) i have to stop the video select a different device and start the video again. flash stuff online just won't play until i change the device. if i try to go to the properties of "Digital Audio (hdmi)" > advanced > and hit test it tells me the device is being used by another program. this was making me think that maybe it was because VAC was using that device to port the audio from windows or something. didn't really make complete sense but i uninstalled VAC, restarted my pc and it still does the same thing. i tried uninstalling the drivers (windows default drivers, the downloadable drivers IDT high def audio cause problems with other programs so i don't use them and would prefer not to) and restarting so they would reinstall but that did nothing.

At my wit's end on this one. After a system crash a couple of days ago I found that my audio and wireless were disabled. Tried to restart the services but got error 1053 with wireless and error 1068 with windows audio. Have done the following: Checked for any virus malware: Macafee AV, Malwarebytes, Spysweeper and Sptbot. Nothing found.Tried starting in services on many occasions. Same issue.Installed up to date drivers. Rolled back drivers to original versions. Same problem.Ran troubleshooter in windows 7. Received notices that the services were stopped but could not be fixed.Ran windows fixes from Microsoft site with the same result as W7 troubleshooter.Downloaded copies of dll files and replaced them in win/system 32. Same problem.Ran sfc /scannow found no issues. I have my ASUS backup disk(s) so I can install the OS again but I don't want to lose the software I have already installed.
Win 7 lacks a search filter in the search bar of windows explorer.The only way to search with filters is to find the keywords such as "kind: videos" etc. XP had a much better search than Win7

my mom's laptop is giving her trouble. she has no internet through the wifi. i plugged it up straight to the wifi router through an ethernet cable and internet came right up. however if i try to log in wirelessly it says there are no networks when there are. what do i need to do to hook up to the internet wirelessly for her.

The "Add a Search Filter" is grayed out.

I just got a new computer with Windows 7 64 bit and I cannot get a new filter to work with PSPx2 ultimate..Microsoft says it is compatible and I have installed all the dll files to both my SYSWos64 and System folders but it will still not show up in PSP. I installed it( Eye Candy 6 ) to a folder in the Corel program called plugins.

Current specs are:
Mobo: Asus Crosshair IV Formula
GPU: HD 5870
CPU: Phenom II X6 1055T
RAM: 4GB of Ripjaw somethingblah
I've tried one internal N network card, and 2-3 sticks. The current one I'm trying is a TP-Link TL-WN81N 300Mpbs N Network adapter. I've used two different routers. My PS3 & iPhone connect fine. My Xbox 360 and PSP both struggle, sometimes connecting but usually not.Wireless on this computer, the issue, connects to the network fine. But it won't enable a internet connection, I never get wireless internet. Every now and then it'll work fine like nothing is wrong and other times it'll be super slow but literally 99.5% of the time it will be connected but with no internet.
