The problem is my laptop/notebook always making the "click" sound (the sound that like you open a folder in windows) although I am not doing anything. When I turn off my laptop today, then I opened my laptop for the next day it making the same problem. I don't know how it's happened. I am using windows 7.
View 7 RepliesI had audio lagg in battlefield 3 so some guy told me to update my realtek HD audio driver and it will be fine So i did and after installation my speakers started making this weird anoying sound i can't stop it and in my realtek HD audio menager started saying that i've plugged in audio device and after that it says that i have unplugged my audio device but the point is i didn't plugged in anything and goes again and again.

At first it didn't happen much and only happened when I was watching movies now it happens on everything I do about 4 times a day. sometimes it goes back to normal but then other times I have to press the power button and turn it off. I checked the fan and the fan seems to be fine. And I don't have a virus I scan the computer once a week.

This freezes only happens when i turn on the computer for the firsts time of the day, it happens like 5-10 times and then he starts working correctly for the rest of the day, i don't have a clue what is happening, do i need to format my computer?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWell i was playing a game i think it overheated im not sure cause its like over 100+ and i was playing games. Anyway there was a screen that was a bunch of colors i think mostly purple or pink but whatever. So i shut down my computer and when i turn it on it makes a buzzing noise for like a minute. I cleaned the inside of the computer all the dust out from the fans and all that but it still makes the sound. Also after the buzzing sound it turns off then back on then a light buzzing sound for a bout 4 or 5 mins then i think its gone. Its either that or because i turn on my modem then turn on my computer a second later.(i dont usually do that).

I loaded softwares meant for Win XP like Guitar FX Box 2.6. But I am unable to set it up properly. It does not seem to independently capture the mic/line in as host OS keeps on playing the input sound in the background. There are issued of unable to select WDM streaming (getting error opening input device). A few days ago, I noticed that my laptop has become incredibly slow (the system will hang sometimes, and continue as per normal after a while), and this coincided with my laptop beginning to make this weird, sharp beeping sound. At first I did not pay much attention to it, but later this was joined by several BSODs, and my laptop became even slower (games that usually did not lag was now hanging halfway through, and continuing as per normal after a lengthy period of 1 minute or so). I tried to find the origin of the noise, and I think it came from my Internal hard drive sector, and thus decided to open the sector up (in hindsight I probably should not have). After I replaced it, without doing much (just doing the usual IT-amateur stuff, wiping it and blowing it a few times), my situation has now worsened to the point that startup takes a much longer time, and finally now it hangs at the "Starting Windows" screen, but without the Windows 7 logo showing, and my screen later turns black.

All sound comes out digitized when loading a new page.Is there a way to stop this from happening while listening to music or course material without gong back to analog?Can I have my digital CD quality and enjoy it too!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI put in a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (PCIe), installed the latest driver from Creative, found here: Creative Worldwide Support (1.04.0000, released 30th June, 2009), and it seems that whenever I click things that make noise (a good example being the volume slider in the system tray), one of my speakers (which one being somewhat random) makes a fairly loud *popping* noise. It also does this when I press a button on the keyboard that makes noise (such as when I press the left arrow in the Find box in Chrome when it's empty).

This can be resolved by right clicking on a blank spot in the program I am running. This has happened in Windows Explorer, Lord of the Rings Online, or even on the desktop. I have tried two different mice, re-installed the drivers for both, updated the video drivers.....everything I could think of short of using a restore point. The only software change has been the latest Windows updates. I am running Win7 Home Premium on a laptop. The two mice I have tried have been a MS mouse and a Logitech one.

I've downloaded the most recent driver & searched for a solution online but haven't found anyone who has fixed this issue. Did everyone just give up or am I not patient enough & haven't dug deep enough. If I use a USB mouse there are no problems it just seems to be with the built-in after I've used the USB mouse.

I have 'checked' "shoe disabled" and "show disconnected" in those menus. [code] I use my HD TV as my primary monitor for gaming, so having sound through laptop speakers and not TV is quite annoying.Perhaps my only solution is another sound card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have hp dv1738od and have upgraded to Windows 7, previously Windows XP. Everything seem to be working ok except, for the sound. Window 7 automatically installed the driver, and said the sound card was working properly. But there was no sound through speaker.
I removed the driver and reinstall the driver that I got from HP website that work for Window Vista. Installation went through with no problem and Device manager indicated no isssue on sound driver. However there was still no sound coming out from the speaker, only through headphone jack.
I read tons of forums, and some has suggested that it may be the jack connection. I tried plugging in and out numerous time, and that did not solve the issue. Sound could be heard for like a sec, when headphone was being plugged out but it goes away quickly. To determine if it was hardware or software issue, i reinstalled Window XP and there was sound through speaker. So for sure it is not the speaker issue.
