Windows 7, Corel Draw 9 Support Message Won't Go Away
Apr 7, 2011
I have been using Windows 7 Home & Corel Draw 9 for months with out any problems. Now the Windows help and support pop up won't go away so I can't use CD 9. The message is: "Why can't I get Help from this program? The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Help format. For more information, go to the Microsoft Help and Support website."how to get rid of this and regain use of CD 9?
I cannot load Corel Ulead Movie Factory 6 plus on Windows 7 to my brand new laptop (ASUS n53sn, core i7 2.9 ghz,8 g ram, windows 7 home premium, 64 bit, usb 3, full hd etc). The computer does not even recognize the disc. Other computers wwith XP etc will open it but not windows 7. I don't want to particularly want to buy another movie editing system (unless you have a good alternative that will work on W7)
I have been using CorelPrint HousePhoto House Ver.5.0, which is great for editing photos and any kind of picture under Windows XP. It does not work with Windows7.There is something like it from Corel at a reasonable price $ 39.99, called Paint Shop Photo Express 2010; tried the free evaluation, but it has a limited set of tools for editing, far less than Corel Photo House or Corel Photo-Paint. As an example, the clone tool is very ackward to use.

I'm trying to play a blueray disc on my Sony Vaio VPCF22M0E/B Windows 7 laptop. First of all, when I try to open Corel WinDVD currently version 10.0.5.800 I receive the message from LogicLayer with WinDVD information service is not yet ready. Please try again lateSo I went on the Sony website to download the latest drivers, WinDVD BD - 10.0.6.162 here-ony : VPCF22M0E/B updates | Download updates for VPCF22M0E/BThen when I try to install the upgrade I get the following message from 'Update Module' - InstallShield Wizard-This upgrade patch can't apply to your version of WinDVD. Setup will now abort
I've had a problem staring up diablo 2. When I do I get a error 22 (direct draw failed to initialize). I've tried this in every compatibility mode and with all other compatibility settings such as 256 colour mode. Windows XP mode gives the same errorDiablo's video tester informs me that no compatible video modes are available (directdraw, direct3d and 3dfxglide).
I used to play Runaway in Vista but it did'nt open and it keeps me saying that "Error Starting DirectDraw" , but works fine in XP. Now if I play it in Windows 7 could it play. (I think it won't because Vista & 7 kernel is same. )
How do you activate the direct draw accelerator for dell n5010 windows 7 core i5 w/ 4gb RAM laptop? i bought this laptop few days ago and the 3d is not working.
I have an Intel I5 Ivy Bridge CPU, Win 7 64-bit Home Premium OS, 16Gb RAM and Nvidia GTX 550 TI graphics board with 1 Gb DDR5 memory. I run two real-time stock charting/trading programs on two monitors.
My objectives are to improve screen re-draw time and to decrease Windows' hard disk access. While there are other alternatives to consider, I'd like to invite the community to offer thoughts on two questions:
1. How to increase Window's RAM usage for paging/caching : The System Monitoring tools are showing that RAM usage is only about 30% of the 16Gb installed while Windows' hard drive caching is continuously busy. If there is a tweak to increase RAM usage, I would expand RAM memory to 32Gb.
2. Otherwise, I might install a 120 Gb Solid State Drive. Then, the question is whether using the SSD for the OS or as the cache drive as per Intel Rapid Storage
2) Can I use windows 64 bit with 4 modules of ddr3?
3) Can windows 7 64 bit configure 32 bit memory channels?
4) Can I expect windows 7 64 bit to configure 128 bit width memory on dual channels 4 modules, or 256 bit width on dual channel 4 modules? (32 bit x 4 ddr3 modules)
5) Do I need to get a windows 7 64 bit + 32 bit OS package to use both 32 bit and 64 bit width memory configure?
7) Can windows run in 64 bit mode while use 32 bit architecture?
8) Can windows 7 64 bit be restricted to 32 bit when needed? or will I need a package that has suport for both 32 bit and 64 bit?
I'm asking because most all games I check on play with 32 bit os and only need 64 bit for DX11 graphics. I think one OS that can run both 32 and 64 bit with a click or switch users could be what I am looking for.
Windows 7 came with no A2DP support and MS asked bluetooth hardware manufacturer to add this feature in driver upgrade. All bluetooth hardware on laptop where most of the time we need A2DP are made by Broadcomm (widcomm software), Toshiba or CSR. The last 2 manufacturer seem to have A2DP in Vista which should work in W7 but for Broadcomm nothing around.
With new builds appearing almost weekly & the RTM just around the corner, i thought i'd ceate a poll just to get a general view of how people will go about accuiring the RTM when it hits the shelves.
I boght a soeaker 5.1 channel and I found later after 3 weeks of trying to connect it with my win 7-64 is there was no SPDIF port. However, I will post pic for my pc and my TV and the speaker so you can tell me how I connect them and if I need to buy adapterThis is my TV it is Sceptre 32 LEDI am using HDMI Now this is my Speaker from Acoustic AA 5102This came with bad manual, it is only says were it is says DVD audio input, I should connect it to my DVD. I do not have DVD, and also for the two top AUX input its says that for PC. This is my PC, I am using gig 990fxa-ud5 and it is supporting 5.1
For now I want to say some thing, when I use this caple ( I have 3 oh this and i connect it ith my pc were Green and Orange and Black) from my speaker to my PC( in the speaker were its says AUX audio input L and R)I can go and set up my speaker to 5.1 so I can hear all the speaker work but, they all the same I dont feel any different. However, if I went to my PC audie settieng to check if I am using 5.1, I see I am using 2.1 but still the sounds come from all the speaker because of the speaker itself can change the audio but as I said this is not a 5.1 it is 2.1 because when I test it from my PC for 5.1 I only I can hear the right and left work. WhenI do the test and my right and left works as if the pc telling me, my speakers all of them work as if they are just right and left. So. since my speaker do not have SPDIF is there is a way to make it work ? I do not want to buy a DVD just to connect my speaker to it and then from the DVD to my TV.
