2) Can I use windows 64 bit with 4 modules of ddr3?
3) Can windows 7 64 bit configure 32 bit memory channels?
4) Can I expect windows 7 64 bit to configure 128 bit width memory on dual channels 4 modules, or 256 bit width on dual channel 4 modules? (32 bit x 4 ddr3 modules)
5) Do I need to get a windows 7 64 bit + 32 bit OS package to use both 32 bit and 64 bit width memory configure?
7) Can windows run in 64 bit mode while use 32 bit architecture?
8) Can windows 7 64 bit be restricted to 32 bit when needed? or will I need a package that has suport for both 32 bit and 64 bit?
I'm asking because most all games I check on play with 32 bit os and only need 64 bit for DX11 graphics. I think one OS that can run both 32 and 64 bit with a click or switch users could be what I am looking for.
Windows 7 came with no A2DP support and MS asked bluetooth hardware manufacturer to add this feature in driver upgrade. All bluetooth hardware on laptop where most of the time we need A2DP are made by Broadcomm (widcomm software), Toshiba or CSR. The last 2 manufacturer seem to have A2DP in Vista which should work in W7 but for Broadcomm nothing around.
With new builds appearing almost weekly & the RTM just around the corner, i thought i'd ceate a poll just to get a general view of how people will go about accuiring the RTM when it hits the shelves.
I boght a soeaker 5.1 channel and I found later after 3 weeks of trying to connect it with my win 7-64 is there was no SPDIF port. However, I will post pic for my pc and my TV and the speaker so you can tell me how I connect them and if I need to buy adapterThis is my TV it is Sceptre 32 LEDI am using HDMI Now this is my Speaker from Acoustic AA 5102This came with bad manual, it is only says were it is says DVD audio input, I should connect it to my DVD. I do not have DVD, and also for the two top AUX input its says that for PC. This is my PC, I am using gig 990fxa-ud5 and it is supporting 5.1
For now I want to say some thing, when I use this caple ( I have 3 oh this and i connect it ith my pc were Green and Orange and Black) from my speaker to my PC( in the speaker were its says AUX audio input L and R)I can go and set up my speaker to 5.1 so I can hear all the speaker work but, they all the same I dont feel any different. However, if I went to my PC audie settieng to check if I am using 5.1, I see I am using 2.1 but still the sounds come from all the speaker because of the speaker itself can change the audio but as I said this is not a 5.1 it is 2.1 because when I test it from my PC for 5.1 I only I can hear the right and left work. WhenI do the test and my right and left works as if the pc telling me, my speakers all of them work as if they are just right and left. So. since my speaker do not have SPDIF is there is a way to make it work ? I do not want to buy a DVD just to connect my speaker to it and then from the DVD to my TV.

I bought Windows 7 from Amazon.com and when I called up Microsoft for support they told me that they don't support open windows 7 what ever that means. I'm in trouble with my monitor. I have one AOC 511Vwb LCD 15,6" Widescreen. The specs in portuguese:[URL] I've been using it... i don't know... for like 5 months, and it presented a couple of times an issue of not being recognized by my OS.
When it is recognized, i can set his native resolution to 1280x800 60Hz, but now the max resolution that i can get is 1280 x 720 and this resolution is very very weird on my screen.
So i tried to use it on two diferent notebooks, one using Windows 7 and one using Windows Vista and he worked perfectly only on the notebook with Vista.
And guess what, the monitor is "Vista Ready".
This problem happened before and solved by itself, and now passed 2 weeks and nothing to come back the way it should be. And since i've tried basicly everything i'm now "closed mind" and looking for new viewpoints.
I can't read my SDHC card on my pc with windows 7 64-bit ultimate but it is perfectly read on my friend's laptop with Windows 7. The card reader says it supports the SDHC cards.

Does Windows 7 support Hercules DualPix WebCam? I wrote to the manufacturers but their reply was vague and not helpful at all. Are there any drivers I can download so that my webcam works?
Does Win 7 XP Mode support devices as well as programs. In other words, I have a printer and scanner that have XP or Vista drivers, but no Win 7 drivers. Will XP Mode allow me to use them on a machine running Win 7?
I'm looking to buy a netbook, but i've read that windows 7 starter does not support DVD playback. does this mean /only/ that I cannot play movies, but that I can use an external DVD drive? For example, which of the following can windows 7 starter do:
1. Read DVD-Rs from an external DVD drive? 2. Burn DVD-Rs using an external DVD burner drive?
I have an HP AIO touchscreen computer that comes preloaded with win7 pro and works fine. It also has a vga in, so i can plug it in as a secondary monitor on my other computer, but touchscreen doesnt work when i do. I called HP and asked for the touchscreen driver (some touchscreens have special drivers), but they had no clue of anything like that. I thought WiN7 was supposed to come preloaded with it, but if i look for "tablet" settings in my computer, its just not there, even though i see it on my AIO. I dont get it, where is the driver for touch? And will touchscreen still work plugged in as a VGA?
I have been using Windows 7 Home & Corel Draw 9 for months with out any problems. Now the Windows help and support pop up won't go away so I can't use CD 9. The message is: "Why can't I get Help from this program? The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Help format. For more information, go to the Microsoft Help and Support website."how to get rid of this and regain use of CD 9?
I purchased a Dell XPS 8300 almost 1 year ago.The last couple months I have had boot issues when I turn the pc on.All hardware tests (since I purchased the pc have passed with no problems). The boot issues are where all the icon's for the short cuts do not load and or the icon to show I am connected to the internet does not load properly. If I try to do alt/control/delete I cannot access anything. Then in most cases if I do a hard re-boot,the computer boots properly.Today was the killer. My wife turned on the pc and she got a blank screen. She then attempted a hard re-boot and for over 3 hr's it showed "loading game" on the middle of the screen. When I came home for lunch,my wife was on the phone with Dell. After they had her do a hard re-boot,the computer booted properly (after the usual "start windows normally" option came up. The "tech" connected on the pc and basically did all the things I could think of (i.e. hardware test to really check the hard drive etc.)When the "tech" could not fiqure out any other issue,he said that we will need to re-set to factory settings and that they are sending us a usb key to do that. In his judgement, there is a problem with the install of Windows 7 and that is the only thing that they can figure out is the problem. Outside of the "booting issues" the pc has worked great and I have had no other problems.
I am not a "techy",but I am also computer literate learning how to do basic things from watching my friends and learning how to access things on Windows to do basic repair. Long and short, does that seem like my only alternative?..I did make the recovery discs, still have the driver discs. I have re-installed Windows before (when I upgraded my Laptop and other desk top to Windows 7) and it is painful to make sure I made copies of everything I want to back-up,which I usually do and re-install all my softwear.
how to stop Help and Support from automatically running when starting windows 7. I have 3 Windows 7 systems and it is only happening on one of them. Checked all the regular locations like startup and msconfig startup items.
