I have an Acer computer that the Wan miniports either were corrupted or missing. Is there web site to go to to download these drivers or do I have to reload Windows 7 or purchase a new nic card?
View 2 Repliesi have just installed the beta version of 7 and yes it looks awsome(well done microsoft ) but the problem i am having is i cannot get on the net my mini port drivers will not install have tryed the ones on the disk supplyed and the latest ones of the site but still no joy any advice plz doi need special ones?? Everything else on pc is fine grapix card sound card ect.

However, this message appears: "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now." The problem is that I cannot find the Intel 5 Series 4 Port SATA AHCI Controller drivers for Windows 7 64-Bit to put on a floppy or USB drive. I've combed the Sony website and Google and the only Intel 5 Series 4 Port SATA AHCI Controller Drivers that can be placed on a floppy or USB are for Windows XP. Without the TXTSETUP.OEM, I'm dead in the water! The 64-Bit drivers (INDOTH-00215023-0042.EXE) are for an already installed Windows 7. BTW guys, the the BIOS settings on this laptop is as anemic as it gets, so there is really no way to optimize there..

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter my computer stopped being able to print to my printer wirelessly (the printer isn't a wireless printer, but is wired to a wireless print server), I deleted the printer and tried to reinstall via the Add Printer Wizard. The printer wizard sees the printer on the network, but when I select it to install, it can't find the TCP/IP port and installation fails. How can this be?
I *can* print from this computer to the printer when connected directly via USB, and other computers can print to that printer wirelessly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI did a windows 7 clean install on my HP Mini 210 4051 nr as part of creating a dual boot with Ubuntu. In Linux the internet works fine, but in Windows 7 it does not. In the device manager I see yellow flags over the ethernet and network controllers. Code 28 (My model does have an ethernet port).
Because the machine cannot connect, I downloaded all the related drivers (everything from the network tab) from the HP website for my model with another computer and then put them all in a folder on the Mini's desktop via USB. When I try to install the drivers through the device manager, and direct it to that folder, it says it finds nothing usable.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been searching for the last week for two drivers that are missing in device manager.Marvell 91xx Config ATA device + USB controller Both are under "other devices" in device manager I need the usb ports to be working obviously. right now i can plug a usb key into my monitor and use it but when i plug in my zune hd or droid x is charges them but doesn't show any connection on the device or computer.When i plug either device into the tower it shuts the device down and i have to restart. Device manager can't find the drivers and i dont really know where else to look. I have googled every variation of driver downloads and nothing has worked when i installed them through device manager.

I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64, and Windows detects a Samsung 4828FN 3in1 printer and a Canon LIDE 80 scanner in "Devices & Printers" but appears to be unable to find drivers. I downloaded & installed Win 7 drivers from both mfg sites, but neither appears in their appropriate windows when called up. The scanner on the printer works and saves to files, so I know the USB connections are working. Canon Toolbox Settings cannot detect.
Of course the HP 1000 printer has no Win 7 drivers to download, so that one does not work either,
Also, when I try and select new printers from a "Print" drop-down menu, I get a message "The Active Directory Domain Sevices is Currently Unavailable"
Anyone have suggestions?
I built a brand new PC and installed XP on it fine. I want to give Windows 7 a shot - but I cannot get it installed.When I boot the windows 7 loader loads fine and stars the process, I get the nice blue picture background that says Loading - then I get this error 1 2..It is a Samsung Drive, model TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C - I cannot find drivers for it I think they are generic but I can find firmware and have installed the latest versions.
