I m using hp envy dv4-5205tx running windows 8(came with it when i bought the laptop)I m having trouble running games in windows 8 and prefer running windows 7..So, before doing anything, i tried to find all the drivers needed for my laptop in the official hp site, and I saw that only drivers for windows 8 available for my model since its a new model.I tried to find the drivers manually, but scared that it might be incompatible with my laptop model. But i seriously want to reformat to windows 7.
I've just built my pc and everything is up and running and all that is left is installing the drivers and windows 7. The problem is that when I try to install windows 7 it doesnt find anything but my BIOS can recognize the hard drive. My motherboard is gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3

I have just placed a 2nd hand mobo (ASRock M3A770DE) into my pc. It'ts running win 7 ultimate, all h/w is detected ok apart from the integrated network card, therefore i cannot connect to the router and onto the internet. Since Windows 7 is not auto-detecting the integrated NIC, is their a file on the Windows 7 disk i can point it to when i manually try to install it?On a separate note i can connect to the net via my vaio, in case you can suggest where i can d/l a file from.
I bought a new headset. I made it discoverable, Windows found it, but could not find the drivers. I have scoured the internet with no avail. I don't know the company that makes it because its a cheap one, it DOES work with my android so I think it's just a Windows problem. I connected my Casio LK-215 via USB. Widndows won't find drivers automatically so i tried to get ones from Casio but they aren't for 64 bit Windows. So i downloaded some M-Audio drivers and installed them but in device manager it shows red exclamation mark and when it's connected and i try to play after a while it just freezes.
I cannot seem to find any Windows 7 drivers for an HP Pavillion DV1000 on the HP site, The only options it gives me is for Windows 2000 and XP, And Windows cannot locate the drivers on its own, It doesnt even have a Network Controller driver.
I have an Issue when I go into the device manager of my Windows 7 64 bit desktop pc it says: "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver. This is for the pci input device."
I tried updating the drivers and it says windows could not find the drivers for this device if you know the manufacturer go to there website. I tried searching for the drivers manually through the list that windows gives you but said it couldn't find them either. I have a Creative audigy 2 sound card and when I go to update the driver from the audigy 2 it says that it can't find drivers even though they are installed and the sound card is working.
Nothing indicates that they are installed except for the fact that it does show a driver date and version. I have the latest drivers. From 3 something 2012 I tried updating the drivers from creatives website but it said no hardware device could be detected on my system. Should I maybe reinstall the card? Just put it back into the same slot on my motherboard?

I have just tried to install my printer onto a new desktop running win 7 professional. Although windows has found the printer it says it cannot find the drivers. I have downloaded them twice from the Canon web site. How can I force it to find them. As it is a usb connection I cannot find anyway to browse manually for the drivers.
