I cannot seem to find any Windows 7 drivers for an HP Pavillion DV1000 on the HP site, The only options it gives me is for Windows 2000 and XP, And Windows cannot locate the drivers on its own, It doesnt even have a Network Controller driver.
View 4 RepliesThe volume icon on the taskbar reads "No Audio Output Device is Installed". No sound whatsoever not even out of the headphone jack. HP does not make a driver update. They told me my computer is too slow to run Windows 7. Funny, because I'm running 7 as I type this! Works great, other than this issue.
If there isn't a driver, I can of course get a USB or Express card sound card, right?
When I turn on my laptop, it goes to the i type in the username (password) then it gives me an error "this application has failed to start because WININET.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem" when i hit the "ok" it is just blue screen. I dont have the disk to reinstall anything, what should I do to fix my laptop?
