I have installed WINDOWS 7 (Lisenced) in HP-Laptop. After that i can install all drivers. Then i can use all USB drivers. I am using 3 USB regularly. Then I installed VMware 7. Now I cant use all USB drivers except 3 drivers. While connecting, It scanning "Searching Windows Update" then it shows the error "No driver found".
View 1 RepliesMy computer is set to not update automatically because once it updates, it won't allow access to internet (wireless or lan). I have to use a restore point to undo everything. My computer hasn't been updated for a year or more do to this problem. It can't find a problem when I run the help program and tells me to get on the internet to solve (won't let me do that in the first place)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently having difficulty viewing received emails from at least one customer. In order to "fault find" the issue I have been sending test emails to the customer, and she has been responding.
If I look in my Inbox there are no response emails from the customer. When I perform a search of the Inbox no results for the customer are displayed, however if I then click on "Try searching again in All Mail Items" I get results returned. This would be normal if I was expecting an email from my customer to be in a folder other than my Inbox, however the "In Folder" column of the search results shows "Inbox".
I can double click the message and open it, I can also mark it as unread. However no matter what I do it doesn't appear in the Inbox. I have performed a repair on my OST file using Scanpst.exe - errors were detected and corrected, however the issue persists.
I am using an Office 365 account, so I also tried to find the message by logging into Outlook Web Access, the mail was also missing "online". A search of the online files didn't reveal the message either.
Is there a way to do a specific update search on the Microsoft website? For example: If I was looking for only KB2534366.

I was told I need to update my drivers but there's a problem, I have no Catalyst Control Center! When I try to install it, the program never shows up. It says it successfully installed but it when I search for it in my computer the install file comes up. I've went into Windows Device Manager and it says my drivers are up to date, but when I go to AMD"s website i see a newer version. I try to download it but of course, I have no Catalyst Control Center. I have no idea how to fix this, and I hate getting into a match a minute late when playing bo2.
View 2 Replies View RelatedA while back, after successfully downloading and installing some updates in the Windows Update, it prompted me to restart the computer to finish the update installation process. However, I continued to use the computer for quite some time before restarting it, and then when it tried to configure the updates on the start-up screen, it showed that it was not successful in doing so. In the past, I noticed that this would typically happen when I did not restart the computer immediately (or within a short time) after the updates finished and I got the prompt to restart. I would have to go to Windows Update and do it over again, and then upon immediate restart, it would always work properly. But this time, it did not, and I keep getting the 8000FFFF error message instead.
Also, now, every time I start the computer, it shows that it's "Preparing to configure Windows... Do not shut off computer" (presumably the updates that never got completely and correctly configured) in the start-up screen... gets to 35%..fails... shuts down (screen goes black)... restarts again... tries to configure again, fails again, shuts down and restarts again... tries to configure again, fails again, and finally it apparently gives up and says "reverting changes" and finally goes to the desktop.I've looked at the answers in several threads at the answers.microsoft.com forum that were started by people with similar problems, and also tried several of the Microsoft "FixIt" files on the Microsoft site, but none of them worked. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.

It was reported that it is possible to use this driver for the HP deskjet 916C, which I have since 2002. The 916c was the "ALDI" - version of the 920c. I am searching for this driver, but the HP page does not offer me a download.
Also the list in Win 7 does not show me this driver in my German Windows 7 professional SB version.
I'm also running Windows 7, 64 bit. I am unable to update or download any software from websites. I am however able to download torrents! I just ran avast and have run malwarebytes and AVG and all have reported and removed affected files. But I still have the same problem. For example, I try to download the new adobe flash from the adobe site, I then hit run when prompted. It then gets stuck at retrieving the file until the error appears: "Installation encountered errors Actionlist not found".
I try to update malwarebyes and receive: "An error has occurred. Please report this issue to our support team (include the content of all error message(s) and code(s) in your submission). PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (0,0, Host not found).
I download it from their website and instantly "The ordinal 459 could not be located in the dynamic link library urlmon.dll." Google isn't turning anything up, I'd uninstall my current version and try that, but I'm afraid that it still won't work and then I'll be stuck without any Flash Player at all?I've run a registry cleaner already but didn't fix it.

I am unable to successfully run Windows Update Service on my Win7 64-bit computer. But i had noticed that my video cards were not working together any more, so i went to the ATI CCC to find crossfireX to inable it, only to find that it was no longer on the list of opitions. A couple months ago I got the bad image date virus that disable my google chrome and my epson workforce printer, I had found it disable my print spooler, I got rid the the virus, but it did more damage, I uninstalled the printer drivers and went through the windows services and set them all to automatic, but I cannot reinstall the driver.
Then I saw my graphics and sound drivers are out dated but I cannot update them either, it just times out when I try to update them. I noticed when I try to update other programs, they hang up on the system restore point, so I tried to create a new one. I get the shadow volume cannot be created message, I set the shadow volume services to automatic, and went through all the dependency's but I still can't create a restore point, I am guessing the problems are related

Used PLDS smartpack utility to update the DVD firmware, to latest level. Ran twice, 2nd time no update. rebooted to win7-64 install dvd, win7-64 install still pops error right before unpacking files, CD/DVD driver missing... I gotta say huh? win7-32 has the driver, 64 does not?I will try to find another win7-64 install dvd.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis was my first time building a computer and everything went smoothly until the Windows 7 64bit installation. Right after the installation starts, a box pops up that says a "Required CD/DVD drive driver is not found" and that I can take out my Windows CD to install the driver. My CD/DVD drive is a LiteOn iHAS424-98 and the manual says that it should be ready for installation with Windows 7 without any drivers. The drive did come with a CD for Nero 9 and drivers/manuals, but when I put that CD in at the appropriate time, it still says no drivers are found. I looked at reviews for the drive on newegg and most of them said their installation went smoothly, but a couple seemed to have similar problems. However, each time they seemed to be caused by different things. I do not have another copy of Windows so I am trying to find solutions other than buying another copy. I'm not sure what's going on with it.
