Searching For Specific Words In Documents?
Jun 15, 2012I want to be able to find documents that have specific words in them. The result must be only those documents that have all of these specific words. When I run a search I get documents with all 3 words, or 2 words or just 1 of the words. I just want the documents that have all 3 of the words.

May 10, 2011I have just managed to get rid of one nasty virus, and then installed the Service Pack 1 on my Windows 7 pro 32 bit system. The scans are clean and everything is running back to normal now, except this: I cannot access my online banking website. When I try to, the page does not load, and once that happens, no other page, in this or another tab, can load, and firefox will hang at exit (getting the "Firefox is already running..." message when trying to start it) and has to be killed in the task manager. While browsing in firefox then doesn't work anymore (no pages load), any other application using internet will still work (i.e. skype).
This happens only from this computer, using my laptop on the same internet connection (we have a Wi-Fi router and DSL internet in my flat) everything works fine. This happens with Firefox AND IE, except that with IE it doesn't hang and I'm still able to load other pages. I'm running Firefox 4.0.1 and IE 9.0.8112.16421. The website I'm trying to access is [URL] I've installed the latest Java : (Build 1.6.0_25-b06)
Searching For Specific Text That Contains Multiple "."s
Feb 26, 2010I am having trouble getting Windows 7 to accurately report exact searches for text containing multiple periods (i.e., "x.01.001" format). I need the system to report ALL documents in a specified directory that contain the exact text input but I'm finding that windows is reporting documents with only partial matches (i.e., y.01.001 or z.01.001).
I am using "" around the specific text and have the following folder options selected in the search tab:
* Always search file names and contents (this might take several minutes)
* Include subfolders in search results when searching in file folders
* Don't use the index when searching in file folders or system files (searches may take longer)
* Include system directories
choose the right filter settings or modify my input commands to get a more accurate response?

Feb 5, 2011I bought Win 7 Ultimate from a third party dealer on Buy.com that turned out have a bogus product key. Since Ultimate is installed on my computer now, can I buy the Anytime Upgrade from Home Premium to Ultimate? It's only $139, and it would seem to be perfectly honest. I had Home Premium before I installed Ultimate.

Evertime this file has been installed the installation has been successful. If the instalation was succesful why does windows keep on intalling it over & over again. Oct 2, 2011I've had to disable automatic updates as this one and KB2518870 don't install and the PC keeps trying to download them every day! When I go into control panel it tells me that I have MS.NET Framework 4 Client Profile. But cannot uninstall it. When I go to the "turn windows feature on/off" option it says I have MS.NET Framework 3.5.1
I've tried reloading version 4 from the MS website but it tells me I already have version 4 (or the download is being blocked). I've tried a clean boot - doesn't help. I've tried turning off Norton - doesn't help. Error code is 66A (unknown error).
I'm running Windows 7 Home premium on a Dell Studio One. Problems with these downloads seem to be quite common.

Jul 29, 2011Recently, a Windows update arrived called Microsoft Security Essentials Client Update Package - KB2544035. Since then my computer started malfunctioning. Whenever, I try to install the update, everything goes fine, and then suddenly goes blank and the desktop returns (but the Windows update screen had closed). When I open Windows update, it shows that the aforesaid update is not installed. And when I try to open Microsoft Security Essentials shortcut on my desktop, the machine is not able to find it and asks to delete it. I can't even open Microsoft Security Essentials manually from Program files. Things return to normal on System Restore. But the Microsoft Security Essentials appears potentially unprotected and asks for a full system scan. But before the scan is complete the Microsoft Security Essentials screen closes and the desktop returns once again. And, once again, when I try to open Microsoft Security Essentials shortcut on my desktop, the machine is not able to find it.

A security vulnerability exists in Microsoft Works 9 that could allow arbitrary code to run when a maliciously modified file is opened. This update resolves that vulnerability. I get error code 646. All other updates are installing successfully - have also run the Windows Update "fixit" which is the only available way from MS but makes no difference. I don't routinely open any files unless I am sure of their provenance so I'm not overly concerned - it's just annoying to have constant update failures on this one. Not even sure I have Works 9 ...although obviously it thinks I do ....

I've been trying to figure what could be the cause. I just purchased a new laptop (Acer - Aspire) that was preloaded with Windows 7. All other updates have been successful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone had any trouble with installing MS 2007 software on Windows 7; do you forsee my current issue hindering future MS 2007 install? It works well but with the latest version I'm getting a strange sequence of numbers appended to my Username (as per screenshot). It's not easy to get support on the product so thought I'd try here to see if someone recognises the issue and, no, it seems to have nothing to do with the 'machine name / description' - I've changed those (and back) to test.
