Unable to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." The dialog box itself doesn't show how big the file is or the download speed or the time left. I also keep getting a message saying a program has corrutped my program setting.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell 9200 (4GB ram) just did a clean install of Windows 7 64bit.All went OK but now in a strange position it can browse internet no problem, get to any any sites but will not download anything?When I click on download .. normal download box opens but nothing in the 'download To' or' Transfer rate' fields.Eventually they time out and drop.The top bar of download window shows 0% and does not change.And nothing is ever downloaded.Tried several sites nothing will download.It has however downloaded many windows updates and installed them, so it must be able to get data OK.Only thing other than standard install is after OS loaded I moved the default user profile location (as per tech doc here)I have tried different ports on router and even swapped ports & cables of PC's that are working still dame browses happily, but no downloads.First thing I want to download is anti-virus cant even download Kaspersky file.On network & sharing it shows that connected to LAN and if I open the LA icon .. it does show as active and happily sending & receiving.

Also, not only does that not work but my NVIDIA Control Panel does not work. I double click, the loading circle comes up for 3 seconds and then disappears.
I can't just not download drivers, it's any .exe file.

Every time I go and click the "Download XP Mode" button it comes up with this "Windows Validation Required" screen. So I download this windowsactivationupdate.exe and then run and install it. However, once I go and click the xp mode button it asks me to install it again even though I just did. I don't know why this message is coming up in the first place because I have activated my copy of windows and didn't do anything illegal to get this copy of windows. The only thing that I can think that could cause a problem is that I used to have this copy installed on my desktop before I switched my desktop to enterprise so I could use professional on this.

I figured updating all the windows updates, but i'm unable to. I keep getting error code 800B0100 when I try to DL them. I get the x64 Windows Readiness Tool download. I downloaded that and even that has failed to install. I'm not sure what the issue is.
Running windows 7 Home Premium x64 based PC.
For the past 18+ days I've been unable to download and install updates on Windows7 x64. I've tried all the trouble shooters and the update readiness tool, I've sought and received advice from windows answers to no avail, 14 days ago it did allow some updates but now its insists that IE9 on IE is not downloaded when I can see it is and all the time I keep getting Error Codes 80073712 and 9C48 , I've attempted and failed on at least 21 times now and every time it looks like it may make it but then it fails.

This is supposed to open in an Excel file. I can open it up on another PC, however. And I can also open up other Excel files on my PC except for this one.
I recently bought an Acer Revo AL100 and it was able to play all of the BluRay discs that I asked it to. I borrowed a copy from a mate and the Revo is able to detect that there is a disc in the drive, it chugs away for a couple of minutes and then I get a message that it was unable to download a BD-Live Update. Once I get this message the disc stops spinning and I don't get to watch my movie.
I get more or less the same results using the clear.fi application that came pre-installed, WinDVD Pro 11, PowerDVD 12 and Total Media Theatre 5 so I'm thinking that it's an issue with the hardware. The drive is a MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ141AL and I've been unable to find firmware updates for it anywhere. Is there anything else I can try short of trying to swap the drive for a different?
