Unable To Download Bluetooth Drivers
Oct 19, 2011I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. My computer is a Sony Vaio S series laptop.After I used the registry cleaner on Glary Utilities (obviously in hindsight after doing some quick research I wish I hadn't!) I started getting a 'BTTray error'.The advice I found to deal with this was to uninstall, then reinstall, the Bluetooth drivers.Unfortunately when I tried to install them the process is halted with the message 'Please plug in or turn on your Bluetooth device.'(just to add Bluetooth is turned on on the laptop)

Unable To Download Needed Upgrade Drivers
May 6, 2009Today is my first day on Window's 7 and I've been having problems with it all day.
I get the "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver version 181.71..." so I download the propper drivers and it won't let me open it.
This is what it looks like:
I can't find the file location either.
Also, not only does that not work but my NVIDIA Control Panel does not work. I double click, the loading circle comes up for 3 seconds and then disappears.
I can't just not download drivers, it's any .exe file.
I am not good with computers so if you explain it, please, explain it to me like I am a two year old learning to put together sentences.

May 18, 2010I am using Windows7 and IE8 on a Dell2350. The computer was working fine till last Friday and now I can't download anything. I keep getting a message saying "Unable to download... Unable to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." The dialog box itself doesn't show how big the file is or the download speed or the time left. I also keep getting a message saying a program has corrutped my program setting.

Oct 27, 2012I have a Dell 9200 (4GB ram) just did a clean install of Windows 7 64bit.All went OK but now in a strange position it can browse internet no problem, get to any any sites but will not download anything?When I click on download .. normal download box opens but nothing in the 'download To' or' Transfer rate' fields.Eventually they time out and drop.The top bar of download window shows 0% and does not change.And nothing is ever downloaded.Tried several sites nothing will download.It has however downloaded many windows updates and installed them, so it must be able to get data OK.Only thing other than standard install is after OS loaded I moved the default user profile location (as per tech doc here)I have tried different ports on router and even swapped ports & cables of PC's that are working still dame browses happily, but no downloads.First thing I want to download is anti-virus cant even download Kaspersky file.On network & sharing it shows that connected to LAN and if I open the LA icon .. it does show as active and happily sending & receiving.

Nov 23, 2009I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64, and Windows detects a Samsung 4828FN 3in1 printer and a Canon LIDE 80 scanner in "Devices & Printers" but appears to be unable to find drivers. I downloaded & installed Win 7 drivers from both mfg sites, but neither appears in their appropriate windows when called up. The scanner on the printer works and saves to files, so I know the USB connections are working. Canon Toolbox Settings cannot detect.
Of course the HP 1000 printer has no Win 7 drivers to download, so that one does not work either,
Also, when I try and select new printers from a "Print" drop-down menu, I get a message "The Active Directory Domain Sevices is Currently Unavailable"
Anyone have suggestions?

Aug 30, 2011I have a gateway GT5656 desktop which came with Vista OS. I recently upgraded to win7 ultimate. I then discovered that my drivers were missing for audio, etc. I went to gateway.com and downloaded then installed the audio drivers. This seemed fine but when I went to use the front mic jack I received a message saying that I needed to visit this site and get vista drivers...Is this correct? Shouldn't I get win 7 drivers?

Mar 6, 2010I am not able to download xp mode in windows 7 professional. Every time I go and click the "Download XP Mode" button it comes up with this "Windows Validation Required" screen. So I download this windowsactivationupdate.exe and then run and install it. However, once I go and click the xp mode button it asks me to install it again even though I just did. I don't know why this message is coming up in the first place because I have activated my copy of windows and didn't do anything illegal to get this copy of windows. The only thing that I can think that could cause a problem is that I used to have this copy installed on my desktop before I switched my desktop to enterprise so I could use professional on this.

Sep 21, 2011After battling massive BSOD all day yesterday, I did a complete factory reset, and many other things which have stopped the BSOD. Unfortunately my CPU is still completely freezing up at random times.
I figured updating all the windows updates, but i'm unable to. I keep getting error code 800B0100 when I try to DL them. I get the x64 Windows Readiness Tool download. I downloaded that and even that has failed to install. I'm not sure what the issue is.

May 21, 2012For the past 18+ days I've been unable to download and install updates on Windows7 x64. I've tried all the trouble shooters and the update readiness tool, I've sought and received advice from windows answers to no avail, 14 days ago it did allow some updates but now its insists that IE9 on IE is not downloaded when I can see it is and all the time I keep getting Error Codes 80073712 and 9C48 , I've attempted and failed on at least 21 times now and every time it looks like it may make it but then it fails.
