I can download Canon pictures from a 2GB card, but cannot download from a 32GB card.I am using ZoomBrowser EX for Windows 7.What is the problem and how do I download pictures from the 32GB card?

It keeps telling me in 6 attempts that windows cannot format it. Properties on the card show it as full, but it has never had more than 16gb put on it. As this card is not even 2 months old. Is there a site that can use to format this on freeware...etc?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a home group network consisting of a vista laptop and a Windows 7 desktop.I recently had to do a reinstall/upgrade Windows 7 on the desktop.The file sharing works okay except for one problem ... I am no longer able to share the My Pictures folder on my desktop with the laptop. I've repeatedly tried to set the share and advance share options on the the desktop's My Pictures folder,
but it still will not work..I keep on getting the same window message "Windows cannot access \DESKTOPMy Pictures"When I press the Network Diagnose button I get a message that says The user account you are logged in with was denied access Make sure you have permission to access the shared folder?
I am unable to send pictures or documents in Windows Live Mail. I can select to pictures and select e-mail. I get the dialog box but when I hit add it just goes blank. Windows Live Mail is my default e-mail program. I am running windows 7, 64 bit.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile shooting a wedding, my 5Dmark II showed an error and locked up. I turned off the camera and turned it back on. I took one more picture and it locked up again. I turned it off and replaced the card, with no further issues. When I tried to download pictures in error card, nothing showed on the computer. The computer is asking me to formatt the card again. I have never had any problems with the Lexar Plat II 80x cards before. What can I do to recover my photo?

Currently I only have an old 40Gb IDE HDD, as my SATA WD sadly has died; I don't need big HDD though, as I don't store much on my PC. So, I started to think of getting the Corsair X32 and installing Win7 on it, together with one game I play and a few programs like Photoshop and Sonar6 (DAW software). I would keep all my docs on the HDD. So, is 32 Gb enough?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 32gb of ram, paired with a 128gb ocz ssd. I've heard about disabling page file or reducing the amount. Currently I've reduced it to 512 - 2048 and regained a lot of space on my ssd, which I'm very happy about. Any suggestions or fine how I have it?
Also, should i disable write caching?
This is being used on PSP (File System is FAT32, was formatted on PSP itself) and had 26% fragmentation (6'6gb size of it). After copying all stuff I wanted to it (leaving 22% space) left all this fragmentation so decided to do a normal defrag (using defragler) since its going to need only 1 time as i dont plan to delete that stuff or replace it.
What is your opinion about if I could have gained any little performance on the memory stick doing this or not? Also didn't check yet if CCleaner can delete free space on this memory stick or not (not sure if this memory sticks store data like an HDD do so). Just doing a normal defrag on this memory stick took some good hours.

I imported my photos from my SDCard to my PC using Picasa 3, and everything was going smoothly... until I tried to take a look at the photos! all of the photos that I've imported using this method for some reason all became greyed out! Viewing them on Picasa3, all you can see is a grey rectangle, in place of the photos. However, when using the windows explorer folder, i can see that the photos were imported correctly (it's not just a grey box, but the actual photos), but when I try to open it (using any program: Paint, Picasa3, etc), it is still a grey rectangle instead of the photos. I tried to upload the image and send it via email, and I get the same result.In my mistake, I chose to "delete the uploaded photos after uploading" option..it's my vacation photos from Croatia I'm not sure if there were any errors when I imported it... i stepped out for a bit while I was waiting for it to import. I looked around my SD card, and looked at the "Lost.dir" folder, and copied all of what's in there.I did use Glarysoft to recover the images, and I'm using a Windows 7 laptop as my computer. Also, are there other alternatives? I did save the lost.dir with all of the photo files in it, both in my SD Card, and on my laptop.

I'm away to work for a day at a time and when I get home the PC is up and running.I found this article:Windows 7 will not sleep or not sleepingwhich indicates to update driver, particularly the video card driver. I go to the vendor site and download the newest driver. I go to Device Manager open Display Adapters and find my card, double click on that and I'm in the properties. The driver date is 9/2010 so there is definitely a newer driver. Click on update driver/search on computer and navigate to the folder where I downloaded the new driver. I click next and get "Windows has determined that the current driver software for the device is up to date" and thats it, no apparent way around.
