It keeps telling me in 6 attempts that windows cannot format it. Properties on the card show it as full, but it has never had more than 16gb put on it. As this card is not even 2 months old. Oct 28, 2009I've been using the Windows 7 Ultimate release candidate as an evaluation copy for a while now with no problems. I have an ATI radeon mobility X1600 graphics card in my laptop and I'm using an external monitor through my laptop's DVI port. I bought a product key for Windows 7 professional and therefore had to reinstall that version because I'm using Ultimate as the evaluation copy. I have each version on its own partition so I can switch back and forth between the two.
The problem is that the newly installed windows professional copy will not recognize my ATI graphics card and I can't use my external monitor. It has the standard windows VGA adapter drivers installed. I've installed and run the ATI file i downloaded off their site, '9-9_beta_win7_32_dd_CC', and this accomplishes nothing. I looked in device manager on the working ultimate version and the card is installed correctly so I copied all of the drivers and files it says its using and then tried to update the driver for the standard windows VGA adapter and it says it can't find any better drivers than the current ones.
I remember initially having this same problem when I first installed the Windows 7 Ultimate RC several months ago but I have no clue how I was able to get it to work... Any ideas?

Problem: Sound card works fine in 32 bit, but is unrecognized in 64 bit. All other systems nominal. Solutions tried to date.
(1) Sound card un and re-installed.
(2) SB solution SID 82669 (force detection through LGPE, D/L and install new drivers) Failed.
Nvidia Driver No Longer Works - Graphics Card Broke?
Dec 18, 2012a few days ago on boot up my laptop restarted and then attempted windows repair. came back to life. tonight while viewing Internet my screen went black. i had to hold the power button down to restart. i chose start windows normally. when attempting to load windows i got a blue screen saying "attemp to restart display driver has timed out". after a few attempts i have managed to get it into safe mode and deleted the nvidia graphics driver. restarted and all was fine (low resolution). i installed the graphix driver again an it happened again. is my graphics card broke?

the nvidia driver does not detect my graphix card so i have to add it in the setup information file. but i have had no problems for about nine month since i bought this laptop second hand.
i joined this site for another problem a few days ago. slow speeds and constant hdd access but had a good clean out and was going to see how it went. then this happened. i do not think they are related.

It works in my old computer and boots fine.It appears the problem is caused by an old install of linux onto that drive. The accepted solution is to use the repair on the install disk and type into console bootrec.exe /FixMbr. It said it was successful but i'm still getting the same error. It then goes to a big red screen with grub command.

Page File With 32GB Ram?
Aug 10, 2012I have 32gb of ram, paired with a 128gb ocz ssd. I've heard about disabling page file or reducing the amount. Currently I've reduced it to 512 - 2048 and regained a lot of space on my ssd, which I'm very happy about. Any suggestions or fine how I have it?
Also, should i disable write caching?
Memory Stick Pro HG Duo 32GB Fragmented
Nov 17, 2012This is being used on PSP (File System is FAT32, was formatted on PSP itself) and had 26% fragmentation (6'6gb size of it). After copying all stuff I wanted to it (leaving 22% space) left all this fragmentation so decided to do a normal defrag (using defragler) since its going to need only 1 time as i dont plan to delete that stuff or replace it.
What is your opinion about if I could have gained any little performance on the memory stick doing this or not? Also didn't check yet if CCleaner can delete free space on this memory stick or not (not sure if this memory sticks store data like an HDD do so). Just doing a normal defrag on this memory stick took some good hours.
