Recently installed Ashes Cricket 2009 but system shuts down abruptly after 10 minutes of playing the game. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit version, 3 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 310M Graphics Card.

It was working perfect when ever i installed it with a fresh copy of windows 7 but the 2nd time it is installing, game is starting, when the game starts my fps suddenly goes down to 1fps very slow PC 2.5Ghz P41.5GB Ram 512MB Ati HD 3650 AGP DDR2 I've installed the latest drivers too
View 1 Replies View RelatedI own a gateway notebook as my secondary machine but since I sold my workhorse it should be my main machine this week before I buy a couple new macs and transfer this buddy to my mom, as of this morning I tried to wipe off the ATI HD3200 driver and update it as the scaling options were not showing up but after I got the old driver off I tried rebooting the system and started to have problems, now I can only boot in safe mode and it shuts down abruptly after some time (does not come back up if I don't press the power button), I used driver sweeper to get rid of the old driver.

But in Windows 7 there seems to be some problem with it the screen keeps flickering randomly while playing the game. I tried compatibility mode but it still continued. I really like the game and I don't have a system that can support latest games so I want a way to play this game and get rid of this flickering.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo, everytime I'm in the middle of a game. For example I was playing DayZ and my PC just shuts down. It has been doing this for awhile. It does it on other games like Half-Life 2. I have a pretty powerful computer. It doesn't have this problem when video editing with 720p footage. I've tried the CHSDISK thing (i think thats how you spell it) and it still shuts down randomly during game. I've also tried turning off all the startup programs.

when im playing big fish, (have loads have bought) gamehouse downloads after a few minutes of playing they shut down completely cannot turn off laptop unless take out battery never had this problem until 2 weeks ago doesnt happen with cd games. so cant play any at all.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was playing for a few hours Skyrim and my computer turned off automatically no power but my mouse lights were on.I booted the computer and it worked fine.But now few days had passed, I was playing left for dead 2 and in the middle of the game my computer shuts off automatically.I tried restarting it by unplugging my psu wire, booted up but it hangs on startup.AND I can't get into windows anymore1. Computer turns off in middle of game, could be PSU problem.2. While booting, two options are provided; Repair windows ( recommended ) or Start windows normally. I choose option 1 but goes back to startup then option 2 goes back to startup.I tried everything from going to safemode, restoring, safe mode with command prompt, changing configuration on BIOS, reseting bios and unplugging rams and graphics card. 12 gb ram
amd 6990 saphire card (I have 2 but removed one and get the same problem)
I7-975
CPU is liquid cooled
1.2 kw power supply
(Almost all the parts from the motherboard, video cards, radiator, fans, power supply, have been replaced already and the error continues.)
Troubleshooting I did:
Ran this dell mem test thing and all memory passed
Checked cpu using torture test with prime95: no errors
used GPU-Z: temps dont seem to get that high
The games dont even run this is on a clean install of windows 7 nothing else installed except fresh video card drivers 12.4 and steam. As soon as I switch this one game Cursed crusade for example to 1920x1080 resolution the computer just reboots, no bsod or anything. Other games once the game starts it reboots.At this point they want me to do a system exchange, the problem is my machine they dont make anymore, which would mean downsizing to an alienware aurora that with dual 6990's I am pretty sure would melt.I would like to keep this system so I would rather find a solution since it may be something that I have not checked.I see the same error as previously before doing a clean install. (also os is on diff hard drive now)
I get event Id 41 kernel-power The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first this error could be caused if the system stopped responding, or lost power unexpectedly.

Once I started playing, my computer randomly shuts off. Just completely turns off, no warning, nothing.I'm pretty sure that my computer is not overheating because I play StarCraft II on this computer and do not have any overheating issues. This Tony Hawk game is a much lighter game, taking much fewer resources.I have an HP HDX18 laptop computer. url...I probably need to provide some other stuff to aid in finding the problem, but I do not know what else to provide.

I thought at first since it was just shutting down and not BSODing it was either my GPU or PSU, I have now replaced both with pretty decent upgrades, and booted some games like counter strike source, minecraft, orcs must die, and still happens.

I over clocked my cpu from dual core to quad core but even after complete shut down by the window, cpu fan is working, cabinet LED is still on, motherboard LED is on as there is a current.
Which is totaly unusual as everything switches off automaticaly after complete shutdown in normal cpu condition.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been running W7 on this box since W7 came out. I use the TV tuner, Dvdfab, play movies, rip cd's and to this point haven't really had any problems. About 2 weeks ago I was unable to open a movie to use DVDFab to copy it. DVDFab had expried. I did upgrade to the latest version, but that didnt help. Then I tried playing a CD. CD will not play. WMP just sits at the blue circle. Sometimes it will recognize the cd and songs, but no music.Only physical cds and dvds. Same problem if you try and play them from WMC.

I've been getting random system freezes when playing COD MW3 and after I restart my PC I get a report for BSOD 124. What I've checked until now:
1.Non of my components is overheating or actually heating at all, since I have excellent custom cooling.
2. Checked my memory with a 10 hours memtest for windows 4 instances, each 1500MB.
3. Checked my PSU with a multimeter for 1 hour during load/idle. It's within specs.
4. Not overclocking.

I think these random freezes/lockups are related to some software conflict. I had a similar problem with some games running PB, and it appeared that PB has conflict with MSI Afterburner, so after I uninstalled afterburner I stopped getting it. The problem is that now my system freezes when I play Single PLayer/Spec Ops on MW3, which has nothing to do with PB.
well i am facing a very strange problem with my computer , my CPU is started crashing when i play games like Darksiders 2 , Max payne 3 or The Witcher -2 . it works sometime for hours and someting it crashes 5 times in 30 mins. , and when it crashes i see brown screen and the a sound like errr and then system restart. i took it to the service centre of ASUS and they checked my MB , GPU and RAM all is working fine . i tried almost 15 different RAM's but non helped problem remains same, i am telling my hardware specification: CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 black editionMB: ASUS M4A88T-MRAM: Corsair XMS3 4gb single chipPSU: Cooler Master ELITE 500 WATTS GPU: ATI RADEON HD 4850 Cabinet : Cooler Master ( with 2 120 mm inflow FAN's and 1 , 120 MM outflow) i also did all the bench mark tests for CPU ( using CPUZ) , GPU ( Fun Mark) and memory test all results are normal )
View 14 Replies View RelatedWindows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Full Retail The hardware is maybe about a year old at this point.I've only installed the OS once.s a side note, this occurrence isn't consistent. Meaning that the system will run perfectly fine for days ( and even a week in some cases ) before restarting itself. The only thing I've been able to pin point is that it'll happen while I'm playing World of Warcraft most often.My video card drivers seem to be up to date ( Catalyst 11.10 ). I've re-installed the drivers a few times using the control panel ( Add / Remove ), and then manually deleting folders and registry information that happened to be remaining.As another side note, I should also mention that I've come across one other problem that I'm able to fix after booting up. I don't believe this issue is at all related to what's been happening lately, but every time the computer is booted up for the first time it will eventually lock up when ever I move the mouse or stroke a key.I'm able to fix this by using the hardware troubleshooting that Windows 7 has. Once I run that the problem is resolved indefinitely until the computer is restarted
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince building a new computer a few months back, I have been having issues with BSOD's while playing certain games like Battlefield 3 or Wow. But Skyrim and others are fine. I've tried many different drivers for ati and I'm currently using 11.12, but crashes still happen. I don't believe its a overheating problem as the temps are all low. WhoCrashed suggests a driver issue and has singled out ati as the possible issue a few times.

I am using windows 7.I cannot play pes 2009 fullscreen. It looks fullscreen but its not.There are some black spaces up and down. It looks like movie screen. Is pes 2009 not compatible with win 7? How can I solve this problem?
