Sapphire Radeon HD 4670 And Second VGA Card Problem

Had a frustrating afternoon trying to get my triple-monitor setup going again; I had WinXP for years with two video cards: a single, simple VGA / PCI card, and a recent Radeon HD 4670 card with two outputs. Under XP everything was recognized without incident, first repeating all three monitors and then able to extend windows to this monitor under Display Preferences.
Now under Windows 7 RC, I did a fresh install with both cards inserted, and only the single VGA card would drive its monitor. The HD 4670 drivers are listed in the Device Manager, I removed and installed the ATI 9.9 version software several times, and the single VGA output is the only thing I get. I even tried the 'F8', selected the unsigned drivers, and still it didn't bring the Radeon to life.
I pulled the single VGA card out, and bam the two monitors off the Radeon come alive. I install the CCC and it works just fine. And then I shutdown, add the VGA card back, and get the single VGA output again.

I'm currently using xp home edition and I just bought the SAPPHIRE RADEON HD 4650 1G AGP. The current version of my driver is 8.620.0.0. I found out that there was new updates for the driver. When I tried to make them a bug came in my system. I tried manually to locate the files for the update but still didn't work.
Anybody could pls have any clue about that?

I just bought a new acer (link) and proceeded to install windows 7 (64-bit) straight ahead. I must admit i made a bit of a mistake when i didn't check if the box it got shipped in contained any drivers or such (which it didn't to my surprise!)
Currently got experience with 32-bit Windows 7, but not with 64-bit which I've heard had a rough time with bugs. Because my system is a 64-bit platform i suppose this might be one of the reasons for my problems. On a side note, this system is shipped out with both onboard gfx and an extra card (the ATI 4670 one)
But on to the main issue; Currently my problem with this system is an issue regarding my ATI mobility radeon HD4670 GFX card. (This is the drivers I've tried soo far:
ATI Catalystâ„¢ Mobility Display Driver - Directly downloaded from the ati.amd.com site (this is by chance also the latest native win 64-bit driver) http://www.acer.com - Go to the driver section and select the right system (Acer Aspire 8935G).
Sadly there is no windows 7 drivers atm, only vista ones. Without any drivers, this is how my Device Manager list my display units. As you will notice windows update have already found some driver for it. But the Device will not start (This device cannot start. (Code 10))

I have an Acer Aspire Z5610 all-in-one desktop. Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.History: I was getting a blue screen, generally when multitasking and streaming video going.A friend suggested a video card driver upgrade, which did in fact resolve that problem. A few months down the road, the computer would just suddenly shut down. No blue screen. Found and installed an updated driver (8.920.0.0 date 11/9/2011), but didn't resolve problem.The only thing that seems to prevent the shut downs is to change the "theme" to "Windows 7 Basic", without any HD wallpapers. Additionally, moving windows around is not smooth and remnants of closed windows stay on the screen occasionally.Found some threads here that mentioned a conflict between Intel chips default video driver and the ATI driver, but only the ATI card shows up in the device manager.I just assume it's the video card or driver because changes in how the graphics are displayed seem to effect the shutting down. Some have suggested it's the RAM or mother board.

just purchased a new Pentium 4 3.4 GHz 32-bit processor with HyperTransport technology and a new AGP HIS ATI Radeon HD 4670 with IceQ and 1GB DDR3 RAM packed in a green and black box with this serial number H467QS1GHA. I also installed a new Windows 7 32-bit. I installed the drivers from the HIS CD that was packed with the graphics card but when I start up Windows I can't play any 3D games. Also a message from ATI Catalyst Control Center pops up saying that I don't have an ATI driver or the ATI driver is not working properly.I got these error mesages (I listed the games too)

i have a sapphire HD 5770 a little over a yr now and recently it started giving problems and now it does not wrk most of the time. what happens is that when the computer is turned on the card starts up (the lights on the back of the card light up green and soon after they start to flicker and turn off and the fan spins really fast and loud as if there is no six pin power connector in the card. i gave it to a friend to check it for me and it wrked in his system for about 4 days str8 the started to chip off.

i don't know if the video card and the graphics card is the same thing (because im not from UK or USA). my problem is that i have installed the driver and by the devices appears a yellow sign that shows that i have installed nothing what should i do ? my card is : ati radeon saphire x1550 (if someone didn't understand that what i wrote plz ask me for more explanations)

I recently looked into this cards performance and even used furmark to benchmark test it. THIS program made the card reach 91c before I stopped it.I recently got MSI Afterburner to test it out even more accurately and it gave me readings of 79c only after maybe 4-5 minutes of play on Metro 2033 with High settings.It just worries me that it may be overheating at times.

My m'board is Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 with Athlon X2 2.6 GHz and 3GB DDR. Windows 7 x64 detected the card but had an yellow symbol with the status code 43. Aero could not be enabled because of that. A poster torrentg seems to have sorted out this particular issue for a lot of people. I tried all his suggestions but the code 43 exists.

Device Manager is showing the Display Adapter as "VirtualBox Graphics Adapter" I want it to recognise my Sapphire Radeon X1650 Graphics Card so that i can install the appropriate ATI Drivers. How can I do this.
On a similar note my on - board Sound Chip has not been identified properly and again i would like to correct this and install the correct drivers.

tried to follow manual guide for installing agp drivers for my sapphire 4650 agp card,
after changing the CL_91526.inf, and udating via device manager, it tells me the
'standard driver' is the best one to use???

I have a Sapphire Radeon HD3850 AGP card in my system but windows will not install the driver from the latest release of the ATI Catalyst driver install. Instead it defaults to the Standard VGA
From what i have read on these forums i may need to change some information the CH87739.inf file for the driver.
I see a memeber called torrentg had posted a modified .inf file but the download limit has been reached. Is there any chance of posting again? Or perhaps positing its contents into the replay.

Like the title above says i need something more powerful than the xfx radei HD 4850 1GB but not to expensive, Sure it still chugs a long fine but lacks newer dx features, I only payed $130 when i bought that card a cpl years ago but I'm looking for something cheaper than can beat it in performance. That and ati just put that card in legacy support Model HD-485X-ZDFC rev.2.1 if you all want to look up the specs has double lifetime warranty one of the reason i bought it, Had it replace by xfx once when capacitors started leaking in an older revision of the card.

The performance scores on my less than 2 year old computer are :- Processor & memory, both 7.3 Graphics 4.6 gaming 6.1 and hard disk 5.9. I have tried AMD fo poor graphics score, they suggested downloading their latest Catalyst driver suite. I followed their instructions to the letter and, no change. They now suggest that I upgrade to their Firepro range.As a pensioner, I never intend to play games on my computer, but do intend to try and record the family's life in photo slide shows and video, so only need the graphics side of the graphics card to work well.As I seem to have a slow card, I thought I'd go up on the internet and buy a faster one for £50 approx. (I want an AMD/ATI card, as I have an AMD Athlon quad core processor.) Trouble is all the review sites only deal with the gaming speeds of the cards, not the side I would use for video editing.So can anyone tell me, or guide me towards a web site that can, how to choose a reasonably good compatible graphics card that is geared towards video and photo editing

I've been having this problem 2 days ago and it's a bit frustrating. I was just playing some games when it suddenly restarted automatically. My device manager doesn't seem to acknowledge my graphics card anymore for some apparent reason. I've tried plugging my monitor in my graphics card and it just seems like on a standby mode with the blank screen showing nothing.
But when I plug my monitor to my motherboard port it shows up fine and is in the device manager. I've tried cleaning my drivers with "Driver Sweeper" then reinstalling the lastest driver for my graphics card, but that didn't do anything. I was hoping if anyone knows what's wrong with my graphics card . Thank you.
Is my graphics card burnt/broken?

I have windows 7 7600 x64 and using the newest official Catalyst drivers from ATI for the Radeon 4890 1GB video card I own.
However I have noticed some little issues in games. Two games Im currently playing Trine, and Mass Effect show what I call a tear (its not anything missing) but when your running around you see a visible line move its way up the screen like your watching a fast refresh on PC-Anywhere or something.
It does not effect the game at all, or slow it down and its not 100% of the time its when your running or moving side to side etc. Always while in motion.
I thought maybe it was a vsync issue so Checked that in the graphic settings for Mass Effect but no difference. Does anyone know what Im referring to if there is a proper name and how I can go about reducing it or eliminating it in games?
In Trine it does it as well when IM running and jumping around (side scroller).

My graphic card is the lowest score for my WEI and I'd like to make it a little higher. I have a 305w power supply so I'm not sure what card/s I could run before needing to upgrade my power supply.
Right now I have a Radeon X600 graphic card in my computer. I don't know much about it or any of the better cards out there.
I currently have a VGA and a DVI monitor. In the future (hopefully near) I would like to get a LCD TV and use HDMI. I don't need a VGA port as I have a supply of various connectors/adapters/cords to get VGA.

So just upgraded my system from Vista to W7. now everytime I unplug the monitor from my rig and reconnect it the video in WMP is all distorted and dark. I have to uninstall the video card and then load the drivers again..

I've recently upgraded to windows 7 x86, and it works great. The only problem I have is that my ati mobility radeon 3650 graphics card doesn't seem to want to work.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers several times using several different versions of the driver (win7beta, vista32, mobilitymodded, unmobilitymodded).
Whenever I try starting up with the card enabled, the screen goes blank. After reinstalling the driver, everything but the wallpaper goes away. Can anyone help?

So I've been using the windows 7 7000 build ever since it came out and its been running just fine on my setup. A couple days ago i downloaded the new RC 7100 build and when i tried to install it, i kept getting a blue screen.
I don't remember why, but i concluded that the issue was my graphics card so i took out my Radeon 4870x2 and took my dad's card, a GeForce 8500 GT. Putting the GeForce in my pc worked and it installed smoothly with both 32bit and 64bit versions of windows 7 RC
I then tried to put my Radeon back into my pc after installing with my geforce. Once it booted i got no signal to the monitor. After finding a work around my i got a blue screen after about 10 min. then it would not boot windows.
I'm still stuck at the installation with my radeon when i put the cd in. i get a blue screen right after the logo thing starts to move, this is before any setup information comes up.
In short, i cant get widows 7 RC to work with my graphics card.
