Radeon X1900 Graphics Card Problem

I've been having this problem 2 days ago and it's a bit frustrating. I was just playing some games when it suddenly restarted automatically. My device manager doesn't seem to acknowledge my graphics card anymore for some apparent reason. I've tried plugging my monitor in my graphics card and it just seems like on a standby mode with the blank screen showing nothing.
But when I plug my monitor to my motherboard port it shows up fine and is in the device manager. I've tried cleaning my drivers with "Driver Sweeper" then reinstalling the lastest driver for my graphics card, but that didn't do anything. I was hoping if anyone knows what's wrong with my graphics card . Thank you.
Is my graphics card burnt/broken?

The performance scores on my less than 2 year old computer are :- Processor & memory, both 7.3 Graphics 4.6 gaming 6.1 and hard disk 5.9. I have tried AMD fo poor graphics score, they suggested downloading their latest Catalyst driver suite. I followed their instructions to the letter and, no change. They now suggest that I upgrade to their Firepro range.As a pensioner, I never intend to play games on my computer, but do intend to try and record the family's life in photo slide shows and video, so only need the graphics side of the graphics card to work well.As I seem to have a slow card, I thought I'd go up on the internet and buy a faster one for £50 approx. (I want an AMD/ATI card, as I have an AMD Athlon quad core processor.) Trouble is all the review sites only deal with the gaming speeds of the cards, not the side I would use for video editing.So can anyone tell me, or guide me towards a web site that can, how to choose a reasonably good compatible graphics card that is geared towards video and photo editing

guys i instaled the radeon hd 4800 series driver for my sapphire radeon HD 4870 xvapor 2gddr5 graphics card but for sum odd reason when it goes on my desktop it shutts down n restarts after 3 seconds... or less.. What could be wrong ?

I've recently upgraded to windows 7 x86, and it works great. The only problem I have is that my ati mobility radeon 3650 graphics card doesn't seem to want to work.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers several times using several different versions of the driver (win7beta, vista32, mobilitymodded, unmobilitymodded).
Whenever I try starting up with the card enabled, the screen goes blank. After reinstalling the driver, everything but the wallpaper goes away. Can anyone help?

So I've been using the windows 7 7000 build ever since it came out and its been running just fine on my setup. A couple days ago i downloaded the new RC 7100 build and when i tried to install it, i kept getting a blue screen.
I don't remember why, but i concluded that the issue was my graphics card so i took out my Radeon 4870x2 and took my dad's card, a GeForce 8500 GT. Putting the GeForce in my pc worked and it installed smoothly with both 32bit and 64bit versions of windows 7 RC
I then tried to put my Radeon back into my pc after installing with my geforce. Once it booted i got no signal to the monitor. After finding a work around my i got a blue screen after about 10 min. then it would not boot windows.
I'm still stuck at the installation with my radeon when i put the cd in. i get a blue screen right after the logo thing starts to move, this is before any setup information comes up.
In short, i cant get widows 7 RC to work with my graphics card.

i have heard a lot of my friends saying that they are unable to play high resolution and high definition games on their pc and told that they are on a low budget to buy a graphics card.here is a solution for that:there is a software named 3-d analyzer available in the internet which acts as a virtual graphics card for playing games. you can enter the graphic card needed from the 4 available graphic cards available and then you can get the attributes of that graphic card..if fine tuned,you can play games at the range of a 128mb ram virutal graphic card on your non graphic card pc. note:graphic intensive games,that requires atleast 512mb of graphics memory can't be played through 3d analyzer if you don't have a graphic card,but you can try running it if you have a 256/128 mb card. steps for using the 3-d analyzer software, *first download the file from here, *then extract that software and open the software, *then,select the exe file of the game that you want to run, *choose the select option, *then you can choose the attributes the options you require to play the game,*the attributes may be pixel shader or disable rendering in the game or emulation or some other options specified, *then,enter the device id and the vendor id for the graphics card you need from the available graphics card on the right.*i would suggest the ati radeon 9800pro to run most of the games like fifa 08/09 or prince of persia two thrones/sands of time, *then choose the run option and then i assure that the game would run for you at a decent/playable speed. note:1.if it shows any error that a file is not found pls reinstall the software.2.if the screen turns black/blank then play with the options in the s/w, by trial and error method,if fortunate,may be,you'll be able to run your favorite game.3.if pixel shader/shader version x.x not found,then select the appropriate shader model and run the game. all the best..happy gaming..if any queries post it below.how to: use 3d analyzer video at Internet

I need to know if anyone knows where to get a window 7 driver for an ATI Radeon X1250 intragrated graphics card? I can not change my screen resolution to be able to load the games that we often play. This system just crashed 5 days ago and it has taken many days to get it back up and running.... Im about to restore Windows XP. sony vaio as above.. in device manager my radeon is showing as standard VGA, I tried to download the drivers from radeon using the AMD automatic driver installer it found the radeon but could not instal the driver, so I went to sony site for the driver I can download it but when I try to open it all I get is an error saying "compressed zip folder invalid".

- Win 7 RC 7100 32 bit does not load the correct graphics card driver and even the boot menu is not displayed correctly (fuzzy black screen, issue known from Ubuntu installations where it was solved by adapting boot loader specifications…) I do know however, that the boot menu is loaded correctly as “arrow down” + “enter” starts XP without any issues.
Win 7 is somewhat loaded, when hitting “enter” only in what I think must be the boot menue. Harddrive gets active and for 5 secons I even get a “black screen in normal resolution” with the arrow displayed correctly. Then unfortunately returning to fuzzy mode.
Questions:
- How to boot Win 7 in vga or graphics modus being blinded? When hitting F8 hard drive reacts differently, but how then to select the right boot option without seeing anything?
- Is there an option to install a different graphics card driver into win 7 via the working XP?
- Is there an option to modify the boot menu’s options via working XP, e.g., setting to vga modus (that did the trick for Ubuntu).
- Any experience with Radeon Mobility 9600 (MV350) under Win 7?

I purchased diablo 3 for my husband & my video card is not supported so he's unable to play, my computer is a HP P624 f-b desktop with a Intel GMA intregrated graphics, I am aware I need to up my power supply also, I have no idea what video card can be used to upgrade so the game is playable, not looking to spend a fortune?

I know this is going to sound like a daft question but my father has a Radeon HD 3850 x2 from ASUS and it's a great card, but we're coming stuck about the actual display resolution of the card; it being a dual link I'm some what confused as to how you would go about calculating the actual maximum display resolution of the Dual Link ports to 2 SEPERATE monitors not to one! My father is planning on running two 22" at a display resolution of 1920x1080 at 60hz and the maximum display resolution of the Dual link ports is 2560x1600 at 85hz.. I'm not sure whether the card will run both at 1920x1080@60hz

Which gpu has better graphics performance. I have the choice between those two (Geforce 630m or Radeon 7670m). I'm looking to buy a new laptop soon and that is the two I have choices from. I'd like to know which would be better. It would be for gaming some,Photoshop (graphics design and image editing), Skype, and so forth. They're both around the same price range, so I'd like to get the best for the money. They'll both be equipped with a Intel Core i5. The Geforce is priced a little higher than the Radeon, but not too much. As I said, they're around the same price. I've always liked Geforce, but I'd like an opinion.

Like the title above says i need something more powerful than the xfx radei HD 4850 1GB but not to expensive, Sure it still chugs a long fine but lacks newer dx features, I only payed $130 when i bought that card a cpl years ago but I'm looking for something cheaper than can beat it in performance. That and ati just put that card in legacy support Model HD-485X-ZDFC rev.2.1 if you all want to look up the specs has double lifetime warranty one of the reason i bought it, Had it replace by xfx once when capacitors started leaking in an older revision of the card.
