My native resolution is 1600x1200 but when i change my resolution to 1600x1200 it says 'frequency out range'. I have intel g31 without other graphic card.Then i installed gma driver it shows complete list of all resolutions but i cant set any resolution above 1600x900.

So anyway ive managed to get everthing else working on my computer but am having a problem setting the native resolution of my LG Flatron L204WS monitor. I've had a search in this part of the forums and couldnt find anyone with a similar problem so i hope im not posting another unecessary post!

Driver version: Windows update, the newest Nvidia Drivers for windows 7
Monitor cable: VGA, as this is all it supports
The problem: When trying to set the native resolution of my monitor to 1680x1050 im getting the message from my monitor that it is out of range, i think the setting for refresh rate is at 59hz and wont change to 60. I have located some LG drivers for the monitor and installed those and now windows recognizes my monitor in the advanced settings but not in the direct window of screen resolution. Could this be why? Or could it be related to the fact that the resolution atm 1400x1050 works with 59Hz but 1680x1050 does not work with 59Hz?
Ive seen a few other posts with people stuck on 59 and not being able to change to 60 but there has been no real solution found as of yet. I think i have listed all the relevant information needed for a bit of troubleshooting only if you were so kind to have a look and have a ponder
O yes there was one other very strange oddity, when i run a game such as Team Fortress 2, i can set my resolution to 1680x1050 and it runs fine, how very odd! Thats where this problem stumps me even more!
I was able to run normal resolution for a long time now and never had any issues. Today, I wake up and turn on my computer and I see some random resolution, everything is huge and looks like shit. I tried adjusting my resolution but anything past 1280x1024 doesn't work and the monitor just says "OUT OF RANGE".I run windows 7 and my graphis card is NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS

It made my computer go "Out of range" even when I rebooted, So I called a technician over to fix it and I think he did a clean reinstall of the OS. It worked after that but now I can't seem to play any games and I can't go back to resolutions such as 1280x720. I've used 1280x720 when playing an old game called "Sniper Elite" and it just goes out of range for most resolutions.

Using the 'performance monitor' I discovered that the freeze occurs when the 'frequency' goes above 100%. At no point does the cpu utilization exceed 15%. Several calls to the vendor have failed to resolve the issue or even educate me. The question I have is what is this 'frequency' and two, why does it cause the application to freeze while the 8 cores are relaxing?

I have been having a lot of problems with my turtle beach transmitter blocking any wireless signal coming into my room, which is really odd, anyway after a few messages to the company, they have told me to changed my router frequency from 5ghz to 2.4ghz and that should solve the problem.Now I have sky Fibre, and have one of the Sagem N routers provided by sky.I have gone into the router settings and I cannot find anywhere to change a frequency.I thought the router would have been n a 2.4ghz frequency anyway

I have two (don't ask ), and i'm using the better of the two, with a 2.0GHz AMD Athlon 64 'Clawhammer', 40GB IDE HDD, 512MB RAM (2x256) and 64MB of video RAM. I would ultimately like to upgrade the RAM to the 2GB max., but that would cost 60, which I don't have to spare at the moment. A friend of mine recently upgraded the RAM in his laptop from 2x512MB to 2x1GB, and offered me the 2x512MB sticks. Obviously, my first concern was was it the right type. Off the top of my head, the ZV5000 takes SODIMM 333MHz RAM. I enquired, and my friend said the RAM he has is 600MHz (from what he could remember).If they are the right physical size, would the difference matter/damage the laptop?

I have checked in the BIOS and the frequency was set to auto and the voltage was also set to auto, I have set these to 1066 and 2.10 respectively but when I checked with CPU-Z it reports frequency 534.9 and voltage 1.80. View 9 Replies View RelatedHave been getting BSODs more and more frequently over the last week. Can't think of anything special that triggered the behaviour though. It mostly happens when the computer idles and I'm doing other stuff, and doesn't seem to relate to computer load etc.
Did a bit of digging myself and used WhoCrashed to identify Comodo Backup and Daemon Tools as possible culprits. They are both uninstalled now. Installed drivers for the bluetooth which were missing and giving an exclamation mark in device manager. After that no exclamation marks or errors there.
Today I did a full memorycheck with Memtest86+, which passed all runs.
Got another BSOD couple of hours ago (0x00000124), with no lead from WhoCrashed on the root cause so now I resort to asking the gurus.

I then get the error 'sync out of range' message. I've read in other forums that the answer to this is to start in safe mode and update drivers or lower res, the thing is, is that on your first start from the installation it wont let me start in safe mode, it tells me the 'i cannot start for the first time in safe mode restart in normal mode.

The resolution of screen is fine but it is not supporting 1280 x 1024 resolution and videos are not playing properly. It was not taking audio drivers as well but when I ran the SoundMax drivers for XP in compatibility mode they were installed. But display drivers are not getting installed. I even tried the various driver from Nvidia for XP/Vista/Win 7, but none of them works.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue but my Nivida Geforce 555 already has these settings.I'm using windows 7 and I can't change my monitor(display) settings to 60, it reverts back to 59 because of some rounding thing windows 7 dose. Well, after the install my monitor pops up a box saying "Out of Range" and nothing comes up, then Ubuntu boots. I never get the option to boot Win7.
