I installed my OS 7 ultimate few times and still can't install the camera device on lenovo ideapad z560 laptop even when I download the device from the official lenovo site. Itts says device not matched and when I open youcam it says there is no camera installed.

Most (if not all) laptops does not have Floppy Drive any more and the tutorial suggests that I have to use a floppy disk to install Win XP SATA Driver/s just before I start to install Win XP to my laptop. How important to do this step? Can it be done later? The only way seems to be is using an external USB Floppy Drive? Then again, if I cannot use a USB Flash drive to load the driver/s, will the external USB floppy drive work at this stage of Win XP installation?

The problem is, that only front right is working (everywhere- in test, windows sound, music, games etc.)... I thought that the other speakers might be bad, switched them but no- now when the FR speaker is the different one, it is still working and the others are not... I plugged the green wire in the green socket, the black one (rear) in the black socket, confirmed it in the realtek manager (front speakers, rear speakers)... I tried setting it to other mods (5.1, 7.1), it�s the same, only front right speaker is working... I downloaded the newest driver (2.52 or whats the newest one) both from gigabyte and realtek...When I plug the green wire in my notebook headphones socket, both speakers work ok (I have Windows 7 ultimate on my notebook to, but the sound card is not realtek hd)...

View 2 Replies View RelatedBoth the Windows Compatibility and Canon Compatibility sites state the Rebel XT is compatible with Windows 7. That is, no drivers need be downloaded.
The EOS utility which is used to establish communications between the Rebel XT and Windows 7 is only good for Vista and previous Windows operating systems (I tried it anyway with no luck, then removed it and conducted a shutdown - not a restart - to remove any traces).
When I plug the camera into the USB port the following appears: "Device detected, installing drivers" followed by "Device drivers not successfully installed". The Windows 7 troubleshooting utility comes up with "No drivers found".
On the other hand, my Canon Powershot SD950 IS was simply plug and play like the Rebel XT is supposed to be.
Any ideas?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI completely formatted my computer to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, I put in the correct product key and then when I attempted to connect to the internet I couldn't because I don't have the correct drivers. Back when I used to use Windows XP I put a little CD in and then installed the drivers from Device Manager but now with Windows 7, I put the CD in and I can't install the drivers. They show up with a tiny symbol with a yellow exclamation mark on it (it was like this too back when I used XP, but I had no problems then,).

I wasn't too stressed as i didn't have any personal information or anything important on it. So i reinstalled Windows using my flash drive, the iso from the Windows 7 Professional 64bit CD i had, and the Windows USB-DVD tool downloaded from Microsoft. I changed the boot priorities in BIOS to my USB drive, went through the installation setup and formatted all the partitions on my HDD and installed windows 7 professional 64bit. It loads up and for the most part works fine.First off my resolution will not go above 1024 x 768. Even though previously it was a lot higher, can't remember exact resolution, but was higher than that. Next, when i go to device manager, the following are listed under Other Devices with Yellow Exclamation points by them; Ethernet Controler, Network Controller, PCI Simple Communications Controller, and SM Bus Controller. I've Googled, searched these forums, and tried each solution out there. But to no avail.I purchased the laptop from Best Buy but i do not have any kind of recovery CD's.
Basically i think windows is not properly recognizing the hardware i have installed. Because the laptop screen can go to a higher resolution, but windows won't recognize it properly. Even Windows Aero isn't working properly, and the computer is marketed as a gaming laptop, so i know it has the graphical power.Feel free to explain in detail as i'm pretty good with computers but this problem has me stumped. And for a person that will not stop until something is fixed, its driving me crazy.I'm doing this off another laptop i have that has access to the internet (obviously). So if there are any programs i need to download i have the ability to do so.
I've reinstall my Windows 7. But now i don't know the reason why my CPU always show that 100% CPU, even when starting! I've found that in window task manager there are three processes: cmd.exe, cmd.exe*32 and again,cmd.exe, (I don't run them) and if I end them CPU usage will be normal.

Now I can't run a program that ran perfectly before. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I used the compatibility trouble shooter. The only thing I haven't done is get all my drivers yet. Could not having all my drivers make a program unresponsive or do you think it is a separate problem. Like I said it worked perfect before and the only difference is I had all my drivers installed.

After getting it all installed and installing all the drivers and Windows updates, I decided to watch a movie. I then realized that the audio volume was (as a ballpark guess) 20-30% quieter than I was used to. I rebooted and loaded up the old Windows install, since I still have it, and started up the movie and the volume was back to the level that I was used to.Reinstalled drivers; From motherboard website, from Realtek website, and even went over and backed up the drivers on my old install to reinstall on the new drive.Checked all audio panel settings, made sure everything was turned up and set the same as my old install. Made sure it wasn't an issue with the media player program I was using; Reinstalled it and made sure the settings were the same as my old install. [code]
