Has anyone found any drivers that will work with slightly older Sony digital cameras , like the DSC-S30 and DSC-F505 ?
The Win XP USB driver from Sony will not work , even after Win 7 tries to install using recommended settings .
I have a Lenovo B5 series Idea Centre all-in-one with Windows 7. I downloaded videos from my digital camera and do not know where they are. Is there some way that I can change where they are saved to? I can vaguely remember when I first downloaded videos a window appeared asking where I wanted to save them and I cannot remember where I said ok to.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn Win7 I'm having an issue where when I move the files from my Canon digital camera to the hard drive the date taken on the videos are not saving. It sets them at the time I moved them to the hard drive instead.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded a MICRO-STAR INT'L CO.,LTD. MS-1034 0341 from XP/SP3, to Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. The laptop has a Digital Camera integrated into it. While the system was XP, the webcam worked. I could open My Computer, and if the camera was turned on, it showed in the inventory of devices. Now, with the new and better Windows 7 ULTIMATE, , as the camera says it is connected, but it isn't in the "Computer" inventory, and that is where you really turn the thing on. I have downloaded drivers out the ying-yang and get the same result each time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a panasonic NV-GS230 video camera. When I connect it to Windows 7/32 bit I only have the webcam. I'm unable to upload my video's from the camera to Windows 7. When I tried installing the usb drivers I've got the message that they aren't supported in Windows 7. I contacted panasonic about this and they told me I have an unsupported camera (which is only 2 years old). I now tried installing the USB drivers in the Win XP Mode. But now I get an error that my computer doesn't have any supported USB 2.0 ports.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have recently built my own computer. The only thing i was missing was an OS. I downloaded Windows 7 home premium 64 bit(from microsoft's partner Digital River). I took the ISO file onto my USB stick and tried to plug it in to my new computer. It did not work, which was logical. Then i used "Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool" from Microsoft, to make the usb bootable and the ISO. when it was done, i tried to plug the USB stick into my new computer, sadly it did not work. Then i tried to install the OS on a virtual machine "Oracle virtual box". I mounted the ISO file to the DVD drive on my laptop. Then i opened up virtual box to install the OS. It worked! I do not know why i does not work when i try to install it from the usb stick on my new computer.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI regularly video sports events with my Canon Legria HFS10 and download the results to my Dell Inspiron 1545 which has Windows 7 home edition 64 bit. Problem is that I'm limited to 3 hours full HD capture on camera and usually the event goes on longer than that without breaks. Is there a way I can capture from camera to PC while still recording the event, because there is no pause long enough to do a download during the event? The cam has a component out and HDMI out. Full HD quality is important.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBoth the Windows Compatibility and Canon Compatibility sites state the Rebel XT is compatible with Windows 7. That is, no drivers need be downloaded.
The EOS utility which is used to establish communications between the Rebel XT and Windows 7 is only good for Vista and previous Windows operating systems (I tried it anyway with no luck, then removed it and conducted a shutdown - not a restart - to remove any traces).
When I plug the camera into the USB port the following appears: "Device detected, installing drivers" followed by "Device drivers not successfully installed". The Windows 7 troubleshooting utility comes up with "No drivers found".
On the other hand, my Canon Powershot SD950 IS was simply plug and play like the Rebel XT is supposed to be.
Any ideas?
