Gigabyte UD3H Wifi Doesn't Detect WiFi Or Second Screen
Sep 21, 2012I installed all the drivers available from the Gigabyte website for some reason the wifi function simply does not work. Also, the screen plugged into the 7950 works fine but the other screen connected into the motherboard gets the message "no signal detected".

Jun 26, 2011I wanted to ask about the wifi problem on my netbook (zyrex bee 106p) made in Indonesia country. I did install the recommended way, and I have internet connection at home with the wifi network.
But when I try to connect to the internet, I do not even find the access point. And with another computer I can find the access point.
How strange, after I checked, the existing drivers already installed and I have downloaded from the official site still could not connect. Then my whim, I tried using the ubuntu live cd.
And it turns out the wifi connection can be used normally! then, where is the problem?

Feb 2, 2012I have a HP pavillion dv-6.I tried installing Windows XP as a secondary OS, but i got a BSOD every time i tried. To be more specific, I get a BSOD once all the setup files are loaded and it says Setup is starting Windows.Ever since then, my laptop no longer boots windows 7 up. It goes to the booting screen and the cursor keeps blinking, but thats it.I think the reason behind this is because xp uses boot.ini, but 7 doesnt, and if the setup files were copied onto the hard-drive, and so was a boot.ini file, it doesnt detect xp or 7.What should i do? And i was also wondering whether I can use a Hiren's disk to added Windows 7 to the boot manager, something like EasyBCD.

May 12, 2010brand new lappy. its the Acer travelmate 5740G fantastic specs - everything is nice and responsive, except that i can't connect my wireless at uni. the tech guy had a look at it and he can't figure it out either. we did everything, including shutting down (eventually deleting) the AV because of its firewall. we set up the network exactly as everyone else does (and it works for everyone else).
the computer keeps suggesting that we check the router (but the router works). i can get net through RJ45 no worries but... i want my wireless to work.

Feb 22, 2012Despite being able to connect to a Homegroup containing two wired desktops, a router, and a wireless printer, using it's LAN connection, I can't get the laptop to see the Homegroup just using wifi.The laptop can still access the internet and printer, but no homegroup.If I plug in the LAN cable I can see and automatically join the Homegroup. If I then remove the LAN cable, the wifi then connects to the Homegroup.If I start the Laptop on wifi only. It can't even see the Homegroup.
