I am not able to install Maya 2010 on my PC running on Windows 7 32Bit. Tried the Isscript installation, DirectX updated,An annoying window saying the installation was interrupted and no changes were made.

It was working perfect when ever i installed it with a fresh copy of windows 7 but the 2nd time it is installing, game is starting, when the game starts my fps suddenly goes down to 1fps very slow PC 2.5Ghz P41.5GB Ram 512MB Ati HD 3650 AGP DDR2 I've installed the latest drivers too

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt just keeps freezing for no particular reason, it doesn't shows any kind of error, I can still see the webcam image, animations from emoticons, the ellipsis when my contact is typing a message and I still can hear the microphone sound coming from my friend during a call. But I can't type, I can't click and highlight MSN's window and I also can't see the messages I recieve from my contact, It just freezes for about five minutes, and then comes back like nothing ever happened. I've already changed my LAN Settings on IE to do not automatically detect LAN Settings.

Another problem is that I don�t have enough room (so says the MS backup program) to backup a 640 GB system disk to a empty 640 GB disk! It displayed a window --that the system needs to restart for partioning. So I clicked on yes. After that it tried to restart and just stops on a blank Spotmau screen doing nothing(Spotmau Powersuite 2009 --Is a computer software used for partitioning and cloning). I tried to restart and bypass this window and start windows. But it doesn't work. I don't want to lose any data. I don't have a Windows 7 Installation CD.

I've been trying to create a Task in Outlook from a Word Document that I have created on this computer. The idea is that a shortcut to the document is created as an Outlook Task. Click on the shortcut, and voila - there is the document.The "Create Microsoft Office Task" icon DOES send the document to Outlook as a Shortcut in a Task, however, when I open the task, Outlook says:"Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: Shortcut to 'document name'."It's NOT an unsafe attachment; Outlook WILL OPEN this document if I send it as an email attachment. Outlook will open .docx files types.
i needed to edit a short clip, i already have pinnacle video spin, but i use that for longer videos, not for 20, 30 secs clips, i just wanted to add text to the video.
i remember that i find for an alternative to moviemaker time ago because moviemaker can export in 30fps, but ok i am fine with pinnacle, but for short clips i want to use moviemaker.
The problem is that in the intallation, in the list of stuff that it will install with it, it is Directx 3d 9, i already have directx 11, and i dont want to downgrade. i have read in many forum that it doesn't overwrite it because after installation it can be verified in dxdiag, i don't know what happen, but even when dxdiag says that directx 11 is there, there is a noticeable decrease in video performance AFTER the installation of the software that ask for directx9 what i suspect, that directx WAS installed but for some reason dxdiag still shows directx 11.
i dont know WHY moviemaker can't detect directx 11 and to work with that, it's the same unresolved case of the nero 7 on windows 7, that ask for the directx 9 too. and if not, it can't be installed

View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter getting ti 2010 working initially in new windows 7 install, I now get the dreaded "program stops working" which appears to be the new BSOD for windows 7. This happens at initial launch and sometimes into point where I select location of backup folder. I've tried reinstalling about a dozen times to no avail and I've even used the cleaner utility with no success. I've tried the following version of true image home 2010: 6053, 7046, 7154 and 7160. Is there a preferred version for windows 7 or should these versions be installed in a certain order? All I'm trying to do is backup an ssd drive (C) to an external 3 tb drive. This should not be a complicated event.
I've also posted this message on Acronis Forum but have not yet received any responses. I hope to do better here.If there's no solution can someone recommend backup software that is very reliable and easy to use. All I want to do is do full backup from ssd drive and data disks to an external usb drive on a regular basis.
