Can anyone suggest me a fix for the WL messenger problem.When I want to sign in, I tipe in my address and password and when I click on the sign in button I have to wait somewhere 30-60 seconds till it succesfully signs me in.
View 3 RepliesIt just keeps freezing for no particular reason, it doesn't shows any kind of error, I can still see the webcam image, animations from emoticons, the ellipsis when my contact is typing a message and I still can hear the microphone sound coming from my friend during a call. But I can't type, I can't click and highlight MSN's window and I also can't see the messages I recieve from my contact, It just freezes for about five minutes, and then comes back like nothing ever happened. I've already changed my LAN Settings on IE to do not automatically detect LAN Settings.
View 7 Replies View RelatedRoughly a week ago for an unknown reason I became unable to log into Windows Live Messenger 2012.Up until this point I was using 2012 just fine. If I uninstall and install 2011 I can sign in fine, which seems to rule out firewall/antivirus issues. I can log in with my account on the web and other devices.If I re-install 2012I've tried virtually every process listed on the Internet and cannot resolve this. Worse, the error message has changed as I try different fixes. Currently it is 800706be. I've completely deleted Windows Essentials multiple times and always get the same issueMalwareBytes and Kaspersky scan comes back clean.

I have it set up to sign in automatically, but when I start the computer or re-boot, it comes back to the sign in screen and the "sign in automatically box in not checked" There fore,it will not sign in automatically. I have searched every thing I know how to check and nothing helps. Is this fixable?
View 2 Replies View RelatedNot sure if this is the right forum, but anyways, whenever I try to log on aim or MSN it says "connection lost" and whenever i try to go to sites with HTTPS it says they aren't safe and asks me if i want to proceed or leave. Sites like wachovia, amazon account a management, etc. When i do sign on im unable to view the images of said products or even the buttons. instead of the image its either a box with a icon that looks like a torn peice of paper or has like 3-4 colored boxes within it. Im not sure what this is called.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am running IE 8 , latest as of 10 Sept 11, Windows 7 Ultimate on an Intel Quad Core (9300), 8 GB RAM, 1.5 TB Drive. When I hit "Add to Favorite" on IE to book mark a link, it takes 20-40 seconds until I am prompted to save the link some 30-40 seconds later. Needless to say, this is very annoying. I tried the following troubleshooting to isolate the problem:
1- Installed IE 9 - Same Issue
2. I removed all my existing favorite links/folders from the "Favorites folder" under C/ Users) - thninking that the number of existing links/folders may be the cause - Same Issue
3. I uninstalled IE 9 and defaulted to IE 8 - Same Issue
4. I uninstalled IE 8 - i.e. no IE browser left in my OS since IE 7 can not run on Win 7- then reinstalled IE 9 - Same Issue
5. I tried firefox, it works like a charm.
I restored to earlier versions of windows backups but it did not help. I suspect that this issue has been there for a while - may be some file or registry entry is corrupted.
I don't use Windows Live and I keep getting a Sign In page and it is a nuisance. How can this be stopped?

What's going on with the icon on my taskbar? It takes 22 seconds to load Explorer. Every other link to a folder in Explorer is practically instantaneous, including the links in Start Menu.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am running windows 7 Enterprise on my office laptops. They are connected to our lan via CAT 6 cables and a 100 Mb/s Switch. One of our central laptop has our printer connected via USB port. Printer model- Canon LBP 2900B LASER SHOT LBP2900B. Now the problem is, Whenever we send a print command via any of the networked machines, it takes Loooonnggg 2~3 minutes to start printing... The printing speed is normal once it starts, but "Commencement" lag is annoying. However, the printing starts instantaneously on the machine to which the printer is physically connected. The LAN is pretty healthy and gives consistent data speeds of 11~12 MB/s
I have already performed these steps on ALL machines:
1> Uninstall and re-install printer drivers
2> Update anti-Virus and Run total scans
3> Run defragment on HDDs
4> Ran a Scan disk for HDDs
When I boot up W7 Home Premium I always get the Windows Live Messenger log-in panel.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am on Win 7 Ultimate and my messenger kept logging out every 40 seconds or so. After I logged in,my contact list would be different each time.(I am confident that my friends did not come and go at the time.) For around 40 seconds, I would be able to open chat windows, type them a message, and it will then bounce back.Shortly after that I'd be logged off and it'll reconnect. After 6-20 times of logging in and out desperately, it would then magically log back with the correct contact list and it would stop disconnecting.
I have tried reinstall Live Messenger(6 times), checked the 'Sign me out of all other places when I sign in' box in option. I have reinstall Win 7 too many times it consumed all my free time and now my social life(MSN) is about over...

I've done everything, disabled some of the unnecessary startup progs in the msconfig, but what really annoys me is that on my older PC ( dual core and a 3gb of ram ) it wasn't that bad, it used to take like 3~4 seconds on the welcome screen....

i unable to signin my yahoo messenger, skype and even cannot load to yahoo mail website. but i still can surf other website normally. i noticed that some of the page that required password are unable to load. the will be an error that ask to check the intrnet conection. im using LAN connection. i tried to login yahoo mail, and signin skype and ym by using my friends pc in my home and i can login/singin without any trouble. we using the same internet connction.i already reformat my laptop cause i thought there is laptop problem. but there is still no luck. same problem still occur. i scaned my lappy with updated antvrus (btdefender) but no virus detected. i also tried unable the firewall in my system but no changed.
