Unable To Sign On AIM And Windows Messenger
Jul 8, 2011Not sure if this is the right forum, but anyways, whenever I try to log on aim or MSN it says "connection lost" and whenever i try to go to sites with HTTPS it says they aren't safe and asks me if i want to proceed or leave. Sites like wachovia, amazon account a management, etc. When i do sign on im unable to view the images of said products or even the buttons. instead of the image its either a box with a icon that looks like a torn peice of paper or has like 3-4 colored boxes within it. Im not sure what this is called.

Oct 29, 2012Roughly a week ago for an unknown reason I became unable to log into Windows Live Messenger 2012.Up until this point I was using 2012 just fine. If I uninstall and install 2011 I can sign in fine, which seems to rule out firewall/antivirus issues. I can log in with my account on the web and other devices.If I re-install 2012I've tried virtually every process listed on the Internet and cannot resolve this. Worse, the error message has changed as I try different fixes. Currently it is 800706be. I've completely deleted Windows Essentials multiple times and always get the same issueMalwareBytes and Kaspersky scan comes back clean.

I have it set up to sign in automatically, but when I start the computer or re-boot, it comes back to the sign in screen and the "sign in automatically box in not checked" There fore,it will not sign in automatically. I have searched every thing I know how to check and nothing helps. Is this fixable?

Oct 4, 2010i unable to signin my yahoo messenger, skype and even cannot load to yahoo mail website. but i still can surf other website normally. i noticed that some of the page that required password are unable to load. the will be an error that ask to check the intrnet conection. im using LAN connection. i tried to login yahoo mail, and signin skype and ym by using my friends pc in my home and i can login/singin without any trouble. we using the same internet connction.i already reformat my laptop cause i thought there is laptop problem. but there is still no luck. same problem still occur. i scaned my lappy with updated antvrus (btdefender) but no virus detected. i also tried unable the firewall in my system but no changed.

Apr 2, 2011So Windows 7 has a feature that will auto-adjust the volume during video chatting. Seems like a good idea but in reality it just brings down the volume to a point to where I cant even hear the person. I have done some research on this but everything I could find said to go to Sound Settings -> Communications Tab -> and check the box that says "Do Nothing".I did this but it had no effect on Live Messenger. I downloaded Yahoo Messenger and it doesn't have this audio problem. I would much rather use Live Messenger because the video quality is MUCH better than other video chatting programs but I cant seem to get passed this problem.

May 20, 2012I bought a Asus U36J laptop back in April of last year and ever since then I have been beating around an issue that I dont seem to be able to resolve one way or the other. When ever the laptop is on battery and in battery saving mode it has my taskbar on autohide. If I turn that off, then it stays off right until it is put back into battery saving mode at which point it is "magically" ticked on again.
Is there no way to simply disable that feature, as its annoying me greatly. I know its tied into the battery saving desktop, and I want to keep the battery saving desktop but want a full taskbar all the time. I found a supposed fix to make that happen, and while it actually makes the taskbar appear all the time, it still is a bad hack as any windows I have open wont "attach" to the taskbar but attaches to the buttom of the screen.
So for the love of god is there no sane way for me to keep the battery saving desktop but get rid of the autohiding taskbar. Otherwise I know Asus most likely wont be my laptop of choice next time aroumd.

Nov 25, 2009When connecting from my own or a 2nd computer from my own windows live home page which shows my data every time I click mail it shows up as a no can do due to log in error. My computer will go there automatically w/o a problem but not from the live mail home page. Whats up w/that?
I have shanged my password and that took, so I know that's not the problem.
I installed Win 7 from Vista, no problem and then installed Win Live Mail only. This was the 1st use of Live mail. I dropped Outlook. Do I need to install something else?
Keyboard Won't Let To Sign In
Jul 11, 2012Every so often, at least once a week it seems, my keyboard won't load, keeping me from signing in. So far, I've had to reboot it, sometimes twice, to reset the service or whatever is suppose to load. I don't receive any error message, it just simply doesn't type.
