I fix it by deleting all the local windows live contact folders in AppData, but this way I loose all my custom emoticons, and as you can see, the problem come back after some days. Is there anyway to permanent fix this problem?
I'm using windows 7 ultimate edition. no McAfee, No Anti-Virus.
Couldn't find either the WMnet1 nor WMnet8 to Disable.
When I use the backup utility in the control panel, and try to restore an image, at the point where I hit restart, I get the message - windows cannot restart into recovery environment.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I start Windows 7 about 30 seconds after the login, I see an error message popping up that says: "Failed to initial environment". In the task bar I see the an icon that writes MFC, which is the program that gives the error message. I looked in my task manager under processes if I see MFC, but there is nothing like this. I am using Windows 7 64 bit.Does anyone have an idea what that would be?Here are 3 screen shots, which show the error and all processes running in my task manager.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and Office 2007 and one day I get the error "Outlook could not create the work file check the temp environment". The error itself was of no help but after searching and searching I found supposed "fixes". I have tried a number of them but then I shut down the computer for the day and the next day the error is back.I will email you a beer or something.I have tried:Deleting all files in the temporary folders since one "fix" noted a full folderChecking the HKEY in regedit.exe and all was well with %userprofile%local settingemporary internet files so the suggestion was to change to "temp" instead of temporary internet files.I went into Internet Explorer tools and moved the folder per another "fix"I went to regedit and changed CACHE value to c:wi

The backup tool is complaining about not having enough space for a backup but it wants 18GB and I have over 88GB on my backup target drive.
Anyone else seen this?
I did see in another forum that it was related to a system restore backup. If that's the case, does anyone know how I can determine how much space everything will take? Seems strange that it's not telling me the entire space requirement. (If that is the case with the restore image)
anyone got an idea on why i keep getting the error message not enough disk space for back up image
when there is more then enough on 3 different drives but i still get the same message. i have 2x 64 bit Windows 7 installs and 1 x 86 Windows 7 all 3 give same error message when i try to create an image.
When I start my computer, a window appears that says: Runtime Error! Program: CProgram FilesDell Support Centerpcdrcui.exe R6016 - not enough space for thread data
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been messing around with Ubuntu and other OS's and after I installed Ubuntu on a 5gb partition, I realized that is way too small, so I went into Windows, opened up Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) and just deleted the volume. Well now I have a green partition and when I try to delete the partition, I get the error "There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation" I am doing this all on my internal hard dive in my laptop.

I am not able to make backup, I get message not enough free space for shadow copy? How do I resolve this? I understand some kind of USN journal is created on System reserved partion. This hidden partition was created when I installed and now I have only 38Mb free out of 100Mb. As I understand this has been an Issue for more than a year, and still Microsoft has not resolved?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm belatedly trying to create my first system recovery backup, on a system which I first installed Windows back in November 2011.I have a 1TB drive with a 214GB partition that I set up for a backup. I manually store all my media and pictures to both a separate partition on the drive, in the cloud, and on a separate external HDD, so all I really want to back up is the system image. This is the newbie sounding question to confirm my suspicions: The system drive I'm trying to back up is definitely bigger than the partition I've set aside for recovery. My C drive is a 473GB partition, and I'm using maybe a bit more than half of that currently. If this is the case, is there a way to reallocate un-used disk space from my other partitions to make the recovery partition larger, or should I be biting the bullet and shelling out for a 500GB external to cover my system recovery needs?

View 4 Replies View RelatedACD has a forum which after logging in I could not find a way to post or contact support so I'm wondering if I should get another photo software or just learn this one. I took 7,000 pictures by subject and copied them over to another folder and re-built it into dates but I only have 6,000 pictures so where did the other 1,000 pictures go. So I wonder if there is a way to compare these two main folder and see which ones are left out since I didn't change and of the pictures names?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt just keeps freezing for no particular reason, it doesn't shows any kind of error, I can still see the webcam image, animations from emoticons, the ellipsis when my contact is typing a message and I still can hear the microphone sound coming from my friend during a call. But I can't type, I can't click and highlight MSN's window and I also can't see the messages I recieve from my contact, It just freezes for about five minutes, and then comes back like nothing ever happened. I've already changed my LAN Settings on IE to do not automatically detect LAN Settings.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi needed to edit a short clip, i already have pinnacle video spin, but i use that for longer videos, not for 20, 30 secs clips, i just wanted to add text to the video.
i remember that i find for an alternative to moviemaker time ago because moviemaker can export in 30fps, but ok i am fine with pinnacle, but for short clips i want to use moviemaker.
The problem is that in the intallation, in the list of stuff that it will install with it, it is Directx 3d 9, i already have directx 11, and i dont want to downgrade. i have read in many forum that it doesn't overwrite it because after installation it can be verified in dxdiag, i don't know what happen, but even when dxdiag says that directx 11 is there, there is a noticeable decrease in video performance AFTER the installation of the software that ask for directx9 what i suspect, that directx WAS installed but for some reason dxdiag still shows directx 11.
i dont know WHY moviemaker can't detect directx 11 and to work with that, it's the same unresolved case of the nero 7 on windows 7, that ask for the directx 9 too. and if not, it can't be installed
I have been using Windows 7 backup and restore but never tested out the restore part and frankly dont trust it. Another problem is that I dont have enough room (so says the MS backup program) to backup a 640 GB system disk to a empty 640 GB disk! On top of that, I am not backing everything up and the system disk has some 105 GBs still available!
