Has anyone got Juniper Networks Network Connect working? I was able to install Juniper Network Connect, but the Juniper "host checker" refuses connection, because OS is wrong: check_os returns false. Any idea how to work around?
I checked the FAQ from Juniper, but they are saying "we will support when Windows 7 is GA".
Last night I was on the internet at home absolutely fine and my laptop automatically downloaded an update, since then I have been unable to connect to my wi-fi. I deleted the updates and was still unable to connect, so I tried to used a system recovery restore point and every one I use starts but fails to complete.So, I did a factory reset after around 8 hours of trying to sort it out today and I STILL have the same problem. I can plug in the cable to connect and my housemate is having absolutely no issues connecting and neither is my phone so now I am at a total loss what I should do to resolve this. Prior to the factory reset I was able to connect to the wi-fi but it was stating no network access/limited access and now it simply won't connect to my internet at all. It finds my full strength signal but will not connect.My drivers for the Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n card are the most up to date and the laptop (HP G62) says it is working fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy laptop suddenly stopped being able to connect to the network in my house and for that obviously it doesn't have any internet. It doesn't work either by connecting a cable or trying to use the wireless, here are the detaills for each case: When I connect the cable, the laptop detects it, but doesn't detect any network, it doesn't seem to even be trying. I checked on the network adapters, and it clearly says "enabled" when connected and when disconnected it changes to "No network cable plugged in". When I try to connect to my network, it always ends up saying "Limited access", when I tried troubleshooting, it said that there may be an error with the network drivers, I tried the fix there, and then it says that there must be an error with the network adapters.
Here's what I have tried so far:
-Reinstalling the devices and drivers, when I check them in device manager, it says that both the wireless and network driver are working properly.
-I tried resetting the router.
-Tried resetting the bios of the computer to it's factory ones.
- Tried resetting IPv4 and IPV6, along with the IP/TCP using the command prompt, still no go.
When I try to ipconfig /release or ipconfig /renew, I get an error saying the next thing: "An error ocurred while releasing interface Loopback Pseudo-Interface 1: they System cannot find the file specified. The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for this operation."

In desperation, all boffins, geeks and wizards at Microsoft � I need help. I have had a home network now for at least 10 years and for the first time, I just cannot get it to work. That is since I upgraded to supa dupa Win 7 Prof. I have three machines in the network, two laptops and one desktop. Printers, backup drives etc all attached to the desktop. Desktop and one laptop running Win 7 Prof. One laptop running Xp.
In a nutshell, I have tried everything on this website and others and nothing works. I am no idiot around this stuff and I am simply dumb founded. I have set up and recreated Homegroup, changed settings, disabled my Eset firewall as well as win firewall. You name it I have tried it � to no avail. After doing some research it appears many, many people have a similar problems. Machine can see each other, but come hell or high water, cannot access. I am soooo disappointed with this. Please tell me there is something different that I can try. At this point, all my hardware is locked out since upgrading to Win 7.
I have been using my home internet in my new place for a couple of weeks fine, yesterday morning when I tried it it had the limited access yellow triangle and wouldn�t connect.I reset the router and connected to the wifi on my iphone which worked fine, I checked the DNS numbers were the same as on my iphone which they were and I had not changed any settings. I spent the entire day yesterday online looking for solutions, I�ve reset the adapter, disabled it etc, set the ip and dns to automatic and back again etc etc.
When my wifi tries to connect to my home internet it takes a LONG time to identify and then identifies it either as an unidentified network and/or public. Even when I change it to home it changes it back to public or just doesn�t let me change it to home and says try again later.
Ps- I just tried disabling then re-enabling the protocol 6 on the wifi which isn�t working and it just said �in order to configure TCP/IP, you must install and enable a network adapter card. But then it just let me configure it and is still connected but with limited access and public network.

The Connection was working about ten days ago and then suddenly stopped and read as an unidentified network no internet access. at one point is was not receiving packets but now it is but it still says no internet access on the IPv4 Connectivity. Media state is also enabled and the speed is 100.0 Mbps when i troubleshoot it says windows cant identify problem but in the details it says default gateway is available. when i use the cmd prompt ipconfig/all my local ethernet adapter has a physical address of all zeros.
I have a brand new acer aspire notebook and I'm trying to connect to my airport extreme card built into my iMac desktop. The laptop sees the signal just fine, but it will not connect to the Internet and I get "limited access". What can I do to connect?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just set up a new ASUS zenbook prime. I set up the wireless network 2 nights ago and had no problems. I then installed Microsoft Office 2010 and the problems started. I started getting errors about ATK0100 driver missing and the wireless function stopped working. I re-installed the ATK0100 driver and that stoppped that error message. I then thought that the wireless adapter may have also been affected by the Offce install so I removed then re-installed that one (Intel Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235). I also unistalled Office but still hasn't fixed the problem. I can connect via a 4G USB wireless adapter but can't connect to my home wireless modem. I have 2 other laptops (windows7 and vista) accessing the wireless modem. When I try to connect the error is "no network access"" and "Windows was unable to connect to "SSID"". I have tried removing the wireless network and adding it again but to no avail. I have also used the troubleshooter but it can't find anything wrong either. The wireless function is on and I'm not sure what else to try? I have trawled through lots of forums and it seems like quite a few people have the same problem but I haven't yet found an answer.

That desk is now gone, caput, and replaced by a much bigger, sturdier and prettier glass replacement.Before I dissasembled the computer to re-decorate, I was able to browse the internet at ease. There were no problems at all...However, after the new desk was setup - and all wires replaced in their correct slots, I find that I am unable to connect to the internet, or even the house's network! For the past year, I have been wired to the router using a RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC. It was plugged into an extension cord, in my room, into the Ethernet port in the back of my computer. Downstairs, it's twin was situated no less than 2 feet away from the router - plugged into the first port.Now, when I boot up the computer, the network notification presents the following message: "Unidentified Network. No network access", and sometimes presents a yellow ! next to it. So, I am reduced to typing on my mother's laptop - which has no problems connecting to the network.I am able to use the ipconfig /release command, but unable to use the /renew - it hangs in the command prompt, then tells me that the DHCP server cannot be located. The IP, beforehand, was reverted to 169.254.223.117 - before all of this, I was 192.168.0.5?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had a problem on my Windows 7 desktop earlier this week - Windows crashed on startup. I managed to get round it by selecting the option to start windows at the last good point (sorry can't remember the exact wording). Windows is up and running, but I can't connect to the internet - although:
- My desktop icon (and TP-Link) both say I'm connected to the internet
- when I troubleshoot (from inside the control panel) - it says that there's not a problem
- when I select Internet options -> Connections -> set-up it replys with "You are already connected to the internet"?
But:
- when I start internet explorer - it pauses for a few seconds then crashes.
- when I start Chrome - any website gives me a error 137 (err_Name_resolution_failed).
- even itunes can't see the internet.
A few hours ago I installed a Windows update, so my ACER Aspire 5733 restarted. I shut it down after the restart, not paying attention to the wireless. When I went to turn it back on, I couldn't get online because my home wireless connection has "Limited access."The icon signifying signal strength on the taskbar has a small yellow star-shaped dot on it. When I click on it, it pops up and says "Not connected. Connections are available. It then says my wireless network name and says "Limited access" next to it. The signal strength is excellent.When I disconnect and then reconnect it says the connection was unsuccessful because the computer has limited connectivity.The same network is working on my other laptop and on my iPod, but not on my Aspire 5733.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy laptop will connect perfectly fine to my home network, other private networks, and many public hotspots. But there seems to be an issue recently with a few local hotspots around town here (Starbucks, McDonalds). I can go to one Starbucks and connect perfectly fine, then drive right down the street to another and while I am connected, it says I have no internet access. I've been able to connect perfectly fine here before, but suddenly this problem has continued. I'm completely at a loss for what to do. I've rebooted, disabled and re-enabled the network card, tried to troubleshoot the problem (which results in no information). The darned thing shows me that I am connected with terrific signal strength, but no internet access.

Everywhere in my house my internet works but the second i go in my room it stops. It is still connected it just says no internet access. My parents computer works in my room. Is there like a setting I can change to help make it work or is it something with my actual internet?

It is not my router becuase It shows the same thing no matter where I try to connect. I have tried my gym and a local restaurant that I have always had success connecting to before. Furthermore my WindowsXP desktop is directly connected and is connecting to the internet without any problems. My laptops are both running AVG for antivirus.

- I am using d-Lan (PowerLan) and have had no problems with it until today.
- My router, modem and the d-lan devices are functioning properly which I have tested multiple times so I'm sure the problem lies with my computer.
- I have tried Troubleshooting with no effect
- It isn't an IP conflict
- It isn't a 3rd party program (I started it in safe mode, same problem)
- Internet still works over my W-Lan but is incredibly slow and unstable
For boxing day, I bought myself a new Computer case, a Cooler Master HAF 932. After setting it up and booting my computer, without any problems, my Internet would not work.
I attached the Network & Sharing Centre screen to show you what it says. I've tried many things, switching cables, direct input from modem (I use a router), and all sorts of guides that have similar problems.
So yesterday my internet was working fine, but today when I returned and got it out of standby, I could not connect to the internet. It says "limited access" when I try to connect to the wireless, and when I try to connect with an ethernet cable nothing happens.If I troubleshoot, Windows is unable to resolve it. The problem it says is:There might be a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network Connection adapter.There might be a problem with the driver for the Local Area Connection Adapter.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 3 weeks ago, I was using a public WIFI connection. *something* went wrong, my computer froze up, and ever since, my system icons have been disabled and I can only connect to my home WIFI connection - by going to the control panel and manually connecting. Since I no longer have my connectivity icon, I can not view the available networks, and therefore cannot select one to connect to. Only my home WIFI connection works.This is bad, since I will be moving soon and leaving my home network. View 3 Replies View RelatedNew Windows 7 Ultimate PC cannot connect to my home network or the internet for around 15-20 mins and then it will suddenly work. Windows reports 'No connections are available' and Occasionally jumps to 'identifying network' then back to 'No connections are available' until it gets a connection. Once connected everything works perfectly until i reboot the machine. The network connection is fine as other computers can connect quickly without problems through the same cable.

So I go in the list of networks, click "Other Network" and type in my SSID. It says it's connecting but then it says there was a problem connecting. So I troubleshoot and it troubleshoots and when its done it says there is a problem with my wireless adapter or access point and it fixed it and I have internet.
