Internet Not Working/igfxcui Deleted/Virus?
May 24, 2011
All of the sudden my internet disconnected and stopped working. It says Windows was unable to connect to _____ (connection). I also get a Spybot SD notification saying Winlogon Notifiers Value deleted igfxcui. Not sure if that's related. I'm on another computer thats perfectly connected to this internet. I tried system restore twice. I Ran Malwarebytes, Spybot SD - no results. I also recently downloaded Berry Extract (for blackberries). Not sure what to do.

I install Microsoft My private folder program. I upload in there documents and photos. One day my Kaspersky note me that inside program are virus. And all my files recognize as virus. I just think in that time maybe I install bad program and in there is virus. I remember that virus was: $e. So I just done mistake and delete them. After that I open folder and all my photos and documents was damage.
Kaspersky not have option BackUp my deleted virus. I try Restore point and no luck. So what I use Recovery programs. I try 3. But only from one I get files back. So my question is, can I recover my files with program or with other option? Or This is it and I not have any option recover? Here is one photo how look recovered files. And two files I give in here.

A week ago my computer crashed after my dad used it. It ran a System Fix which was a virus and a program I don't remember installing. Now when it boots it has a black screen that says Windows Memory Error and gives two options, Start Windows Recovery or Start Windows Normally. When he realized what he had done he tried the recovery tool first. It had a Windows is Loading files bar that didn't move at all so he left it on all night. It never moved, so he tried option 2 it brought up the 5 Recovery tools none of them did anything helpful. We tried using safe mode, it doesn't work either, brings back to useless Windows Recovery tools. We went out and Bought an OEM since the person we bought this from forgot to give us the Install Discs, We got to Repair Your Computer option below Install, it said our version of windows wasn't the right version for the OEM so it was a waste of $200. Now I am stuck and out of ideas. I've hooked the harddrives up to our old Windows XP and virus scanned, check disced, and backed up them. how to recover and repair without reformatting/wiping the HDD?

Our PC internet quit working a few days ago. Our wireless laptop and Ipods work. After some (hours) of playing, I noticed our homepage was set to something Babylon. So realized we had some virus issues after research. I have run SpyBot S&D, SAS and Malwarebytes- all came up with some various serious threats. CouponBar, Babylon, I want it! etc. These programs seemed to have removed all the problems, but I still do not have access. My LAN can find my network, but says "no internet access" the wireless does not connect either on this PC.
My computer knowledge is minimal but after comparing various ipconfig screens, it seems to have something to do with the IP addresses. I read that 169.254...is not good. I disabled IPV6 and when obtaining IP addresses automatically didn't work- I typed in the ones listed on the details part of the adapter. Here is a screen shot of my IPconfig/all with LAN only: Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . .. . .
[code]....

While struggling to get rid of the win7 security 2012 virus I believe I accidentally deleted a registry key that had to do with my internet instead of one of the ones for the virus. I am not very tech savvy but I can navigate around a computer fairly well with the right guidance. I did not make a copy of the registry keys before attempting to edit them, and for some reason I have no restore dates before I made this mistake to use system restore. Now whenever I open my internet browser (internet explorer 8) I receive a: internet explorer cannot display this webpage. I have connectivity with my router but limited access. I tried trouble shooting and got a message saying there was an error with the DNS. Possibly just a list of what registry keys could possibly cause just my internet to go down. If I can find out which one I deleted I should be able to manually type it in.

I'm using windows7 enterprise edition on my Laptop. Accidentally I have removed most of the files inside ProgramData folder.
Now issue is that, DHCP Client Service is not working.
(1) Does DHCP Client really Depends upon any file there?
(2) I have seen that some of the folder have been created inside ProgramData. Can I copy any folder/file from other Laptop (Win7 EE) to my laptop to make this work?

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium. My wireless connection has been working on and off for a while, but now it just refuses to work. The other computers in the wireless network are working just fine, so it must be definitely something in my laptop.I can detect the network just fine, with good signal. It says:
Media State: Enabled
IPv4 Connectivity: No internet access
IPv6 Connectivity: No internet access
Also, in the activity there are Bytes sent and received, but I cannot connect to any webpage either with Chrome of Firefox I'm using McAfee Security Center. I tried turning off the firewall, but it still doesn't work.

I could be on my computer for hours at a time and after approximately 6 hours of being logged in, my internet browser just stops working. When I try going to a web page, it doesn't even try to load. It gives a very quick blink to the icon on the tab but that's it. I'm not receiving any windows errors. The way that I've been working around this problem has been to log off(or shut it down) then log back on, then I have a few more hours before it does it again. When the browser stops working, "bittorrent" still runs (a program that needs internet access). This isn't a recent problem that I'm having. This has been going on for almost a year now.I'm running Windows7.

I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. And it says that it cannot connect to my home network with my Belkin Wireless G adapter. It is the 4.xxx series (both desktops use this kind of adapter). Every other computer in my house connects just fine to the network: Macbook Pro, three Windows 7 laptops, and 1 Windows 7 desktop PC that's connected to a network adapter. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I upgraded my Windows Vista Home PC instead of doing a clean install

I don't know if anyone here can help me, but here goes a shot. For some months, I've had internet disconnections. The pattern is, for a week it will be fine, but then it'll disconnect, more often. It's temporarily fixed when a tech guy comes over and replaces the modem/checks wires/etc. So far, I've had 2 tech guys come over and they both checked the box outside my house and my internet dsl company, hickory tech, has replaced the port in their office last week on Monday, but I had disconnections on friday, saturday, and sunday.

I have two operating systems installed on my Sony Vaio VPCF115FG, Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
Wi-Fi is working fine on both, however, LAN connections are only working on Windows 8 but not Windows 7. It reads the LAN connection in Windows 7 but it does not actually connect to the internet. I honestly tried everything, including uninstalling the LAN driver and reinstalling it, no use.
This is an error I received before: [URL]
