I deleted Gfxui because it was not working. A message on start-up was showing gfxui is not working. As at now the message on start-up is saying windows cant find Gfxui. How can i reconfigure gfxui?

Installing the latest driver didn't fix it. So I have no idea what to do. View 7 Replies View RelatedI just built my first HTPC and for the life of me I cannot figure out why this is happening. Windows works just fine, I can do anything, I can hook up my TV/Monitor via onboard DVI, VGA, or HDMI running in 1080p and everything appears to be fine. When I right click and view graphics properties the screen flashes black and tells me GfxUI has stopped working. Also I can watch video online from some sources (MegaVideo) but others it just brings my system to a halt and tells me GfxUI stopped working. I have the latest Intel drivers (8.15.10.2509), Intel Management Engine Interface (6.0.0.1179), and ING interface (9.2.0.1030). In addition, I've also tried numerous past drivers as well. I've also gone through and disabled/enabled .NET 3.5.1, updated .NET 4, got the Visual C++ Runtime, etc. I've done everything the other forums suggest to no avail.

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen i turn on my acer (7741z-5731 laptop) i get a message stating gfx-iu has stopped working. i looked at other forums and they suggest installing drivers from intel. i downloaded driver from intel and it says not for this computer. i went acer web site and the only driver i saw regarding graphics is marked intel vga driver. my laptop says intel HD graphics. i'm not sure if this is the correct driver. if not how do i fix this error without purchasing one of those auto driver updater programs.

Now issue is that, DHCP Client Service is not working.
(1) Does DHCP Client really Depends upon any file there?
(2) I have seen that some of the folder have been created inside ProgramData. Can I copy any folder/file from other Laptop (Win7 EE) to my laptop to make this work?

I am trying to remove duplicate pictures that are in my Windows Pictures Library and also on the ext. hard drive (they have the same name on both drives). However when I find a common one and delete it from the Windows Picture Library, it also deletes it from the ext. hard drive! I did not expect the files to be 'related', and therefore any action I took on one file wouldn't affect the other.'

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am constantly running into issues trying to delete files--mostly .exes. It really interferes with many "autoupdate" programs like Steam and Origin. I have to use safemode to install updates... It also affects other things like compiling; I get occasional (essentially random) errors when the output file already exists and I want to overwrite it. I also can't delete the affected file(s) for a long time--often upwards of 1 minute. However, if I wait long enough, I can eventually delete the files.The error is always something like "you don't have permission blahblah." I have tried those unlocker programs, and while they can sometimes delete the file, an autoupdater (for example) can never actually write the new copy, even though I don't see the file in the directory.
I have tried running programs as administrator.I am using an administrator account.I have UAC dsabled.I am not running an antivirus or any program that should be interfering.I've tried changing folder permissions as per multiple guides I have read (some from this site).None of the above does anything..This problem has been plaguing me for almost 1 year. I have reinstalled Windows 7 twice in that time, and the problem exists from the get go. I have been using Windows 7 for over 2 years, but I never had this problem until my second to last installation. I don't know what changed.
